U.S. Bank is unlawfully holding our funds, denying escalation, and causing financial harm. We've been blocked from contacting anyone with authority. CFPB complaint filed. This is unacceptable. We have a small business account and the check that was deposited has been deposited by the same company the week prior and it was deposited fine. The worse experience ever, by far... Unprofessional signing, KEEP our Ids for 4 days, didn't even call us to let us know. We realized while out of town of course. NOW that I have HELOC... get a call from Loss Mitigation to call them.. Sounds Important Right... Literally on phone now for 38 minutes on HOLD with no end in sight. IS it important? Is it not? I joined recently opening a Gold Checking account. I apparently made a mistake. I was issued an ATM card that was temporary until my permanent one arrived. The account permanent though. Over the weekend I went slightly under my balance because the bank would allow me to deposit cash from the ATM. Checks I understand. I could withdraw but they don't accept cash? I tried two locations. It was a $20 issue give or take. Not to US Bank. It was a money grab, a ghetto move. They applied $72 in fees even though I was at the branch Monday to square it up. They treated me as a criminal almost. That is customer service at it's best. I'm a new customer, doesn't matter. Dey gotta get ders. Stay far away unless you hate your $. read more

Do not bank with these people. If you do, run! This is the only US Bank left in Folsom for a reason. I predict it will be gone soon. The Assistant Vice President, Bank Manager, Zarook Shihan is highly inefficient, and incompetent. Our account was never set up correctly. Obviously, they didnt know what they were doing and had to return several times over the years for mishandling. The final straw after responding several times and continuing to request information from us, they closed our account, mailing checks to us saying we didnt meet their deadline which hadn't even been reached yet. He had my wife's phone number and email, but wouldn't communicate with her while I was out of town, and out of phone service, after he agreed to. Meanwhile our auto drafts fail to clear. This bank is a MESS! Sent ID, checks, paperwork etc through the drive through chute and sat for close to twenty minutes. Second time this has happened! I finally gave up and drove around to the parking lot and walked in. Got up to the counter right away but still had to wait a long time for them to come back only to tell me they didn't have enough money to cash my check!! The employees are friendly enough here, but there are some serious management / organizational issues here. Every time I come in, no matter what day or time, it's never a surprise to wait in line forever. There is always just one teller working, and a line of 10 customers waiting. Wish they would at least have two tellers working at the same time. Some people don't have a bunch of time to waste when they need to make a quick withdraw or deposit. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. I had to close a checking account and the banker informed me that she would not be able to provide me their "required" form (and they had no notaries on staff). She recommended that I either go see an attorney for the form or go on-line and look for it. I went to other bank I work with to get a copy of the form. (That bank also notarized it for me). When I returned to US Bank with the notarized form, a different banker told me that they did have that form there. After waiting another 45 minutes, I walked out with my check. I have been a US Bank customer for almost 4 years they have always been courteous and quick to assist their customers. Then I went to this branch and there were 2 tellers working and one of them was helping a business acct customer she was with him the whole 20 minutes I stood in line with always at least 6 customers.
