I am writing this review to document a deeply offensive and unprofessional experience at the O'Reilly Auto Parts location in Norco, CA. My husband went to this store to replace a battery that is under an unlimited warranty. The employee on duty refused to honor the warranty and told him to take the battery and leave the store. When my husband stated that he also wanted to purchase additional items, the employee told him he was denying him service altogether. What made this situation completely unacceptable was that the employee then made an explicit, obscene hand gesture toward my husband, simulating a sexual act, and again told him to take his battery and leave. There was no aggressive or inappropriate behavior on my husband's part that would justify denying service or acting this way. This conduct was shocking, disrespectful, and far below what we expect from a professional business. We are local residents and have never ever had any business, manager on top of that, be so completely disrespectful to local residents. I hope this location and corporate management take this seriously and address it appropriately. read more

Heading out of town and first good rain of the season and my wipers blades decides to disintegrate. Immediately, took the first exit and found O'Reilly. I looked the wiper catalog for my specific car and found the Rain-X brand that would fit my car. When I went to purchase this, Bryan was courteous and offered to help me installed the wipers on this rainy day. I usually would install this myself, but decided to take his offer. Bryan quickly discovered that the Rain -X didn't have the attachment that is needed for my wipers, so he went back to find one that would be more appropriate on their shelves. He couldn't find one on the shelves and then check his computer and found one. He went to the back in his stock room to look for the part number and didn't find it, but found one that looks like it would work. Apparently, it was the correct blades just had the wrong part number on the packaging. He was so excited to find it and I was so thankful that was persistent in finding it. This is an example of an employee who goes over and beyond to help a customer. He truly enjoys his and enjoys helping people. There needs to be more people like him. Make sure to ask for Bryan when you stop at this location. read more

Everytime I go there I get great service and the staff r extremely helpful. I went to pep boys b4 here and they wanted to charge 90 bucks to put head lights in not including the part. When I went to o'reillys the part for 2 head lights was 53 and they put them in for free and took 5 minutes max. I will only go here from now on. read more

Need more employees. Just came from Autozone who had 3, I'm in here returning a battery and trying to get my deposit back on a/c recharge tank and they're making it impossible. As matter of fact they won't honor my a/c charge bottle because the sku changed since last summer. Take a lap O Reilly. Also, the manager on staff is lazy and not helping the 1 rookie employee. Line keeps building up and the kid has to go find the manager to ask him questions. Now they're claiming the posts are dirty on my optima battery even though the battery looks brand new because it basically is as it sat in a garage doing nothing for 14 months. Ridiculous. He was so friendly and patient and helpful and educated in the products in the store. A few weeks ago my 2015 Hyundai sonata 156k miles needed both front axles replaced was quoted $1300 at the dealership. So decided to replace myself with some help So I have a friend at Napa auto parts was able to find me the front driver side only for some reason he could not locate the front passenger side. Stopped by the O'Reilly auto parts off of Hammer in corona and they crushed my expectations . They were the only company locally that actually had one in stock although it was actually in Moreno Valley I paid for it at 9 AM and they had it delivered to the store by noon. Couple hours later both axles were replaced and the car runs great total cost was like $320 for both I have become a fan O'Reilly and recommend the corona location for any of your auto parts needs read more

