There are no mirrors on the walls however - I wish they had them because then I can see if my form is correct. It's located in the center of a shopping center, with the door facing off to the side, so it's a bit tricky to find. It took me a while to locate it the first time I went. There's plenty of parking available, and Tierra Mia is at the end of the shopping center, so you can get yourself a treat after class like I did!

She was proud to show me her sun salutations after just a few classes. I was surprised to see her lower into a plank and hover above the floor with good alignment and focus. She was also excited to share the stories and songs she had learned as part of the practice such as singing about the sunshine or balancing a jewel on her forehead while participating in a guided meditation activity. As a former dancer and yoga teacher, I was impressed at how body conscious and healthy the instruction seemed to be while inspiring the children to feel the benefits and joy of yoga.

They can give you as much or as little instruction depending on what you like. I personally tell them to correct me as much as possible. I've been going now for almost a year and I have to say I finally tried all of the classes. Hot 26x2 , 90 min or 60 min is wonderful, and several instructors teach it and its nice because they all have a different style. The Pilates is new to me, and more challenging than I thought. I last tired the HIIT class, and OMY, that was challenging both because of the actual exercises and the heat! Tip: If you need a locker or shower they have it. Parking is never an issue and the teachers are flexible if you need to leave a bit early. So great to live near this community and to be able to have a studio in it! I am loving it!

The instructor came late, but immediately started the class and went into doing the routine. She was a really good instructor, and went over all the moves numerous times before moving on to the next set. I had a lot of fun, despite feeling old from being surrounded by teenagers. The facility itself is a bit run down. Bathroom had no toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, soap... nothing. I told the instructor and she went into her own car to get some Kleenex for me.. =(
