    Lilikoi tarts
    Sheila E.

Lilikoi tart was ok. I think could have a stronger lilikoi flavor. The crust is really buttery and soft. It's good but I would pass on it. Tried this at Tanioka's and it was the only thing from Uber Factory left. They sold out of the ube.

Uber Factory is located in Wahiawa and can be a little difficult to find. Located in an alley. There are some parking spaces available for grab n go. Cash only! Only opens on Wednesdays and Saturday's 9am-2pm. Check their Instagram for updates on flavor specials. Desserts: We've tried several flavors including: *Calamansi Tarts 5/5 (My favorite!) *Kona mocha tarts 5/5 (So good!) *The Ube turnovers 4.5/5 Turnovers sell out fast but they are worth it! Very flaky crust with Ube filling inside. *original Ube tarts 3.5/5 *lilikoi tarts 4/5 Customer service: 3/5 This could be improved. It's kind of a place you walk in and they don't greet you. Very direct and just tells you the tart flavors they have today. No price listed either so make sure to ask how much and that the math is right. Every time there is strong cigarette smoke smell. Not sure if they're smoking inside the place or not. If you're sensitive to that, I'd send someone else in.

Chef Andy Dalan tarts are still and will always be KING...the Dubai chocolate tart is the best thing I ever tasted...you have to try it...and he always comes up with new and exciting flavors...but Uber tarts still reign supreme

2/8/23- First off, it was a little difficult to find the place. We circled around once when we finally found the little drive way leading to the store. Customer service- 3 stars Definitely some room for improvement here. It felt like we inconvenienced the worker when we walked in. It smelled like someone just got back from a smoke break. Also no greeting. We when we left, we were the ones who said thank you. Product quality- 5 stars The Uber tarts themselves were amazing! Since we already tried the regular ube, we chose the dark chocolate mac nut and ube with Haupia. Each little tart was perfect. The filling was delicious and flavorful. The presentation was perfect. They have special flavors available in store. I would definitely go out of my way to buy more.

This is a great place to pick up some bite sized bits of awesomeness. Located in Wahiawa with limited parking and limited hours. So do your homework and check out their open times before you go. They're know for their ube and dessert tarts. Really pleasing to the eye where all the colors just pop and urge you to take a bite. The ube filling was creamy and just sweet enough to please the palate. The chocolate tarts were also very creamy and not too rich. You'll end up eating the whole tray before you know it.

So I received a very sweet gift from a wonderful Auntie. The package of ube treats was traveling but it was still absolutely delicious!!! Ube anytime! Look forward to picking up some goodies when I'm back in town!!!

Alright, uber factory deserves all the money and love it can possibly get because these ube tarts, turnovers, and mochi bombs are the best thing ever. Despite being called Uber Factory, it's a very unassuming shop tucked away in a tiny lot in the back of some other businesses. In fact you would never know about it driving past unless you were specifically looking for it. But anyway, pack some cash, find your way here and experience heaven in the form of ube tarts. They are 8 for $10 or 25 for $30 and I'll save you the trouble now: get 25. They are delicious frozen, refrigerated, or heated which is mind boggling but that's just how it works I suppose. The ube is creamy and ever so subtly yet blatantly delicious and I haven't even talked about their fresh turnovers or mochi bombs yet. The ube turnovers were so flakey and warm including the fantastic creamy ube inside, every bite was paradise. The mochi bombs? Same deal, subtly delicious and sweetly complimented by the icing on top. Anyway, you deserve an ube tart or eight if you've read this far in my review, so go on and treat yourself!

