uBringIBreak - Worst Experience Ever at the Napa Location I walked into the uBreakiFix Napa store -- or as it should honestly be called, uBringIBreak -- and was immediately greeted by a staff member who was literally sleeping in the store. Not exactly a confidence‑builder. Before even looking at my phone, he announced that any device under warranty is "impossible" to work on. No diagnostics, no questions, nothing. When he finally did look at the phone, he used his fingernails to scratch at a corner of the device and then claimed it was "damaged." Completely unprofessional and careless. Trying to speak to a manager was another adventure. They're apparently "usually not available," and I was told to maybe come back in an hour if the manager returned. If the manager finally shows up, he would repeat the same line: "the device is damaged," followed by an outrageously expensive out‑of‑pocket estimate. My advice: If your device is under warranty, do not take it to this location. You're better off going literally anywhere else if you want your warranty respected and your device treated properly. read more

Quoted $420 to replace the back panel on a base iPhone 14. Apple's published price for that repair is $169, because the standard 14 has a removable back glass designed for exactly this fix. That's a markup of two and a half times over the manufacturer using genuine parts. When I came back to give them a chance to correct it, I was brushed off and told to go to Apple. No explanation, no interest in keeping a customer. Do yourself a favor and check Apple's repair estimator before you sign off on anything at this shop. read more

Great customer service! I called on Wednesday to let them know. I filed the claim but we didn't get in till Thursday. It was the last screen they had but they said they would hold it. Thursday came and it was pretty chaotic so I asked if they would mind waiting till Friday and they did. I was so grateful because I've been waiting for like six weeks for a new screen for the 17 Pro. When I dropped it off, they said it would be 90 minutes and it was ready when I got back would highly recommend! Insurance covered so it was worth waiting! read more

I have never been compelled to write a review on yelp until doing business with uBreakifix. I brought in my PS5 which wasn't turning on and long story short I was charged just shy of $300 to be told that "it's broken" and then when I asked what was wrong the gentleman couldn't tell me. He said that the person who worked on it didn't leave any notes and that they weren't on shift. He then asked if I would like their phone number to call back tomorrow to ask what's wrong and he grabbed a sticky note looked for a pen and proceeded to tell me "ah, I can't find a pen" and then just blank stared at me... so I walked out of the store. Absolutely useless. I brought in an external hard drive that was no longer powering on. After a week, I called to check in and their answer was "it's not powering on." Sooooo, they asked if they could take the drives out and try them in a different housing. I reminded them that this was exactly what I asked them to do a week prior. Another week and a half goes by and I get a message that my hard drive had been repaired. I show up the next morning and they hand an empty, broken open hard drive housing and two unhoused drives. So, after nearly three weeks all they did was break open my hard drive. Thanks guys. read more

I'm HAVING an AWFUL experience with this store. I have filed a claim with their customer service. The woman I spoke to there, Jennifer, was very nice and said she would get on it. She left a message on my phone 2 days ago with her call back number and ext. But the number she left does not go to YouBreak it goes to Asurion where nobody knows a thing about my claim. One of the 3 different people I spoke to there gave me an 800# for Youbreak claims but when I phoned it the number said no it was no longer in service. I just spoke to a person at the store in napa to get an update, he said they were still working on it. Mind you the computer was in perfect working order when I brought it to them 2 months ago now. The only issue was ONE Key which was unresponsive. Long story they sent the computer back to me 3 weeks later and it would not boot-up. It's been two weeks this second round and they have no explanation. They said I should contact Asurion to "REOPEN" the case. WTA??. DO not go here for computer repair. They should be called "YouBreakWsupermessitup." Jennifer if by chance you see this please send an email or a phone number where you can actually be reached. I am more than happy with my experience! Needed to have my cracked Samsung S10 screen repaired. It was easy to book appointment on their website. Really great emails confirming appointment. They were busy at my slot time of 4pm. Robert was the front desk representative. He is kind, patient, quite knowledgeable in his craft and has a great sense of humor. Had to come back later to pick up my cell, which wasn't a problem at all. My cell looks better than ever! Kudos to the resident artist! Give these guys a chance to fix your problems. I just wanted to share how my phone was completely destroyed, a cracked screen for more then a year and one day recently I dropped it and it just completely quit working. Couldn't turn my phone on or off absolutely nothing worked and the screen was toast on my 4.5 year old Android. If I got a new phone I would have lost ALL of my photos and contacts not to mention all the apps that was connected with all my passwords.
