HERE IS MY IMPOUND STORY AND HOW EVERYONE IN THE REVIEWS NEEDS TO TAKE PROPER ACTION. I contacted the news and the local authorities as well as my attorney. My car was towed Friday and I got it Monday morning. I read the reviews once I thought my car was stolen and knew what to expect thank god BUT it's worse in person and I have them on voice RECORDING INCRIMINATING THEMSELVES. They have not updated policies since their old owner DESPITE there being new laws adopted within broome county regarding towing regulations. I will attach the document which I handed directly to the manager Marissa. Despite the entire place as a whole being rude and corrupt. I feel terrible for the owner who took who over her husbands company when he passed. BUT she knows nothings about the business she's in as it is not her specialty and it is her husbands. She is a money hungry and heartless old lady who only cares about her dog (that lives there and looks abused ) and somehow is still affiliated with the police cause they lie about their policies. I can guarantee you she (the current owner) does not have her towing business license/ permit in her name. She has no idea the damage MARISSA THE NASTY MANAGER WITH NO COLLEGE EDUCATION IS DOING ( she pretends to know the law ) but when I handed her local law amend chapter 341-9 of broome county she said she has never seen that in her life and refuses to read and proceeded to pressure me into paying if I "need my car" and don't want to be charged for another day SO I PAID BY PROTEST ( which I wrote all over my receipt ) I would think a towing company would hire someone with some sort of law background or at least a high school education or the basic knowledge of knowing you are not above the law despite how pushy and rude you are. I am a 20 yr old college student who paid 700$ for a weekend and I am fortunate enough to know a lawyer. I had no access to my car on the weekend. I documented each day I was there attempting to get my car. They charged me for fees that were made up. They charged me a gate fee aka "after hours" fee meanwhile I went there the second they opened up on Monday and not after hours. They towed my car 1 mile away and charged me 185 on tow fee alone and 400$ for the storage days. 75$ dmv search fee. Legally you can only charge for storage per BUSINESS DAY, but in person they tell you they have chose to go by CALENDAR DAY. ITS NOT YOUR CHOICE. This corrupt company ran by ida, marissa, and the owner should not have the authority that they have to prey on college students and make sure to STEAL cars on a Friday so they ILLEGALLY charge for the days you cannot get your car, AND YOU CAN ONLY PAY IN CASH BUT THEY CHARGE YOU 8% TAX ON YOUR TOTAL which is also illegal. Also, be prepared for it to be 10 vs you because the tow truck drivers have nothing better to but watch like it's a reality tv show AND add snark comments as if they are being spoken to. I felt as if they all auditioned and practiced their role and they throw parties + split all the cash once they get their money. I have always used U-Save Towing they have always treated me well and at a good price the one time that I thought they had forgotten me had nothing to do with, but it was the insurance company had not bothered to call them and left me sitting in the heat for over two hours. When I called back to find out what happened the insurance company admitted that they had forgotten to call U-Save. Everyone one of the drivers have been professional and very polite. read more

