Have used this cleaners to dry clean evening gowns, work clothes, and carpets. Had a good experience.

Interesting set of reviews, but most are old. I've been using this cleaner for about a year, since Jeannette's closed. I've only brought shirts and white lab coats, but they have done a consistently good job on all of them. Yes, it's expensive, but it's convenient, and I don't know for a fact that anybody else is significantly cheaper. read more

Overpriced- prices are not posted on receipt nor webpage. I have used them for a while now and service was impeccable. However, recently they have stained two pants and claimed it went in that way. Last time they told me I had already picked up remaining clothes- took them a day to find my misplaced items. Definitely not coming back. read more

I have been going here for 6 plus years and have been impressed with both expertise and service. 0 stars. Terrible customer service! My husband dropped off a shirt and suit there. When he went to pick everything up, the woman at the front handed him the wrong shirt. My husband figured it was a simple mistake that would be easily solved- WRONG! After my husband explained it was not his shirt, the woman insisted it was his because the numbers matched on the card. My husband again politely responded that while the numbers matched, it was not his shirt and there must have been a mix-up. He asked if the woman could find his shirt. His shirt was a medium and this was an X-large and a different brand. Again the woman insisted it was his and told him repeatedly to take the shirt. When he asked again for her to look for his shirt, she shuffled through the two pieces of clothing next to his on the rack and again insisted for him to take the shirt. When he said it's not his and not even his size her response was "it's someone in your families. Maybe they dropped off." He told her he dropped off the clothing. Not only did the woman not admit to her mistake nor correct the error, she kept insisting my husband take another customer's shirt. My husband refused to steal another persons clothing and left empty-handed with only the suit in tow. (Which he was still charged for). Do NOT trust these people with your clothing. This business is an absolute disgrace. We will never be back. read more

ZERO stars. I wish I didn't even have to give 1 in order to type this. This place does NOT know how to hem and alter clothing and dresses. Also, they are SO EXPENSIVE. I went to get a bridesmaids dress altered (she charges me $80 for about an inch off bottom and off side) and she rushed through the fitting & measuring- I was in my dress for maybe 30 seconds total before she told me she was done. I picked it up 4 days later and it was extremely tight on me but I didn't have the time to get it corrected. I gave the business the benefit of the doubt that it was just a mistake and one-time thing, and went again to get another bridesmaids dress hemmed and altered a few weeks later (charged $90 this time!). She, again, rushed through my fitting & measuring. When I picked it up, the dress was AT LEAST a size TOO SMALL on me and wouldn't zip up my back. I told her how upset I was and she tried to tell me that it wasn't too tight and she kept aggressively trying to get the zipper up. I told her she needed to take it out a lot and she sighed at me. I came back the next day and tried it on again, where it was still very tight. I proceeded to explain to her that I could barely breathe and that I was uncomfortable and she raised her voice at me and told me it wasn't tight and it fit me fine. I was so upset at this point that I just wanted to leave and never go back. I asked her for some of my money back and she told me "No no no" and didn't even apologize for her mistake(s) or for the fact that I was visibly upset because I not only spent a lot of money on the dresses but the alteration charges were ridiculously expensive for what I was receiving. Horrible business etiquette, rude woman! Needless to say I am never stepping foot in this place again. Bring your alterations elsewhere!!!!!! read more

I was very disappointed in my experience at US Cleaners. I wanted to love it because it's so close to my house, but the service I received was horrifying. They ruined my sweater (the fabric was so thin in parts that it was transparent). This is not the first time this has happened to me at various other cleaners, I guess that comes with the territory, but it was how they handled the situation that was troubling. I brought the sweater back and explained the issue. The man there told me that it was my fault, and that they were spots from wear. I explained to him that I wouldn't have had the sweater cleaned if that is what it looked like, I would have thrown it out. Why would I pay to clean a sweater that is ruined? He continued to argue with me and raised his voice (as did I because I was so aggravated with this "customer service"). My final comment to him was that I would never be coming back. His reply, " I was going to pay your claim, but since you are not coming back, I won't". Great service! You will not do the right thing unless you will continue to get my patronage! I would rather never interact with that man again than receive the $20 claim he probably would have offered me for the $100 sweater he destroyed. My recommendation is that anyone in the area try one of the many other options of cleaners around. I've tried Airport Cleaners on Passaic Ave.(across from the airport) since then and loved it, and their prices are better. read more
