I went in on Saturday July 19th at 11am I have insurance on my phone through Asurance The UBreakIFix rep told me I had to call ATT to initiate a claim I was on hold with ATT for 45 minutes they never picked up. I was forced to pay the repair out of pocket $250. Here's the problem, the UBreakIFix rep was wrong, you can go to phone claim.com to initiate a claim. She gave me bad info, putting me in a position in which I was forced to pay out of pocket. She was on FaceTime with with her boyfriend the whole time I was there so she was not focused on my situation. Held my phone hostage...I had a battery put in my phone paid for it and left. Store kept calling said come back battery needs to calibrate to your phone. I went back clerk said about 20 minutes. When I returned a male clerk refused to give me back my phone. He claimed I never paid for the battery on my last visit. I said give me my phone and I can bring up receipt.. he said no I needed to pay another $300 for battery. I said is it your policy to let me leave the first time without paying but now you want to hold my phone hostage? I was going for police. A manager got on computer said oh here it is you did pay. Got a screen replaced from them a few months ago never got around to reviewing it though, when i got home i realized the new screen had a scratch on it, which could have only been pre existing since it was in my pocket the whole ride home with nothing else in the pocket. Love the brand, first time using this location and wasn't able to get served. But this location on Stirling need help. Needed to get my laptop fixed. They ordered the wrong oft. Had me travel there four times only to end up with excuse after excuse. It is clear that they are understaffed, but seem to not know how to leverage resources to keep up with current demand. The last time I went to the location they said they would call me after locating the part in their shop (this would have been the fourth visit after coming back at specified times and having them having to reorder the correct part). It's been over a week, and I am still waiting on a call back. I have used the location in plantation before several times and never experienced this problem. read more

Had the worst experience. Initially when I called and explained my screen was broken, they quoted me at one price and when I went to drop off my laptop, they upcharged me $200 and said they had no idea who gave me the original price. On top of that, after I received my laptop back months later I find out that they broke a piece of my hardware and superglued it back instead of replacing the piece which ended up costing me more fees in repairs. Don't use them if you want your laptop to fix correctly. They will do a lazy job and overcharge you. read more

Completely shattered my Samsung galaxy note 10 screen and the bottom half didn't even work. I went here because they were the only place open during the quarantine and I am happy that I did. I would rate this business zero but there's no way to do that. I brought my computer there on April 29th. They said they were estimating about a week for this type of repair but it would probably be ready sooner. I waited 9 days without hearing anything so I called them. They said they were running the virus scan when I called and it would be ready the next day (Saturday May 9th). They would call me. I never received a call. I waited until Monday, May 11 and called them back. The person said he hadn't worked on it but the person who did would be there the next day and he would have him call me. Next day - still no call. I called them. He said it was fixed. I could pick it up - no charge due to the delay. I got it home and it is doing the exact same thing it was doing when I dropped it off. No wonder it was free of charge - you can't charge for work you don't do. I would have understood if they had said they couldn't fix the problem but why give me the run around for 2 weeks. I could never recommend this business to anyone. I hope other stores in the franchise are operated better than the one at this location. read more
