Would give zero if I could. Do not go there. My car was there for a month, 5k later, runs like crap, given back to me filthy inside, and didn't have the common sense to even put the door molding and the piece that goes over speaker back in place. It was left in trunk. I went for an alternator only, was called it was ready to pick up and the car was super low. Made them come out and look at it. Was told the piece broke while sitting there, ok. Already 2k in, kind of at their mercy, since I could not drive it like that. In the end bill was 5k. Absolutely ridiculous. Go to a dealer. You will pay less. read more

This is a huge SCAM! I went there for car inspection, after they checked the car, they told me it's failed and gave me a CRAZY repairing list, seems like everything needs to be repaired and it will cost me OVER $1800!!! However, my friend just help me replace the brake two months ago, I got BRAND NEW brake pads, and they still ask me to replace the brakes. I know where the problem is and might need to be repaired in the future, It is ridiculous that they did not find that real issue. This station is such a liar and scam. I went to another inspection station later on, they identified the only real issue, which also proves the US Automotive is a real scammer!!! I put the receipt here from these two stations. DO NOT GO HERE! It took them FIVE days to even give me an estimate. They told me I needed a transmission rebuild for $1200. Took it to another mechanic for a second opinion who told me I needed a new gear selector bushing and charged me $65!!!!! (Fixed the car, good as new) They are absolute CON ARTISTS here! 12/26/2012 I wanted to write a review about the exceptional service I received from Dave at US Automotive. He went above the call of duty to make sure my vehicle accessories were installed correct and safe. I am not affiliated in anyway with US Automotive, or Dave, this is my honest review. I hope it Helps others that are looking for an excellent mechanic shop, to check US Automotive out. I dropped off my brand new 2013 Chevy Silverado truck with the accessories that I needed installed at US Automotive. I have used Dave before and in my opinion he is the best when it comes to repairs and installs of accessories on vehicles. He is the only mechanic that will give you a play by play on the repairs or install and will never do anything without your permission. About an hour after I dropped the truck off I got a call from Dave giving me an update on the install of my gooseneck hitch. It was not going to well and he wanted to ask me if it was ok to remove my exhaust system to make the install easier. If it had been anyone else, I would have said no but since it was Dave I knew that nothing would get messed up so I said yes and he moved on. After a few hours, Dave called to notify me that the install of the gooseneck didn't seem to be right and the manufacturer was no help when he tried to call them. So I then called the manufacturer myself and after about 20 calls we determined that they sold me the wrong hitch. The funny part about this was that Dave had told the company when he spoke with them that he felt this hitch was not the correct one for my vehicle but they put the blame on everything else like most companies do today. I was also happy with the fact that Dave unbolted my bed to get the rails under the bed. The company questioned Dave on why he had done that and he responded by telling them there was no way that he was going to pry on his customers new bed to get these rails in. Remember anybody else would of smashed those rails in and not cared less if it damaged the truck fender and paint. Once we got the correct part Number they overnighted me a new hitch. Once Dave received the new hitch he told me that it was not going to work. At this point Dave really stepped in by calling the company until he finally spoke with the lead engineer. He told them that their plates where wrong and he had marked up where to holes should be. A few hours later the company went out and purchased two new Chevy Silverados 2500HD and 3500HD. The engineer called Dave back and told him that he was right the plates were wrong and would not bolt up to my frame. Once again, Dave went above and beyond and actually sketched out and measured out where the holes in the new plates should have been and made some suggestions to the engineer for improvements on the other stuff that he did not like. The worst part about this situation is if they had listened to Dave three weeks prior when he we started this process I would have had my truck back much sooner. Dave basically did all the work and engineering for this company so that I could have the correct plates on my truck and that it would be safe and look good. Once the plates arrived from the manufacturer they were right, thanks to Dave's design. I told Dave he could have patented the design since he basically gave it to the company and they are using it for the new 2013 Chevy designs. In the end, Dave wanted to make sure I was happy with the service he provided. Dave is also honest when things don't turn out perfect. After the install was done the company's middle section of the gooseneck where the hole goes through the bed had a section with a very thick weld, which was pushing a little on the bottom of my bed. Most people would never have seen it, but Dave said he had to tell me even though he knew I would probably never notice it. He treated the vehicle as if it was his own and I feel it turned out perfect. The best thing of all was the truck did not have one scratch, dent, ding, grease fingerprints nor did he mess up the truck's undercoating not even a scrap on it. All I can say is I was absolutely happy with the work that Dave did on my vehicle. Another plus was that Dave spoke with the engineer and he told him about how horrible they had treated us and gave us such a hard time which led to the company flipping the entire bill for me. Solid Family run business . Dave and Don and their wives work their tails off to provide the best service I have had on my diesel trucks . They take the time to inform you of options along the way and are on top of the latest changes in lubrication and equipment. The did a cummins conversion for me on my F350 when the 7.3 went bad . Best decision I made , runs like a top with over 5 K miles, absolutely no issues since it left their shop. This was the first one they ever did and it looks like factory right down to the wiring harness. Now they doing a Excursion Conversion for me.
