I am giving this establishment two stars because while the therapist, Mia, is exceptionally skilled, the management and professional conduct at U Massage were fundamentally disrespectful. I have been a patron of Wealth Massage for years, but my experience at the sister location, U Massage, was an unacceptable display of being treated as a non-factor. I arrived on time for my 1:15 PM appointment and was proactively taken to a couples' room. When I noted the size of the room, Mia explicitly told me that the couples' room was being used as the singles' room for the day. Halfway through my session, I was interrupted and told I had to switch to a single room because a couple had arrived. Mind you a room that I had questioned from the onset. I was expected to get up mid-massage, wrap myself in a sheet while in my underwear, while Mia hurriedly gathered my belongings. A massage is a vulnerable and restorative experience; by forcing me to move mid-session, they completely stripped away the privacy and relaxation I paid for. What is most upsetting is the fact that management clearly thought this was an acceptable way to treat a paying customer. They chose to violate my privacy to fix their own error. Instead of asking the arriving couple to wait or finding an alternative, they "decided" my comfort was secondary. It is telling that they were happy to accept and of course expectant to receive my full payment and expect a tip despite treating me as disposable. I am rating this 2 stars specifically because the issue isn't just a bad experience--it is the fact that they clearly thought it was okay to treat me this way. This is a lesson in who and what is valued and It's obvious they could care less about losing a long-term customer, otherwise, they never would have handled the situation this way. But they have officially lost one. No amount of technical skill can make up for a business that devalues its customers and prioritizes them in such a rude and absurd manner. read more

Painful experience. The guy was too rough and his hands were calloused. I'm still in pain right now, after I repeatedly asked to apply less pressure and to slow down. Was not an enjoyable experience and will definitely not be back. read more

Bing deserves global recognition. All my knots worked out. This place is a gem. Gentle yet transformative massage! I cannot stress how amazing this place is. I've been getting massages all around the world and Bing is hands down, the best masseuse I've been to. I had terrible knots in my shoulders and I felt more relaxed. I really wanted to love this place because of the affordability & ability to get in for last-minute bookings, but it was a much different experience than I've had at any other massage studio, and not in a good way. We booked a couples massage--and while it's definitely the best rate in the area, I did not feel very relaxed. We were told we had a male & female for our session. I said this was fine because my husband didn't care who worked on him. However, I am much more comfortable with females for a massage, and they did NOT ask us who wanted which therapist, nor did they introduce themselves. They just started working on us while our faces were already down & I didn't know I had the male until he spoke. I was later uncomfortable turning over (hi, I'm topless!) and asked if he could turn around, but he just looked at me confused. There was no conversation before the massage to indicate what areas to focus on/avoid. I have chronic pain from a neck injury, so I need pretty gentle pressure around my neck & shoulders. Same goes for my husband and his back. When I asked my masseuse to "go gentle," he didn't understand me, though we eventually got to "too hard." I also had to ask about the massage oil used as I'm allergic to fragrance, and we had the same language barrier with that request. I almost feel like we both got a deep tissue massage- despite signing up for standard? Because of this, we were both incredibly sore for 2 days following the massage, which kinda defeated the purpose of this as a self-care activity to feel better. It was also a special treat for our anniversary, and I just wish I had known that I needed to advise the front desk attendant of our requests beforehand, as we could have had a much better experience. Moral of the story: if you need any specific accommodations, it will be very hard to communicate this to the staff, as they don't ask up front and some speak minimal English. Otherwise, if you just want an affordable massage in a clean facility & don't care about tailoring it to your needs, it's a great spot for you. The hot stones were awesome. read more