Uber Factory makes the BEST ube tarts, hands down. If you were to put all the other ube tarts in a boxing ring, the ones from Uber Factory would knock every single one out. It would be like putting in boy to fight Mike Tyson back in the day. I love them and every single person that I gave them to loves them as well. I store mine in the freezer so they are nice and firm. If they weren't so good I would only give them 4 starts as they are only open two days a week. Yes you read it correct, Wednesday's and Saturday's from 9am to 2pm are the only two days they are open for now. BTW if you can, you should get there right when they open as they do sell out. The original ube tarts are there but their special stuff will be gone in a blink of an eye. So you want to know about their special things they sell besides ube tarts eh?!?!?! They have other tarts like Kona Mocha, Strawberry Ganache w/dark Chocolate, as well as others but the one I love besides the original is their Silver. Their silver ones is bigger than the orginal tarts and it has haupia on top of the ube. I'm telling you it is so good that I buy extra and hide them, but don't tell the better half as I only get her one. To see what they are selling you can check them out on their IG page: https://www.instagram.com/uberfactory/?hl=en If you are fortunate and they have their Ube Mochi Bombs, ube turnovers or the coveted 8" round ube malted ube mochi bomb, I highly recommend buying a bunch as they are winner, winner, dessert for dinner good. But before you come here, I highly recommend bringing your piggy bank as they only take cash and it isn't that cheap but priced accordingly. I normally bring at least a hundo and hope I don't go overboard. Yup it is that good. Pro tip: Bring cash and arrive early. I like to be number one in line when I do go so I can get the pick of the litter. First in and first out with two full bags of goodies.

Okay, I've heard SO much hype surrounding this place so I was determined to get my hands on some tarts and turnovers during our trip to Wahiawa. We planned to get there as soon as they opened, but we ended up getting there around 11am, and were lucky enough to score one of the last few turnovers, haupia and ube tarts. The Ube Tarts ($10 for 8) were much sweeter and less rich than the UBAE ones that you can find in town, and the tart crust is also a lot softer and less buttery. My mum really loved it, but I found that the inside filling was a little too sweet for me and kind of masked the flavor of the ube. The Haupia Tarts ($12 for 8) had a delicious creamy haupia topping the original ube filling. I loved that the coconut flavor wasn't super strong, but still prominent and balanced out the sweetness of the ube. The Ube Turnover (I'm guessing it was $4 haha I didn't check) was SUPER. DELICIOUS. and worth every penny. The outside was super flaky but not cut the roof of your mouth kine lol They generously fill it with a ube paste which actually tasted like ube and wasn't as sweet as I was expecting.

I've had their Ube tarts over the years at different events but finally made it to their shop in wahiawa with my aunty, we got Ube & lilikoi turnovers and Ube mochi bombs. I think it was just me seeing alot of postings of the mochi bombs and how people saying its soo good a must try so I hyped it up in my head lol. well my personal taste buds didn't take to much to it. The icing on the mochi bombs was too thick for my liking and I couldn't taste Ube in the butter mochi. But I definitely enjoyed those turnovers , nice and flaky and flavorful definitely worth the drive up to wahiawa and the wait if theres a line. Luckily he just missed the line. we went about 20 mins after they opened there was a line but the line was gone by the time we got out of the car. Super nice service. Follow them on social media to see what their menu is for the day. Only open part time hours Wednesday & Saturday. Cash Only. Parking is one way entrance from the main road, Kamehameha hwy and exit to the back roads. Might be a lil hard making that left turn we passed the building where the shop is took the left at the next intersection to turnaround to come back down Kamehameha hwy.

I was picking up lunch nearby and had to get dessert! I got there around 11 and the options were lilikoi cheesecake tarts, ube tarts and ube turnover. I live in town and don't get to Wahiawa often so bought one of each! Cash only so make sure you have money with you. The tarts were good and fresh with the crust still crunchy. The lilikoi tart had just enough sour lilikoi flavor to taste, but not overpowering. Ube tarts not only catch your eye but taste good too with a nice light and slightly creamy texture. The ube turnover was baked earlier in the morning but still had a bit of crunch on the flakey outside with a generous amount of creamy ube filling. I put the remaining tarts in the freezer and will take one out when I feel like having a treat!

These tarts are soooooo good. Started going when they were first open. They had small windows of when they would be open. They have a lot of different flavors now but the original I've is probs my fav. I feel like ube started getting way more popular around the time that they started then everyone else started doing it too!

They sell the ube tarts at 711 in Hawaii as well but they are not nearly as good as buying it straight from Uber Factory. Check their IG for their current menu on the two days that they are open! My friends luckily lived super close by so we always went early in the morning to make sure it didn't run out. We got the ube turnovers, ube tarts, haupia+ube tarts and the vanilla big tarts. All of them are 5/5!!!! I even brought a box of tarts home on my 6 hour plane ride back to California and it still tasted great. If I had to pick, def get their ube tarts and ube turnovers!!! Their turnovers are light and filled so perfectly of ube. Ugh I wish these were in the mainland. Until we meet again, Uber factory!

