Initially, the company had my child's iPad for over two weeks, despite being informed that it would only be for a few days. The associate, "Daniel," provided inadequate assistance and exhibited poor customer service. After explaining the situation and being informed that there was no estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the repair or the necessary part, we contacted Asurion. They clarified that it is standard procedure for them to mark the device as "non-repairable" after a week has elapsed and the device remains unrepaired. However, "Daniel" proceeded to mark the device as "declined service," returned it to us, which was obviously never touched, and referred us to Asurion. Unfortunately, Asurion is unable to process the claim due to the status that "Daniel" entered into the system. We requested that he change it, but despite the advanced technology available, he stated that it was "not possible." To exacerbate the situation, Asurion continues to indicate that the claim is open and unable to assist us, despite the fact that we have already paid for their services. Consequently, we are currently out of $100, still have a cracked iPad screen, and an unhappy child, while also experiencing discomfort towards uBreakiFix. In my opinion, it is advisable to refrain from engaging with this company entirely to avoid the distressing experience I personally encountered. read more

Yelp Review 2025 #142: When I was having a phone emergency, I had to look for a place that could replace my battery real quick. I could go to the Apple Store but it's too far and I don't feel like going to the mall. UBreakiFix is less than 5 miles away from home that's why I took my phone here despite them charging $20 more. I booked an appointment on their website. The earliest appointment they have available is at 11am even though they open at 10am. They have like 3-4 locations in Vegas/ Henderson and their business hours are different so, be sure to check their hours. I got to the shop 30 minutes early. They get quite busy on Friday. I got a discount code on their website but they don't honor it. You pay upfront. It was $100 to replace my battery plus 3% charge for using a credit card. The gentleman that helped me was pleasant. There's a guy in the back that answers phone calls and does the repairs. I was told my phone would be ready by 1:30pm. I was at the shop exactly at 1:30pm and I had to wait another 30 minutes because my phone wasn't ready. However, they replaced by screen protector for free which was nice. I got my phone back so, I went home. I charged the new battery the whole afternoon. When I tried to use my phone, my FaceID wasn't working and it was already too late to take my phone back to the shop. I had to make another trip here a different day. I dropped it off at 10:30am, and it was ready by 2:30pm. So far, so good. read more

II had the white screen of death (WSOD). I Walked in at 3:35pm to ask for a quote. The front desk suggested it would be free if I filed a claim with Asurion. The front desk took my phone to the back and told me it was going to be $265. I notified them that I would try to file a claim as the price was what they charge to replace a screen. I stepped out and called Asurion. Asurion asked me if there was any damage. I inspected my phone again and noticed my screen was lifted with a small tool that left a scratch on the bottom left corner. It was in perfect condition when I walked in. I notified Asurion that the phone was apparently lifted by the tech at UbreakiFix and maybe he lifted it to inspect something. I filed the claim and notified Asurion that the ubreakit tech estimated to have it repaired by 6pm or so. They scheduled me to get it fixed through their screen. I walked back into UbreakiFix at 3:55pm. The front desk took my phone back to the tech. After a few minutes they told me to refile the claim as damaged because the screen was not attached to the phone. I told them my phone was in perfect condition and was obviously lifted by the tech during my first visit. They denied it and claimed the phone was already opened. I grabbed my phone and walked out calmly. If they would have taken ownership of what they did and came to speak with me about. I would have gladly refiled the claim and moved on. Now I know they damage phones during the free quote and increase repair charges for damages they inflict. Terrible experience. read more

Had a problem with my charging port not working due to it being clogged with lint and dirt. Freddie here got it cleaned and put on a screen protector in under 5 mins. Went next door to use the bathroom and came back to my phone being done and charging again. Took it to Verizon first and they were telling me I needed a new phone and yet Freddie got it fixed no problem. read more

The young man I dropped off my labtop with was very nice and listen to all my concerns with the laptop. It took a long time, but it was done 1-2 days earlier from what I expected. I'm not sure if they did checked all of my concerns cause when I picked it up the only thing the young man mentioned was the battery but I was told they were also replacing another part which it was the reason for the longer time! He wasn't as informative as the previous person. Overall their customer service is okay. Im hoping not to have the same problems with my laptop any time soon. read more

