Should be called "ubreakicantfixshit". Took in my console to be fixed cause when I played it- it said "too hot" when it wasn't hot then shut down on me mid game. They came up with 3 different diagnostics Liquid Metal, power supply or motherboard told me it'll be 3-5 days I waited for a call they never called me. So, therefore I called them, put me on hold for exactly 7 minutes came back and said it wasn't the Liquid Metal. Came to the conclusion it was the power supply or the motherboard told me it'll be another 3-4 days, and I waited. While I waited my epic account was hacked into, and completely locked out of and changed my email and epic name to my Fortnite and stole that I have time stamps. My boyfriend then called up there to confront them because the repair was under his name; their response was "it's safe and that I should be more careful with my epic name because a lot of people get hacked all the time and that it doesn't turn on." I told my boyfriend that's bullshit because when I could get on-I could play a few matches then it'll turn off on me mid game. I'm like no it doesn't make sense with the time stamps this never has happened to me before until I take it in. Beyond furious, the four days were mark, they never contacted me yet AGAIN!! I called they pick up and I was put on hold yet again said it was the motherboard was a shortage couldn't be fixed-waste of my money. Poor communication. NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I COME BACK TO ANOTHER uBreakiFix or refer to my friends and family shouldn't even get this one star at that too!!!! read more

My first encounter with this company was today and with many skeptic reservations. I was reluctant to even waste my time with them, but once I entered the business, not only I was greeted with warm hospitality and a warm smile, it was followed with superb professionalism. Brandon, the tech whom I spoke with regarding my problem asked how he could assist. I then explained my problem with the ear piece on my I-Phone and explained how it sounds if I were listening with a muffled speaker. He then began to educate me on the many reasons why I could be experiencing the problems and offered me many possible solutions. It turned out not to be a costly fix but in fact a simple solution at no cost. He then explained how they are not in business to cheat or take advantage of the everyday consumers but to help them out and bring "us" back for the opportunity to help with any phone or computer problems that we may have in which require a more detail diagnosis. With this said, he saved me $150 from my phone carrier in which they said i had to purchase a new phone regardless that I had insurance on my smart phone. I also have a computer that needs repair in which I will gladly give them the chance to fix/repair or tell me what I need to do! One minute I was enjoying a podcast on my Galaxy Tablet, and the next it was silent. I swiped it, but it wouldn't illuminate. I could tell the power was still on because every time an email arrived the bell dinged. I took it in and left it with Cory. A few days later, I got a call from Jacob letting me know it was ready. When I asked how much I owed, he said " No charge. It just needed a minor adjustment, so we're not going to charge you for that." Even after I told him that I didn't mind paying them for their time, he still refused. Now, where can you get that kind of service these days? When I went to pick it up, Brandon waited on me. He was just as pleasant as Cory and Jacob. These guys are a class act! Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and just all around nice guys. Friendly employees who answer all your questions. I had a shattered iPhone screen and replacement cost is $129. Repair time is 1-2 hours. They go slow and make sure it's all done right. I'm sure you can find repair cost a little cheaper in other places but this store had a clean/professional feel to it and I felt very comfortable leaving my phone here. I'm sure you could find. Warranty for 3 months comes with repair. I returned a little early for my pickup and as I waited, I witnessed another employee speaking with some customers. For their iPhone 6 Plus problem, he told them to not even bother wasting their money on fixing it because it would return after fixing due to it being an Apple issue and they most likely would just have to buy a new phone. I liked the honesty, even though it meant no business for the store. They do free diagnostics as well. As the irresponsible teenager I am, I have come here 3 times (I think) to fix 3 different phones 3 different times Poke fun all you want, I deserve it, Frankly. Anyway, their prices are affordable considering some other options in Austin, and if you find it somewhere else for cheaper, they'll beat the price by 5$. Their customer service is beyond recognizable. Brandon, my favorite, is the one that worked with me the most and he was very helpful. I recently got my Samsung Note 9 fixed, and he gave me a discount! (My guess is for being such a loyal customer ) He was very friendly and gave good advice to not break another phone. Finally, the work is exceptional. Once it's fixed you can't even tell it was broken! On top of it all, the water resistant phones remain water resistant (just not as good as ip68 but still awesome)! I had an issue with my laptop powering off whenever moved even slightly. I tried to troubleshoot the issue as best as I could to no avail. My Wife took the laptop in and Brandon immediately observed that some small screws were missing from the bottom which he speculated may be the culprit. He immediately found some proper fitting screws and put them in place to keep the hard drive stable and prevent the constant reboot / crash cycle. This was taken care of in about 2 minutes and even though we were first time customers, Brandon refused to take any payment for the quick fix! We're still testing it out but that sort of experience could receive no less than 5 enthusiastic stars! It really helps that reviews are available when looking for a new service provider. I thought I had mortally wounded my iphone when I found it had gotten wet and I couldn't access mail or texting. I really thought I would have to get a new phone. In my search I found uBreakiFix and wanted to try them. I decided to check their reviews and read so many that helped me decide. Bryan was able to figure out what had happened with the phone. It was not damaged by liquid but the screen had not been replaced properly in the past by a different provider, so typing was gibberish. The Southpark meadows UbreakIfix store is bad ass!! I went in with three outdated, miserably slow laptops that I thought would be more expensive to fix than replace. I was also worried that I would be talked into spending more than was needed because of my minimal knowledge of the current hardware requirements to do only what I needed and not more. Well... Stopped by today after being referred by Sprint because they couldn't repair my iphone. I managed to pop the screen off my phone, I figured it was gonna be pricey to fix. I walked in and handed my phone to the gentle man and asked him if my phone could be fixed and how much would it cost. He took one look at it and said he was going to go check the settings and he'd be right back. In less than 5 minutes I had my iphone back and it was fixed. The price to fix it.......next to nothing. These guys are GREAT! I made a HUGE mistake in assuming that Apple could replace my battery on my iphone 6S+, but they could not. This place is awesome! I was in tears because a certain phone network, that shall remain nameless, told me I had wiped ALL of my photos off of my phone while transferring to a new (refurbished?) one. For some reason, I felt that wasn't true and sure enough I took my phone (Pixel) here to Jacob, explained my situation and literally in less than 5 minutes of pushing buttons, he showed me my phone and said, "Is this them?" These guys were great. They fixed my wife's phone the first time she dropped it in the toilet and charged us a very fair fee for their work. And though they tried on the second occasion, they were not able to repair it so they didn't charge us. They asked if we wanted the phone and we said yes. And after not getting by to pick it up, they called again a few weeks later to remind us. And a month later, when we finally dropped by to get it, they were still holding the phone for us. I came in to get my phones charging port replaced as it was not charging well. The person who helped me looked at the phone under a microscope and said there was some debris in the port and a loose pin. He cleaned it and got it to begin charging without replacing the port.