My $185 impound from a few months ago became $800+ in a matter of three days (I could not retrieve my Toyota Prius over a weekend as per their policy) took only cash in payment and refused credit card payments and still charged tax. This is giving a massive hint at the fact that there is clearly a money laundering tax fraud situation going on. Indiscriminate fees all over. Storage fees was only about 80 dollars a day and no way does 3 days add up to 800+. Absolutely predacious. That was a big dent on my accounts, I work a blue collar job and do not make that much money. There will be a call made to the Attorney General of New York. Also, the absolute and most diabolical white lady of Binghamton works here, as a matter of fact, the most diabolical of the whole Southern Tier. I believe her name was Marisa but she had the most sassiest attitude with the congenital defects of the face. Horrible makeup and attitude, avoid her at all costs if you want a more pleasant experience. She was extremely unhelpful and dismissive of questions. These people are the absolute scum of the earth and I don't know how they sleep at night. Will tow all weekend and not let you pick up your car until Monday, but will charge you every day they have the car still. When we were in the office we overheard the old grumpy secretary tell a customer "That will be $380" and then heard a man say "eh make it $400". They refuse to provide a service list and cost breakdown because they are lying scamming criminals. When confronting the owner about this she acted shocked as if there haven't been these same complaints happening for the past 5 years. Miserable Failure! Look elsewhere! DO NOT SUPPORT this terrible company! You've been warned. This company is the absolutely worst rental/towing company to deal with. They have no qualms about taking advantage of customers. They don't allow personal checks and you can't use a credit card if it was a police recovery! Credit card transactions are approved when swiped. What is the risk? They overcharge. They can't give a full explanation why it cost $400 to tow an RV less than 20 miles one way. That, my friends, is $20 a mile. AAA charges $3. Then you get a $110 storage fee for up to one day and a lot fee on top of that for $35. Since they take only cash in many instances, I'm pretty sure that may explain their mega truck fleet. A contract with the county would be pretty lucrative. READ THIS BEFORE GOING THERE!!!! Worst place to go to get your car worked on. The are manipulative and take advantage of females. When asked to speak to the boss. This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. I am just DISGUSTED by this company I don't understand why they are still in business. They are very rude and unprofessional. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!!!! My husband misplaced the key to the rental...we thought it was locked inside the vehicle so we called our roadside through our personal car insurance. We got a text message at 11:14pm that the locksmith was suppose to arrive at 11:55pm. He didn't show up until almost 12:20am. He was able to unlock the vehicle but, unfortunately the key wasn't in there every time you opened up the car door the alarm would go off so he decided to unplug the battery (on his own ... it wasn't requested). Next day had another company try to make a key for the vehicle, but because the battery was unplugged it messed something up with the programming so a new key couldn't be made. The rental company requested for us to tow the vehicle to the Binghamton Airport where we can switch out the vehicles but they closed at 1pm. U-Save was contacted again by my personal car insurance to do the tow. Got a text at 11:14am with ETA for tow would be 11:55am. 12:05pm and still no sign of the tow, so I called the company to ask where the tow was. As I'm on the phone, she puts me on hold for 5 minutes and hangs up. I call back. She apologizes that there was a mix up on their end, CONFIRMED that she saw the request from my insurance company for the tow, and that she was sending the tow right away and it will be there in 15 minutes and she promises they will be able to get the vehicle to the airport on time. I decided to head to the airport while my husband stayed behind waiting for the tow. At 12:35pm My husband tells me still no tow. So I call the company yet again asking for the ETA of the tow. She then tells me that they got the call from my insurance only 20 minutes ago so they were now just sending a tow truck. I advised her that I called twice already asking about the tow and also it was already confirmed that they received the request from my insurance company. I stated "I don't know what you need to do but it is now 12:35pm ... I need that vehicle towed by 1pm" she puts me on hold and then another woman comes on the line very rude and aggressively "Ma'am your insurance didn't contact us until 20 minutes ago so blame your insurance." I told her that was a lie because I called twice before asking where the tow was and that was never said to me that there was an issue with my insurance. When I contacted my car insurance originally to set the request, the rep contacted the towing company while I was on the phone to set up the tow. I told her that I needed the vehicle at the airport by 1pm. She continued to pin it on the car insurance. So then i stated again "i don't know what you need to do but i need that vehicle there by 1pm" She hung up on me. I contacted the company again, requested to speak to a manager. The same very rude woman comes on the line and says "are you going to speak to me nice now?!" I asked her "you're the manager?" She says "yup!" I requested to speak with someone higher than her because why in the world would i want to speak to a "manager" that has NO customer service what a ever and "resolves" issues by HANGING UP on customers. The tow person FINALLY shows up at 12:45pm but the rental company told me it was too late they wouldn't get there in time to have the vehicle towed to Syracuse. So not ONLY I couldn't get a replacement key because someone from this company decided to unplug the battery but now I had to PAY to get the vehicle towed to Syracuse because my car insurance only covered up to 20 miles. At this point I am completely annoyed. I meet up with my husband and the guy from the tow says "I'm sorry I am so late...they sent me to do 2 other jobs before this one." Apart of me feels like they were scamming me... they pushed it back so far to make more money from me. As if the stress of losing the rental key and having to pay a big fine already to get it replaced... I then had to deal with this so called company and pay them $340 for the tow! I honestly would of fathered paid more money to a company that was going to treat me like a human and handle the situation with class than having to deal with this crap of a company. They made my ENTIRE experience terrible. The way I was spoken to alone by that so closed manager Jessica just blows my mind.... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. This company accepted the dispatch to tow my daughters car with a tire blowout on 81 North. They did not show after 45 minutes of waiting. After 30 minuted i called to confirm how much longer and i was told by Nick that he was on his way. He did not ask me who I was even calling for and spent only a minute on the phone with me. 15 minutes later i called again to find out that the driver cancelled and they claim they contacted my insurance company. I then spoke to a supervisor who said that the driver just cancelled the second i called! So after 45 minutes a driver can cancel and leave a 20 year old female alone on the side of the road in the evening.i have had many experiences with my very good insurance company and never had any issues. With this said, they are now filing a claim regarding this as they were not contacted and they were very clear with what was dispatched from the start. Contrary to what Eric said when he called me to "explain" that they were not clear as to where the car was being towed to. Worst company in existence. They damaged my vehicle getting it off the flatbed, with multiple witnesses to this, and they flat out denied they were liable and told me it was "pre-existing damage". Not only that, but the owner called me personally and threatened me over the phone if I tried to turn it into an insurance claim against them!! Ended up turning it into my own insurance carrier, paying my own deductible, and they ignore all legal documents sent to them from my carrier and attorney to recoup the expenses! Lying, conniving, abusive AND they'll damage your vehicle. Go somewhere else for towing. This company sucks. read more

I've had two amazing experiences with this company. The first I was in an accident, the staff and management assured me that I was in good hands, and I was. The vehicle was fixed right and in a timely fashion. I am so happy with the job they did. My second experience my mother was in an accident. The tow company driver witnessed the hit and run, got the plate number for the other car and stopped to help my mom on busy 434. He assisted in shutting down traffic and checked her vehicle assuring she was safe. I commend this company and I will recommend them to everyone in the future. read more

He shoved a pen in my face, mocked me, was adding up the price on his fingers, told us he was bad at math like women, and was extremely obnoxious. Avoid them if you can. They are fraudulent. I got into an accident and my airbag deployed so I couldn't legally drive my car and it was snowing so I couldn't get me a tow truck on time. The police officer called my county dispatch who then called them (of cause, because they are all they could get since all decent businesses are busy). I asked the driver the cost and he insist "let's talk about money after we get you out of here", as if he cares about my safety. When we got to my destination (just a mile away), the fraudster insist I owe him $351. It's either that or he wont put my car down. I was so furious that I almost get physical with the clown but the better part of me kicks in and said to me "calm down, your insurance covers it". they charged $41,000 for a accident recovery on our truck and trailer. our trucking company does not like burning bridges but this is just ridiculous. the most we have paid for a tow before this was 9-10k and that was when our truck was involved in a 40+ vehicle pile up on a highway in penn state and our truck and trailer was in worse condition then the one usave towing dealt with. just complete robbery and we do not appreciate it. thanks for reading Jesse ps: U-SAVE, you might want to change your name cause you aint saving anybody when you charge them what the trailer cost new. read more