I went through Asurion insurance through AT&T, and these guys had to fix a shattered and broken glass screen (my kids phone, chunks of glass were missing) It was done in two hours! Only had to leave it overnight because they couldn't run diagnostics because kid forgot her passcode. Matt and Berto were amazing! Back story. I am an 'apple head' through and through. So I was very upset when my child accidentally broke a Gelileo thermometer on the very end table my MacBook Pro was resting. I immediately removed the computer from the source, and began clean up, but too late, the damage was done. I had the dreaded black screen of death! I took my laptop to the NLV UBREAKifix in Cannery Corner. Berto greeted me upon arrival and explained the process. I dropped my device off and left it in his hands. From there my device was treated with the greatest of care. While the part took a little longer than expected to be delivered, Berto was patient with me each time I called to check on the status. Today, I got a text from Matt that my device was ready for pickup! I was more than eager to have my computer back. The work was flawless, and while there is still a faint kerosene smell on my device due to the thermometer, it works as it should, so I am more than pleased. Repair cost was around $330, but replacement for a MacBook Pro is significantly higher! Thank you Matt and Berto, for your patience, kindness and professionalism while taking care of my repair. Literally would give zero stars if I could. This is the second time I have brought a product in for repair. And they couldn't fix an I phone charging port. They sealed the phone terribly the seal is hanging out the bottom of the phone. They didn't give me the SIM card for the phone or the tray for the SIM card. I now have an appointment to get my son a new phone tomorrow morning have to cancel it because I have no SIM card. This was sloppy all the way around. I highly recommend finding somewhere else to get your phone repairs done. Update 2/21/22 called them Raymond was so rude and unprofessional. Doesn't know where the SIM card or tray is. I've been to the Culver City location (in California)and experienced top-notch quality service and it was the same here in North Las Vegas. From taking in the device, to delivery - in less than the hour quoted for the job. I grabbed a late lunch in the thirty minutes that went by before I received a text message indicating the phone was ready - another nice touch, so I'm not sitting around waiting. I was even privy to listen in on the service provided to a customer who was in the shop when I came by for the pickup. Professional, clear and honest. It's going on twelve hours since the replacement and the phone is still holding a true charge. Work comes with a 90-day warranty but after I inspected the work, I'm confident there won't be a need to go back. Just like I didn't have to for the work done on one of my devices in Culver City. Berto was manning the front counter when I walked in with my wife's phone. The speaker for her phone wasn't working well and we weren't sure if it was dirty or something else. Berto examined the phone and wanted to try a quick cleaning to see if that helped. He took the phone in back and returned within a minute or two. He said all he did was a quick cleaning of the speaker but it seemed to work to me. Berto said he was glad he could help and gave me an estimate if more work was needed, he did not charge me for the quick clean. I was incredibly grateful as I had expected a good few hours but left with 15 minutes of arrival. I took the phone back to my wife and she was pleased with the results. Or maybe nobody knows it's here. Which is probably even better. Or maybe people don't review when they have things go right - only when they go wrong. Well, I'll gladly review my experience. For you see, I came from another state; and shortly before this had bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus to replace my Note 8 (which is cracked. More on that later). Note 10 fell two feet from a bed to a carpeted floor, bounced a bit into one of the legs (metal, which created a shatter point on the back glass. Mind, this was DAYS after unboxing. I wasn't happy. Assurant (Verizon) refused to ship a new phone without multiple hoops and PAPER forms over weeks. They still haven't responded to my BBB inquiry. So I canceled the service - not worth paying for it if I can't just get my stuff replaced or fixed in less than a day. IF I didn't hate Apple so much I would go iPhone. I digress. So I had an appointment scheduled for here because it's right down the road from my new place. I got here early because some deliveries didn't follow my delivery date instructions, so I had to be here to coordinate and decided to just drop in. Not only were they able to accommodate me on short notice, the 2-hour estimate they initially thought it would be turned into roughly 10 minutes out the door for $90 (mind you, the Assurant deductible is $200 and you don't get the phone back for weeks). AppleCare would have been instant replace via store walk in, but ugh @ Apple. I again digress. Now, I have a phone that once again looks like brand new. I couldn't be happier with the service I received here. I have a screen damaged OLED tablet computer that I might see about having them fix. read more

Bottom line: Subpar communication. The technicians I dealt with were nice enough but rarely provided me the courtesy of a phone call or text even to update me on the status of my phone repair. My new Galaxy S20 FE screen got cracked and the device was unusable. Ubreakifix is authorized for repairs on Samsung devices so I took my phone to them. My phone's screen was replaced a day later but the fingerprint sensor didn't work. I left it there another day to have the screen replaced once more but again the fingerprint sensor didn't function as it should. I was told that it must be a manufacturing defect and that they could order a part that would arrive in about 1 week. I made sure to confirm the day which came and went. Several weeks later I got a call saying the part arrived. What I thought would be at most a 3 hour fix would've taken a month. I say would've because thankfully my issue was resolved via a firmware update that was pushed a few days before Ubreakifix contacted me. Every time I went there (4 visits) I made sure they had my correct contact info because I never received any calls/ texts/ emails from them despite them saying they would contact me with updates. The last time I even called to get a status update and was told that it wasn't ready yet but that it shouldn't take more than an hour. My work was relatively close so I told them I would just head out there after I was off and would wait for the call to say it was ready. After an hour in the parking lot I called and was told that they couldn't fix it but would need to order another part. Why, even when on that earlier phone call I reiterated my phone #/ situation (that I was heading over there before the job was expected to be done) they didn't call or text me with an update I cannot understand. read more

My iPhone was driving me nuts. The smallest movement of the cable and it would disconnect from a charge or when plugged into my truck which is really annoying with CarPlay. I had already taken it to the AT&T store and when they couldn't help they recommended I bring it to UBREAKIFIX. Meisha was helping another customer when I arrived, and was so knowledgeable and helpful to assist that customer. When was my turn she was very patient as I explained the situation. She told me she would be taking the phone in the back for a little while to see what she could do with it, and when she came out, she was optimistic that she had been able to repair it and plugged it in to see if it would charge and explained it might be 10 or 15 minutes before it came back to life.
