UberGeeks has their own website you should read in addition to Yelp. Reviews there are more recent than on Yelp. Bottom-line: - Nothing to complain about with UberGeeks service or pricing. In my case, a 2-3 day turn-around on checking all the wiring connections after I transferred all PC components to a new case. Cost for the work was less than I expected. - Owner is named Simon. My impression is that he does most of the work himself (aka, no large staff to help)... thus, my primary observation that think will help others considering PC/Tech repair services: Best to call UberGeek's number, vice depending on responses to Texts, Instagram input, etc. With a small/no staff and this type work requiring concentration, it comes down to do we are customers want UberGeeks focused on the Tech work, or being distracted by responding to Texts, etc? - Especially if you are in or near Kaneohe, recommend take your Tech issues to UberGeeks; no reason to drive across the island when you can get it done nearby, and be able to easily coordinate with the technical expertise doing the work. read more

Simon is an extraordinary business man. He is super knowledgeable in his trade and will go above and beyond for his customers. My family goes to him all the time for our cellphone repairs. He is well priced and will make sure your devices are working properly. My son broke his phone twice in one week and nowadays it's vital to have cellphones to communicate and ensure our children's safety. We have had one busy month. My husband just got back surgery and I had a baby!!! All happening two weeks apart. Our budget has been limited since my husband is out of work for a few minths and I have to care for our baby. We were able to fix the first issue without hesitation, but the second time our son broke his phone it became a huge unforeseen expense. We needed to make sure our kids were safe and able to communicate with us during the day since they take public transportation to and from school. Simon was an absolute blessing to us. He fixed our son's phone a second time. He is super considerate and thoughtful. He went above and beyond for our family. I came here for an iPad repair for a Mother's Day gift. The iPad was working fine but the screen was cracked when I brought it in. So I turned it over to him and the repair was done quickly, actually faster then the time frame he gave me. Problem was when I got the iPad back home that day and tried to use it I could not even log in to my iPad. Certain spots on the screen was not working. I then called him back and he said bring it back. After the second repair was done the screen is still not working properly. The corners of my iPad and certain spots in the middle is not functioning properly. I can not even type my own Apple password in anymore. I went for a broken "home" button on my Iphone6 In 2016 i had to go to a phone repair shop at least ten times...no joke! ( 3 different phones- it was an android plus i use the phone for business 4 to 6 hours of use a day) I always go to the same guy. This time I really had no time to drive to town. I needed something closer to me so I decided to go to UberGeeks. In my experience with phone techs the technicians seem to have this shady vibe. I always feel like their ripping me off or hiding something. It could very well be that the ones I get are just socially odd. Customer service is never the greatest. I have tried 4 diff. places prior to 2016 till I finally found the guy i liked. This place has pretty good parking.The area has a small cluster of shops and it is tight but it's pretty decent as far as getting a space. The office space is simple not overly cluttered, A.C and decent sitting. The tech i met, I could tell off the bat, was very upright. He had a very pleasant personality. He was to the point no run arounds. He was personable, the kind of person that's not afraid to look you in the eyes and connect to his customer. It through me off to be honest LOL!! He really appreciated my business. He explained to me what needed to be done. I signed a paper and he called me back in 45 min. Pick up was fast and I paid $26 and some change. His name is Simmon. I managed to drop my Macbook Pro onto the hard floor while I was reaching out for my phone. I learned an Important lesson, don't reach for crap while using a laptop. The whole screen initially turned multicolored so I turned it off. When I turned the computer back on, the screen turned whitish with different sections being darker or lighter. I sent a message to several computer repair shops through Yelp and the first response came from Simon at UberGeeks. He quoted me a price, $99 for labor and about $300-$400 for the screen depending on the model and year. I talked to a few other repair places that gave me similar prices. Simon said I could drop by anytime without an appointment. The location of his shop was very ideal for me because I was living up on the north shore at that time. I drove to his shop and decided to have Simon do the repair. He ordered a refurbished screen and had my computer fixed the day he got the parts in. This was very important to me because I had finals coming up and wanted my computer done before then. I ended up paying $500 for the repair. My Macbook Pro had the retina screen so I had to pay more unfortunately. Right now on Amazon, a "Apple MacBook Pro Retina 13" A1502 Early 2015 Display Full LCD LED Display Screen Assembly Repair Part" cost $405 so the bulk of the price came from the cost of the parts like Simon said. While I was bummed about the price, I was very satisfied with the service I received from UberGeeks. Simon was accurate on pricing and quick with the repair. I was on vacation visiting my friend in Kaneohe, Hawaii. My friend asked me to get the cracked screen on his iphone 7 fixed. I looked for a local tech on Google, I found ubergeeks, their website was clear and straight forward. Their prices were extremely reasonable. I took the phone in and asked them to fix the screen, the tech, Simon, took a look at the phone and said it wasn't the screen, but the hard plastic screen protector. I really appreciated his integrity, another business could have taken advantage of my lack of understanding and inexperience and charged me for replacing a screen that didn't need to be replaced. Simon is total bull-sh*t. I had a virus that brought down the computer and he said he would fix it "tomorrow". Tomorrow quickly became day after tomorrow because he had to run "the scan" which allegedly took 7 hours. The scan turned out to be a "restore" to two days before the virus and so the virus was still on the machine and it took me a week to finally get rid of it. He lied about what he was going to do, he lied about fixing the machine, and who knows what else. I paid of course because you don't examine your computer in the shop to see if it was fixed properly.