The pan literally was empty so I was so sad, there was like less than half a scoop left in there and I asked if I could just have that, I just wanted my fix, lol. Me thinking it was going in the smallest cup they had because again it was pretty much empty. He than told me "Oh do you mind if I just put it in this med cup?" Umm, I guess, Im not sure why, but I didnt ask questions. I than asked him if I could get a waffle cone, he told me "Uhhh I dont think it will fit" again there wasnt a full scoop left. I told him I didnt mind, I just wanted to eat whatever I was getting with the waffle cone. he did ask if I wanted another flavor as well as checked the freezers if they had more, but they didnt :( so I was bummed, but its okay, gives me another reason to go back. Now, here is what actually took me by surprise tho. 1- I wasnt expecting free, but oh boy, i wasnt expecting to pay $8 for barely a full scoop, lol. I than asked, "wow its $8 and not even a full scoop, lol, but I was gonna pay it anyways" he said "ohhh yea, ummm Ill take off the waffle cone ($1) off for you" ahhh he took something off, so I just paid the $6 and some change. Which is the cost for a 4oz and waffle cone, LOL. But eh, I asked for the little they had so I paid for it:)) I think by him putting in the bigger cup and just literally putting the cone upside down is what it was gonna be for like a 6oz, which i think is what he initially was gonna charge me for. I think I need to start paying attention to the prices on the sign, LOL...

Our server explained that the menu is more streamlined with favorites. He mentioned that all pancake dishes can be interchangeable to waffles and that the waffle in their chicken and waffle dish can be any flavor! can My friend and I ordered new menu items, the Aria Plate for her and Da 3-Bite Feast for me. We enjoyed our plates! I love when restaurants offer samplers of sweet and savory breakfast items. The ube mascarpone pancakes were as legitimately ube and not too sweet as ever. The crab cake Benedict was great with a crispy crab cake patty and the poached egg a good medium (huge improvement from the bao bun Benedict I ordered for takeout years ago). The egg from the Wagyu loco moco was cooked exactly like the over easy I requested. The meat was moist and the gravy was flavorful. Good to know I don't always have to get the same ube mascarpone pancakes every time! One of our servers seemed a little hurried when my friend just arrived, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I gently reminded him that my friend needed time to look at the menu. (Maybe he got too excited, haha!) The rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. I seem to forget about Guieb's parking in the back, or even the 1-hour parking around the block. The closest untimed street parking I'm aware of is near First Hawaiian Bank a couple blocks away. Guieb Cafe Wahiawa is always a favorite whenever I have visiting family and friends, or for loved ones moving away.

The cost for the whole meal was reasonable until I saw the price for the beignets that were the special menu item. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE US $25.00 for 4 beignets. (For reference: Price was: 1 for $2.75 or 4 for $10.00) I only ordered 4 (two of the Strawberry and 2 of the Ube so my wife and I can try both flavors), which should come out to $10.00. I confronted the waitress about the mistake, and was very apologetic about the error. She returns to the register to fix it and the total came out to $11.00, not $10.00. The math doesn't make sense. So I approached the waitress and she said and I quote: "We charge the $2.75 price because you ordered two orders of two different types of beignets. Since each cost $2.75, the total comes out to $11.00". THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED WHEN THE WAITRESS TOOK OUR ORDER OR WAS NOT PRINTED ON THE MENU WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT THE ORDER I asked her why wasn't this mentioned while we were ordering it, even though she was present when I was having the discussion of the beignets to my wife. All she did was apologize but didn't change the ticket. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I paid the bill and took off. I only state this because even though it is only a dollar, this could have been going on for a good amount of time where they can rack up a good sum of money from customers if they kept this act going. And restaurants wonder why people don't go to their establishments: because occurrences similar to this dissuade people from going out to eat. This is why I check my receipt before paying. *see picture* Don't get me wrong, food was wonderful and the ambiance was laid back and relaxed, but they should make it known of their EXACT pricing before advertising a food item on the menu
