Great service and great food! We all ordered combinations, sushi+ca roll with tonkatsu, sashimi and fried oysters, samari roll and fried oysters, and dancing Ebi roll with chicken teriyaki. Everything was delicious!

Great value for lunch under $20 for sushi or bento set. Lots to choose for and quick service.

This review is a to go order however I have eaten here many times during lunch and the price for quality of food can't be beat. The staff is always accommodating and joyful We usually get two specials where you get shasmi or shushi with a role. It's a good amount of food for the cost even for larger guys

Would recommend for sushi, but not generally for the other Japanese offerings here. This place is run by Korean folks, and the Japanese flavors in their offerings don't hit just right. I'd much rather recommend heading down south closer to Seattle for authentic Japanese that's not sushi, or if you don't want to drive that far, go to Lynnwood for awesome Korean food. A prime example is the Katsu Curry, which was closer to Korean-style Katsu that Japanese. It wasn't thick enough to be Japanese style, which made the cut awkward and wasn't as tender and juicy as I was hoping for. The fresh/sushi offerings were great though, and I was excited to find a decent sushi spot with reasonable prices up north. The Albacore Tataki and the two other rolls we tried (Spicy Tuna and Crunch Tiger, not pictured) were both delicious and well worth the price for lunch. The service was great and the spot was nice and quiet. Would be back if I'm in the area and craving sushi for lunch.

I was pleasantly surprised by Sakuma. For a restaurant that has been around since 2007, it has a very small footprint. I only became aware of it recently because it was recommended to me. I didn't expect much, but I am moving it into my Rotation Collection. The Beef Curry Udon was very good. The noodles had a good al dente chewiness in an excellent Japanese vegetable curry to which they added sukiyaki cut beef. I would have preferred chunks of beef that were well stewed in the curry, but many restaurants just make the veg and add beef or chicken at the end. The prices are very fair, and the menu has a good variety. The service is very friendly and attentive. The decor is pleasant and kept very clean. A satisfying experience.

We were craving some sushi one night and ended up finding Sakuma open nearby so we decided to check it out. The pictures here honestly looked so good, I already had high hopes of good quality sushi. Just before 8pm, I placed an order for 8 rolls. I knew they closed at 9 so it was slightly late to be ordering that large of an order but they seemed to have no issues with it and we had our food right at the estimated pickup time (8:40). Once we got home, I opened the boxes and everything looked AMAZING. Better than I was even expecting. The fish seemed so fresh, everything had such good flavor, it blew me away. The rolls are huge so be prepared for big bites of deliciousness! We decided that this is our new favorite sushi spot pretty much instantly so we'll be returning often. The inside looks really nice as well so I'm looking forward to dining in soon.

Whet here with a few friends. No reservations. No wait time. Plenty of parking. The food was overall really good. Inside was quiet and seemed clean. I would go here again to try other menu options. I really like their tea cups.

The most important criteria for Japanese restaurants is "Freshness" to me. It feels like the chef just catch a fish from the ocean.

This is my second time trying this place and it's so good! The food is super authentic and there are many options. I love the bento box since it gives you a little bit of everything.

I've been wanting sushi for so long and this place completely satisfied my cravings. Best little hidden spot in Mukilteo, such a GEM! From start to finish our experience here was so amazing! The food was super delicious, came out quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Will be coming again!

Best Japanese food in Snohomish county. Ingredients are fresh. Tempura is light and not greasy. Presentation is also very nice.

So they must have ironed out opening kinks because we had a better experience this time around. The katsu we ordered were all good. The rosu pork is my preferred cut, because it is a little fattier than the tenderloin. It was tender and crunchy outside. I loved the grated radish. One of us got the salmon katsu and she loved it. It was a thick slice, but it looked moist inside. Our server was really nice and knowledgeable with her suggestions. The food came out without much wait, even if they were about 80% full. The server was attentive, always asking us how our food was and refilling our ice waters. Love the space and tasty, simple decor of this restaurant. There's covered parking attached to the apartment complex above. This place is surely comparable to the other katsu places here in Seattle. I'm glad it's in our neighborhood.

It was light and fluffy and full of flavor. It came with a traditional cabbage salad which was very refreshing. The udon curry was right up my wife's alley, and I do like curry but I'm not the biggest udon noodle fan. It still was very full of flavor and delicious. Side note, the dressing or sauce that was in the table was let me say to die for. We put it on everything. If I had it on hand all the time it would probably be a condiment that I used on a very regular basis. The service was top notch and our server was very sweet and patient. We took awhile to look over the whole menu and there are so many things that I would come back for just to try. The only let down was the edamame as it is a staple that we usually order at any restaurant when available. They were very hot and cold and felt like it was a frozen edamame that was nuked in the microwave. The establishment itself was very modern looking with a very clean vibe. We will definitely be back. This is definitely a spot in lynnwood that needs more love from people. Then again, it could be packed all the time, but we were there very early on Mother's Day.

We came in the evening after day 2 of Geekfest and it was pretty busy inside. Luckily there was a spot open for two so we were seated and given menus. The inside is a bit dim, there were lots of tables with chairs or booth seats throughout, and there was even bar seating as well. My boyfriend ordered tonkotsu ramen and crunchy salmon roll as well as takoyaki to share while I got their red volcano tonkotsu and a Thai iced tea. I noticed there was a Japanese customer who spoke with one of the waitresses and she spoke Japanese back and it was cool to see and hear that! I wonder if the owners are Japanese as well as it's rare to find actual Japanese owned restaurants. The service here was friendly, courteous and they did check in every so often. The choice of music playing was quiet cafe music which was interesting but it was so hard to hear. My Thai iced tea came first then the takoyaki. Afterwards, our ramen bowls came not too long after that and the sushi roll came in last. I am so happy to say that the takoyaki was the perfect ratio of batter, octopus, and sauces on top. The ramen broth was hearty and smooth. I loved how spicy my red volcano tonkotsu was especially because I love things extremely spicy and it was definitely a fantastic ramen for spicy lovers. My boyfriend said he was very happy with his roll and ramen. He usually doesn't order ramen too often especially on a hot day but he said he was happy he did as it was one of the better ones he's had. My Thai iced tea was the right amount of sweetness and the perfect thing to sip on while handling my spicy ramen. I definitely want to come back to try their other selections.

I was looking for dinner in the area and happened to stumble upon this bento spot on Google Maps. After a quick look through the photos, menu, and reviews, it seemed worth trying, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento, and after trying it, I can confidently say this is one of the most generously portioned and thoughtfully put-together bentos I've had in a while. The chicken was juicy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The attention to detail across the whole box really stood out, from the egg maki with crab stick to the pickled assorted veggies, yakisoba, radish, and a mountain of perfectly crunchy assorted tempura. Every component felt intentional and well executed. Beyond the food itself, which delivered on quality, flavor, and portion size, the presentation was great and the interior was extremely tidy and well kept. I got my order to go, and I really appreciated that they had seating available for takeout customers. The owner, I believe, who took my order was also incredibly friendly and patiently waited while I decided what to get. That kind of hospitality really adds to the experience. Between the excellent food and the warm service, this spot deserves way more attention. Honestly, if a place like this were located closer to downtown, like South Lake Union, Queen Anne, Fremont, or Madrona, it would easily become one of the most popular teriyaki spots around. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time. There is ample parking around the plaza which is excellent as well!
