1 STAR -- I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND…read more My first interaction with this business was exceptional. Unfortunately, just TWO DAYS later, the nightmare began. I purchased a reconditioned battery for $75. I understood that a reconditioned battery probably wouldn't last a year, and I accepted that risk. I just expected it to last longer than TWO DAYS. I was simply trying to get by until my next paycheck, but instead, I learned a $75 lesson. When I returned with the battery and explained to the same clerk who sold it to me that it would not hold a charge, I was told that in order to use the warranty, they would first have to charge the battery--which would take ALL DAY--then test it, and only if they determined it was defective could they replace it. That information should have been clearly explained BEFORE I made the purchase. Had I been told upfront that using the "warranty" meant leaving the battery there all day to be charged and tested before they would even consider replacing it, I would have spent the extra money and purchased a NEW battery instead. This is where I believe this business is failing its customers. Simply telling someone, "You have a 3/6-month warranty," is NOT the same as explaining what that warranty actually entails. There was nothing clearly explained on my receipt either. After reading some of the other negative reviews, I can understand why customers are frustrated. Transparency at the time of purchase could prevent a lot of these issues. A battery lasting TWO DAYS is unacceptable, reconditioned or not. And a warranty isn't very reassuring when the process for actually using it isn't explained until AFTER there's a problem. $75 lesson learned. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I cannot count the number of Odyssey batteries I've bought from WCB over the last 23 years. These…read moreseem to be the highest quality I have been able to find for all my units including cars, trucks and especially for generators. The batteries aren't super happy with being stored at damaging low voltage, but last fantastically if properly cared for. WCB is super helpful in what you need to do to be a responsible high-end battery owner. For one, you need at least an 8 amp charger to care for an Odyssey Extreme Series battery. My latest purchase was a little tiny PC1200 to replace the one that fits in my 1949 Dodge truck. The original battery lasted only 10 years! It was finally killed by a 1 year neglect due to Covid 19. I think this is a pretty good testimony and I'm happy to pay whatever it takes to restore that kind of reliability. I have never had a problem with a short life of an Odyssey battery. I have had them die due to neglect, but if fully charged, they will be OK for a year. If Odyssey has one that fits my needs, I will only buy their Odyssey Extreme Series batteries and definitely prefer WCB. I have never had a problem with WCB. I appreciate their pricing. They're the best! Very highly recommended to consumers that need a highest reliability battery and outstanding customer service.

And when I got there They had no history of me, even calling. This last occurrence , I called early in the morning, gave a Vin number gave a perfect description of my truck. I was told that the part was in stock. I was told over the phone that the part would be put on hold for me. Gave my cell phone number when I got there later on that evening again they had no history of me calling no apart was on order or in stock. Had to to repeat myself a number of times to the guy at the counter. Not sure if he's hard of hearing or just doesn't pay attention. Long story short. Finally got my part. Took it home and it didn't match the original OEM. So now I'm having to go back to the store and get a refund. And now calling the dealer and spend a few hundred dollars more going through them. And unfortunately they don't have it, so having to get it through their manufacture, which is gonna be another week. What upsets me The most is that my truck. One employee eventually acknowledged me and said it wouldn't be a problem, just asked for a couple minutes to finish with another customer. I said no problem at all. About 30 minutes later, once he was finally done, instead of coming back to help me, he went to the opposite register and started chatting and laughing with another employee and a customer. I stood there waiting until I finally had to walk over and ask if he was going to help me. His response was, "Oh yeah, I totally forgot about you." That is extremely unprofessional to who ever has the slick back hair.! Especially for such a simple service. I understand being busy, but completely forgetting a customer and socializing instead is not acceptable. Very disappointing experience!!

That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to find these days. Justin, thank you for your professionalism, integrity, and kindness. You've definitely earned my trust, and I'll be coming back to this Geek Squad for any future computer needs. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: i went to a different best buy location and i was able to return my tv for a FULL REFUND. they didn't give me any issues with the return an didn't ask about the missing part whatsoever! they saw that the tv was in brand new condition and returned it. that goes to show that this location is clearly just problematic and they hire rude people who have no customer service skills at all. AVOID GOING TO THIS LOCATION! save yourself the trouble and just visit a different store all together.