Went down to pick it up the next day and told the man and woman working there what we wanted and they laughed at us. They said they don't carry that battery for that price. I stopped by for the first time yesterday to buy a phone holder for my dash. As soon as I walked through the door, I was pleasantly greeted and the place looked spotless.... A very good first impression. As I wandered for a couple of seconds, I was asked if I can be helped to find something. I was then led to the proper isle and was explained the difference between each phone holder option. Due to the thorough explanation, I quickly decided on a magnetic option, paid, and left the store. But not before being thanked for stopping by and having a great rest of my day. I usually come here when I need auto parts they have great prices and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Case and point: I went in the other day to buy a can of AC/pro bc I thought my car needed charged. However, when I checked the car did not need a charge at all and Adrian was helpful and honest enough to let me know that I didn't need to purchase the AC/pro and promptly refunded my money. Adam is very disrespectful to the women he works with. While one of the ladies was helping me she asked him to help us and he pointed us to a wall of air filters and told us to take them all out and figure it out ourselves. He continually ignored her as she was calling his name. I was very disappointed and felt ignored as a customer by someone who was obviously able to help with the situation but was just refusing. The worst experience from an auto parts store!! They no nothing about Dodge trucks, for 3 days in a row they ordered the wrong parts then after the 4th day say that the job can't be done at home and would need a professionals help. The guy they recommended doesn't even know what he's doing. Now 1 week later with the so called help from a professional mechanic my boyfriends truck is still disassembled to only have him say he'll try to return tomorrow to finish the job. So bottom line if you need REAL assistance with parts or finding a qualified mechanic DO NOT USE these guys. Lots of money lost right before X-mas. I walked in and asked the girl "do you have Bug Guards for the front of the car"? She took me to the aisle that had liquid Bug remover, car wash, etc. I said "no, the plastic thing that attaches to the front hood of the car". A guy at the register motioned and told her where they were. They didn't have the one for my vehicle or very many for that matter. I followed her to the register, she ordered me one and said they'd call me when it's in. Several days later I called to see if it was in. The guy said "it had arrived, but we sent it back to the warehouse because you didn't pick it up". I said "I was told I'd get a call when it comes in, I never got a call, can you reorder it for me"? He said "yes it will be here tomorrow". I picked it up several days later as I do not live in the area and only pass by once in awhile. The item was sitting on the back counter. The girl rang it up (after I asked her to double check it was the for my vehicle). I got home opened the package and thought that it was a lot of pieces. Once I got all pieces out I read on the box "Rain Guard". Omg, they had ordered Rain Guards (for the windows) not Bug Guards (for the hood). I called the next day and explained the situation. The person said it would be in @ 6pm. I picked it up 2 days later (since I'm not in the area) and verified it was the correct product and then asked if they could install it for me as a "customer service courtesy". The guy n girl at the register said they couldn't do it and ("we aren't that kind of store"). I asked again stating "it was an inconvenience, I had to drive to the store several times and if you can't help me then I want my money back from the Rain Guards, will go buy the Bug Guards at Pep Boys and will Yelp". The Manager walked up and I explained the situation. He also said they couldn't put the Big Guard on for me. I told him the same about Yelping, etc and it didn't seem to phase him one bit. I ordered the Bug Guards from Amazon, it came 2 days later and was $20 cheaper. Someone at the store could have apologized for my inconvenience, but they all acted like it was the norm. I got my rotor turned here a while back and they turned them to fast witch left large groove so I took them back and had them do it again and they mounted the rotor crooked in the machine so it cut a wobble in the rotor and I installed them rotors and test drove and it gave my brakes a vibration so I had to buy new rotors and they gave my money back but asked me to never come back again lol don't use this o Reilly read more

I came in because my check engine light was on. I was greeted by an employee, Marvin, who was extremely friendly right off the bat. I asked him if they did the test for the check engine, and he said unfortunately they did not. However, he recommended a place where I could get the test done and even called the place to let them know I was coming in. The rains finally came to California in December and I had wipers that left streaks. I stopped at O'Riellys and picked up the sizes I needed. I have always replaced the wipers myself and it always takes me 30-45 minutes to figure it out. There are 3 different ways to correctly attach them depending on your car. Even for the same vehicle I forget a year later how to do it again, but today the sales clerk waited on a person in front of me and went out to change them for her. Then he came back rung my the wipers and asked me do I need help to change them out? I remarked yes please and he took all of 5 minutes to do the 2 in front and the rear wiper as well. All in far less time it would have taken me to do 1. I very much appreciate their superior customer service. read more
