Very reasonable price for a 50 year old machine with hard to find parts. When he failed to have machine ready 7 days later he gave me a 20% discount for being 1 day late. Part required were new at an extremely reasonable price. Amen to Griselda's review about customer service. As a customer, I don't care about your issues with staffing. I'd like to know turn around time. I don't care if you are by yourself now. I'd like to know if I drop my machine off; is there an expectation as to when you may look at it. Perhaps an eta for when you would expect to be able to check out my machine. I truly don't care that you have a line of people, you probably should have planned better or not answered the phone for a customer that probably has a question that will require your attention and ultimately take away your attention from said line you are complaining about. John is a magician. He knows vintage sewing machines and in my discussions with him I have learned so much! He has ready supplies whether belts or bobbins or bed cushions, can whip open your foot pedal and spruce it up in a few minutes. Prices are extremely reasonable. If he doesn't have a part he will order it for you. He fixed up my Elna Lotus which had a broken hook gear but had to be re-fashioned since they don't make this machine which is Swiss anymore.
