Yes, the tool only cost around $120, but I'll gladly pay someone $75 to sharpen the countless edges and keep my hedger operating beautifully. Last week, I went to have my small chain electric lopper adjusted and had the pleasure of working with Jorge who made the adjustment and suggested maintenance steps. He pointed out that the tool was not appropriate for my needs and suggested a model carried by the store. I picked up the new light duty battery chain saw today and despite being very busy, one of the owners came out and allowed us to try out the tool. This greatly alleviated my trepidation about this power tool. He made gentle suggestions to me to improve safe handling of the tool and patiently showed me how to oil and adjust it. They have competent mechanics and do good work. They have a slow turn around because they are busy but I have no problem with that. The main problem I have with them is the lack of follow through. On two separate occasions I ordered parts for my tools and never received them. I had to call several times and eventually had to go back in and get a refund. read more

Absolutely outstanding service. I brought my lawnmower in to get a new pull rope put on. Not only did they do that, but they found two other things that were significantly wrong with the mower, fixed them, sharpened the blade, and did it all while I waited! And it only cost about $75!! The guys were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would go back there in a heartbeat. Oh, by the way--they let me watch the repairs! 'Took my perfectly good working lawnmower there to sharpen and asked them to splice the extentsion cord I used with it too. When I got the mower back it was barely sharpened but worse, they had ruined the motor buy mis-splicing teh cord so that when I plufgged it in it shorted out and broke the mower! ' Ended up having to buy a new mower. Also,they promised the repair in a week and took 3... and still charged me $30 even thought the mower was destroyed by them! read more
