I don't write Yelp reviews but felt compelled to after a really great experience with Linet. My LG OLED TV suddenly died on me after the initial warranty expired, which meant I'd have to pay for any repairs or replacement. Thankfully I bought it on a premium credit card with an extended warranty benefit so decided to go through with it. LG's site pointed me towards Linet to attempt a repair. Alex was very helpful in trying to diagnose and explain the problem. Ultimately a replacement board didn't work out, so the most likely fix per Alex's experience was a very expensive panel replacement, at which point a new TV made more sense. Even still, Alex was very helpful with my extended warranty claim process which required documentation. Alex was experienced with this process and even advised me on how to get through it more quickly by telling insurance to call him for additional information they were seeking. I got a response from Linet within an hour of reaching out to them and after a few questions they were able to set up an appointment and had Alex, the service technician, at my house within 24 hours (very handy when your fridge is failing!) Alex was great - arrived on time, explained everything very clearly, including costs for repair and what was covered by the LG warranty. He even had the forethought to bring the correct parts with him (see my earlier sentence about well structured questions up front). We were having problems with our LG washing machine so I called LG to help me find a local certified repair company. They directed me to Linnet Electronics and Appliances. I called them on a Friday and Alex, the senior service technician, answered. We set up an appointment for him to come and assess the machine the very next Monday. He determined there was a faulty electronic panel causing the problem. He ordered the part and gave me a very reasonable quote for it and the labor to do the work. As soon as the part came in, he contacted me and set up another appointment. During the repair, another unrelated problem surfaced, requiring Alex to order another part, which he did. He returned when the part came in and only charged me for the part itself, honoring his initial quote. Alex was very responsive, easy to work with, very respectful of the area in which he was working and obviously knows his trade! Put in a Yelp request at 9:30am, dryer was fixed by 12:30pm. I was able to communicate with Alex about the problem and he gave me a potential solution and price before coming out to look. He was kindly able to come out after completing another job nearby and inspected the dryer. He confirmed what I suspected was wrong and had the part with him to fix it. Price was very reasonable (and better than some other quotes I got on Yelp) especially when you consider him being able to come out on short notice. Now we don't have to buy a new dryer! TLDR: -Ended up stringing me along for over a month "waiting for a part" that was in stock on a few websites I checked. -Misdiagnosed (on purpose?) my dryer problem as needing a new motor ($380 job) when it was really just a worn $20 roller. -Posts the appliances/home/customers online without mentioning it, so if you have photos on your fridge for example they are going on the internet. More details: Getting him to come out for the first washing machine service was a bit tough but it went fine, he was respectful, and fixed the problem. During the service I asked him about my loud dryer and during the service he allegedly took a second to diagnose the dryer - he said it was a bad motor, could be fixed for $380, and he had the part in his shop if I wanted to do it. After a few more months the dryer got louder so I messaged Alex again, and this time things went much worse: -Told me he needed to order the part but would let me know when it arrived. -Never reached back out for another 11 days, until I asked for a status. -He responded saying the part had not arrived yet (at this point I looked and I could see the motor in stock at several websites btw) -Gave him another 10 days with no reply before I asked again. -He said ETA was another 5 days. -Gave him another 11 days before I asked status to which he replied he would call the company, but let me know later that day. -He hasn't followed up now 3 days later (over 35 days total) -Ended up fixing the dryer myself and found it was just a worn roller that I fixed for $20 and the motor was fine. read more

I called and inquired about setting an appointment to have my TV looked at, and they were very prompt at getting back to me and providing me with a date that works. I was referred to Linet by LG since our fridge is out of warranty. We have already had a major repair done on it (which LG comped since apparently there are reliability issues with these units), but they were not willing to do the same for this repair. Fuse had the most pleasant person answer my questions and when i explained our business need Arameh expedited a sane day service assessment ( within 5 hours) . Justin the service provider was professional knowledgeable, friendly . He assessed the problem plus pointed out some unrelated plumbing issues we need to address . My cousin's LG refrigerator just died. It has this "linear compressor" that seemed to be a fairly common problem. Everyone I called said we just needed to get a new refrigerator. I got home from work and the dishwasher was still not working. I texted them back and he was so rude. I had Linet repair my LG icemaker which had trouble consistently producing ice. He did a quick assessment and later in the week installed what he thought would repair the dysfunction. He noted that if it didn't fix it, he would proceed further. When I found the ice maker not working again I called Linet and reported this problem. He told me to report this to my insurance company. That he would do no further work on the problem. I told him I would not report this to my insurance company. I am looking for another repair company read more

Received excellent, fast service from Linet Electronics. I called on a Friday about repairing my LG countertop microwave. Alex gave me an appointment the following Monday. By Monday early afternoon my microwave oven was fixed and working properly.
