Their supposedly free notaries have very little availability and you have to make an appointment which is hard to even get ahold of them and will just forget you if their time availability doesn't work with you. Went in on a Saturday at 3:35 to open a checking account and the bank was completely empty. When I asked to open, the girl at her desk who appeared to just be scrolling the internet said she didn't have enough time to help me since they were closing in 25 minutes. It was as if I was bothering her and when I asked her why she could not help me with almost 1/2 hour left, she just said I can make an appointment for you, but can't help you now. I was honestly in shock as she was rude and it didn't phase her that it was turning money away from Chase. So needless to say, I will be taking my banking my elsewhere. Went in this morning to just do a normal withdrawal. There were like 4 other customers waiting to go inside to do transactions. But one of the associates yelled out, "we're going to be late opening." When are they never late? Most of the time they're late opening. Lazy workers, they want to get paid but do half work. Should have got up earlier. read more

Best bank ever! Very helpful and understanding w/ my concern regarding on my bank account. I must say, they are quite professional how they handle it. And when depositing money too on the counter... I am surprised that the lines are quite really short unlike Bank Of America where lines are long and just blah... Chase, keep it up! This Chase branch should be closed with customers routed to the Chase on Riley St. The bank employees would not provide the business card for the 'supervisor' so that I could share my terrible experience with corporate. While I was speaking on the 800 chase customer line, there were several actions that the 800 line customer service mentioned that the branch employees could have taken. Each of these actions, the 'supervisor' chose not to do. The branch manager was conveniently not available. For those looking for customer service, do NOT go to the Bidwell location. They don't give you their names, so you can make complaints on them and they certainly do not provide good customer service! read more

A not so good experience at this branch of Chase. The ATM machine was down from before 8 a.m. (on a Wednesday) through the time I entered the bank (about 9:40 a.m.). So the lines were long and moving slowly since, while there seemed to be plenty of employees inside the bank, there was only one teller. Handling business transactions and any other regular customers. Deployment of staff would seem to be one issue. Maintenance of the single ATM machines would be another. read more

Could not close my CD account this morning. Vice president Sergio Gonzales told me to make an appointment with banker and would not let me inside. He was rude acted unproffessionaly. Did not have time / desire to discuss it with me any further. I called different brunch and was told that any teller could help with this. Eather he has no idea or could not care at all. read more

I was made to feel like a number - an insignificant customer. I've been a customer for just over 4 years. I went in to this center to ask about ordering my first and only order of checks. I was told it would cost $20. I asked if I could have it complimentary to which I was shown a bank "menu" that showed checks cost money. The manager, Joy, told me my account wasn't hers and doesn't belong to her "GL" so she was not willing to waive the check cost. She told me to call another branch because it wasn't her account. Really?? I asked for clarification to which she said "you work for Another bank right?" I'm assuming she knew this based on what my customer profile says. I responded that I work for another company and that I wasn't sure what that had to do with anything regarding my experience as a customer. I visited again and said the manager of the other branch never called me back. She was unapologetic and never offered to help nor make it right. I felt like I was bothering her every time I spoke to her. Joy made me feel worthless as a customer. I'll be ending my relationship with Chase ASAP because of her and so will my girlfriend. read more

Walked in to make deposits just a little before noon. No one was at the front. I could hear people chatting away in the back. Stood there with my two year old son, looking around and two other customers were being helped over by the cubicles. Not one person greeted or said anything. I don't see how you don't notice someone walking in or hear anything..?? Someone finally came out from the back after about 5-10 minutes and said," oh I didn't see you come in". She was helpful and friendly, only reason I'm not giving this place a 1 star. Unfortunately this is my go-to Chase as it's just a two minute drive from our house. A bit frustrated. I had a personal check I needed cashing. I called the Chase in Cameron Park and I was told if I deposited it in the ATM I could withdraw $100-200 Immediately. And the rest the next day. I knew this because I've done it before.So I deposited it. The ATM would not give me any cash. I called the Cameron Park branch and was told they didn't know why I couldn't withdraw cash. They said go to the East Bidwell Folsom location. So I called them numerous times. No one available. I don't want to go all the way down there because I am at home risk due to the Covid19. So I have a choice. Take a risk and go down to Folsom or wait for my money. I know for now on to just go cash my checks at the banks they are issued from. read more

There could be 1 other car in the parking lot, and magically the line inside is packed. The service is very slow, but the tellers are friendly. I'm very tired of being told that I can deposit checks through the ATM, or that I could complete my transaction with the mobile app. Do you guys realize that by suggesting those things, you're going to eventually be replaced by an ATM? I'll continue to deposit inside, when I'm in the area. I want the friendly tellers to be able to keep their jobs. read more

This bank is so unprofessional! The teller gave out MY address which is MY personal information which is illegal. I also had alerts previously put up on my account that stated to never give out my information to anyone but myself. No family, anything. I was concerned about getting a large amount of money over within a short period of time because I needed it to close escrow. I spoke to Joy and she was very helpful. She was very willing to assist with verifying funds were sent over. Last time there was a 10 day hold, but this time it was available next day at noon. I have two wonderful experiences with Chase and the staff at the Folsom East Bidwell branch I want to tell everyone about. First: I recently moved all of my banking accounts to Chase. Bryan Palmer helped me out at the branch and took care of setting up all of my new checking and savings accounts. He was amazing to work with and just made everything so easy. Every time I go in to the branch he and the rest of the staff treat me like a special customer and know me by name. I *highly* recommend Chase, specifically the Folsom Branch on East Bidwell, and of course Bryan Palmer for all of your banking needs. Second: I just sold and purchased homes with overlapping closes. I'd planned on using a local mortgage broker but after entering in to contact on my new home, I found Chase had a better rate and offered 1% cash back. The only concern I had with switching my plans to Chase was I now had only 20 days to close. I contacted the branch and because of my rush, the staff gave Jason Clark's (Lending Manager) mobile number. Jason immediately returned my call and after talking about my specifically situation for a few minutes, assured me he could very likely meet the deadline. I made the switch to Chase and so began a very nervous 3 weeks for me. Turns out, I had no need to be nervous as Jason was nothing short of awesome! He took care of everything, even details ahead of time just in case they came up. He stayed in constant contact with my and my agent, something I greatly appreciated. Within just over a week, I was cleared to close and when my existing home sold, he worked with me to close on the new home within a couple of days. Everything went as planned and Jason made it very easy. He even took my call very late one night when I was out shopping for furniture and i wanted to make sure it was ok (loan wise) to use my credit card. I know some people say "big banks" can't move fast and maybe some people's specific details call for more time, but Jason proved at least he and Chase and do what I thought just might be impossible for a while there. I'm writing this in my new home, thank you Jason! If you are in Folsom, CA (or the general area) and you are looking for a mortgage lender, you should pick up the phone or go in to the Chase branch on East Bidwell and see Jason right now.
