Made an appointment thru insurance to get the back of my phone fixed... when I got my phone back my front camera wasn't working... no FaceTime calls, no Face ID, no pictures could be taken.. I went back... the guy reset my phone, kept telling me to just wait and it would work again... 30 minutes later, he told me that I could leave because there is nothing else he could do for me (so unprofessional) I ended up having to spend 2 hours on the phone with Asurion and they ended up having to send me a brand new phone because they said the tech that worked on my phone broke it. Don't bother. I booked an appointment and because I like to be punctual, I arrived on time. The shop was closed because the employee decided to take lunch. I waited patiently for 40 min and nobody showed up at the time they said they would be back from lunch. At the same time, three other people showed up so I decided to finally leave. Awesome customer service and work from Jackie! I was super stressed out because I broke the screen for my S21 Ultra. I was ready to just full on pay out of pocket but they let me know to check if I had insurance on it and to file a claim. Well, what do you know! Insurance and all good to go. I have Verizon so I think my copay was roughly around $30. Note: if you have Verizon then make sure to file a claim online first with asurion. Its super easy and way better than trying to call to file a claim. My phone was broken so they let me call Verizon, but I was having a hard time getting them to do anything. Have a buddy or go online first to file a claim that way they can immediately get started on their services. Overall 10/10 great service from Jackie. My phone works and now I'm not stuck! Went in with a broken phone, was told they don't have the part and to call around to find out who had the part and could fix it. Knowing I couldn't make calls because my phone was broken, she didn't offer to call other shops, didn't offer to call Samsung, didn't offer to call T-Mobile. All she could do was refuse to help. I had an appointment to get the battery replaced in my son's iphone, at this location. We arrived on time and the person at the desk claimed replacing the battery wasn't a good idea, as it could damage the screen. Her children were in the back of the shop, running around and making a lot of noise. When we indicated we wanted to have the repair done, she claimed she didn't have the correct part. We went to another location and the repair was done easily. Dishonest, incompetent, and willing to waste their customer's time. Absolutely shameful! read more

Last year my dad suffered a massive stroke that impaired his ability to speak. I brought in my dad's speech therapy tablet to be repaired at this place after the charge port in the tablet was not working. First an employee named Jason quoted me a price of around $60 for the repair. Then a week later his manager informed me that Jason no longer worked there and that I was misquoted, and he charged me $110. I tried to explain to the manager that I did not think it was fair that I was being charged almost double what I was quoted, but managers in all industries are selected for their ability to disregard basic human empathy so I was not surprised when he wouldn't budge. Because my dad NEEDS this tablet for his speech therapy (he suffers from apraxia and aphasia post stroke) I felt I had no choice but to pay. Less than a month and a half later the port malfunctions again and does not charge. I asked the staff if they could help me, but they said I would need to fork over another $110 dollars for the repair. They are extorting money from a disabled senior citizen and I have a feeling every single one of these corporate repair centers are the same. I strongly encourage all the workers there unionize that location and if it closed (which would be retaliation) I would urge the workers to open their own repair shop their as a co-op so they could all take home more money, charge less, and get rid of these heartless managers and corporate types. The part is $7. If any family owned competitors wants to help out I'll give them a 5 star review. Shame on Asursion, and shame on their managers and owners. read more

If I can give it a negative star, I would. I took in my son's Apple computer about a month ago to repair a port, close to $300. We got it back and it worked for a couple of weeks and we had the same problem with the port. I took it back in and I was told that the problem was that I used the same charger cord and that I had fried the mother board. I was disgusted when they told me that. I feel that they should have told me that in the first place. They claim that they told me verbally. I would have remembered that for sure. Don't go there. They are disgusting and unprofessional. read more

I dropped my iPhone 12 at my night shift job and it had these very bright white lines on them. I couldn't see the whole left side of my screen but it still functioned fine so I looked up a phone repair shop and uBreakiFix was the first option that popped up. I set up an appointment and the very next day (today) I came in and Mohammed fixed my phone in under an hour and even gave me a discount! I definitely recommend going to the East Palomar or Broadway "UbreakiFix". Mohammed is usually at the broadway one he says but I heard that Jackie is a great worker and she is at East Palomar so you can choose whichever one I'm sure they will take care of you the same way they did me! This place gave me the worst experience. They told me it would take 1-2 hours and guided me that I could safely visit them in 4 hours. I visited in 4 hours but they said it would take another 40 minutes and I said I would visit in 1 hour and they said yes. I visited 1 hour and 10 minutes later and they said it was lunch time and put a note saying they would open in 1 hour and 15 minutes and locked the door. I waited there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. But they didn't fix my smartphone. They say they don't have parts so you have to order them. If I had been informed that there were no parts from the beginning, I would have found another store or method. But they made me throw away my time and the cost of gas going back and forth there. I will never visit this store again and I will not recommend it to my friends either. read more

I was out of town, family emegency, my mother had died. My phone kept having issue's of charging, staying plugged in and just got too be a serious issue. I was recommended this location by samsung support, they suggested my charger port needed replacement. I contacted the store for an appointment , dropped by 10 min early to make sure I was at the proper location. I was amazed on the friendliness of the customer support agent , he was understanding and friendly. He took ownership of my issue was and was very knowledgeable. He took my phone and evaluated it for proper diagnosis of the issue. He came back with my phone In a few minutes , said he discovered the issue. Showed me micro packed dirt or pocket lint. It was preventing my phone from having a secure connection with the charging cable. He cleaned out the charging port , verified resolution. My phone is working flawless now thanks to the expert care and support of the location. I'm extreamly grateful the tech was there in a jiffy and had me working again in no time.
