I've never hugged a tailor before. Until I met Angel at Tony's Tailor. So look... I'll be honest…read morethat I didn't have a good experience with Tony when he owned the place, but Tony's retired. Angel, the new owner, is a magician with suits, and he's very reasonably priced for basic tailoring like waists and pant legs. I've invested in really nice business suits over the years, but I recently lost about 30 pounds. As a custom tailor, Angel was able to take apart my suits and make them look they were custom made for my new body: * Pants waist * Remove pants pleats (amazing!!!) * Reduce shoulder width (amazing!!!) * Jacket chest and mid-section * Adjusting jacket sleeve length for perfect shirt sleeve peek-out I originally thought such extensive alterations wouldn't be worth the money and I would have to buy all new clothes, but I was surprised by Angel's estimate. He was able to advise which suits were worth saving, and the alterations ended up costing a quarter to the third of the cost of a new suit. Plus, these suits look better than ever on me. He also took care of all my chinos, jeans and slacks for much less than all the other tailors in town. Some of the reviews here are misleading because they include several from when Tony was the owner. Say hello to the new tailor. Not like the old tailor.

I recently dropped off a vintage slip dress to Dino and Anna's to get it taken in. I was really…read morenervous because the material is very delicate and I planned on wearing it to my birthday dinner. Anna took in the dress PERFECTLY and I couldn't have been happier. The turnaround was also very fast. I dropped it off on a Friday evening right before closing, and it was ready on the following Tuesday while I was out of town for work. I picked it back up that Friday when I got back, just one day before my dinner, and it was perfection. I'll definitely be taking more pieces to them! The inside lining of the coat is a bright orange and the outside is a military green canvas. The lining was browned and so dark around the neck it was gross. I hadn't worn it for a while and decided to take it here. It's amazing at how clean they got this thing. My god. The inside looks new again. I'm so happy to have my nice winter jacket back!
