The reps told me to come back next day and the phone was not ready. When you go to the store, you can wait upwards of 5 minutes for a rep to come to the front. They say they have video but it does not lead to the staff coming to the front in a timely manner. Currently have been waiting for 7 minutes with 3 other customer. In early December of 2025, I brought my Lenovo laptop in because the frame broke. It took a while to order a new part, but they got it in late December of 2025 and switched it out. But it turns out the touchscreen didn't work, so after getting settled into my new job. I finally took it back to get it repaired, but the clerk wouldn't repair it for a discount, even though the store shouldn't have given my laptop back without first fixing it. On top of that, the receipt I was given for the claim was for the last one in Decmber of 2025. I was also supposed to receive a call yesterday about the repair status, but I never received it. So I called the store today, but it turns out the claim wasn't made because the repair technician who gave me my receipt wouldn't be back until this Wednesday. Extremely disappointed with my experience at this device repair store. I brought in my PlayStation Portal for a simple repair and was originally quoted a 1-2 week turnaround and a price under $90. Not only has it been nearly 4 weeks, but I was later told the repair would now cost $170--almost double the original estimate. To make things worse, they signed my profile out of my device without my consent and then asked me to share my credentials over the phone, which is a major security red flag. That alone made me uncomfortable enough to pull my device out of the process entirely. The first visit was also a red flag, with the staff pushing their subscription program aggressively. No way I'd sign up for something that delivers slow service, unjustified price hikes, and questionable handling of personal devices. Need a battery for my phone; Verizon sent them a work order. Employee A promised my phone would be ready in 5--6 hours. Twice, I asked him to take down my husband's # in the event that they have questions. I call five hours later. Employee B claims that he has been trying to reach me, unsuccessfully, to tell me that they couldn't fix my phone because they cannot find the work order. They apparently tried calling me at MY number--the phone in THEIR possession. I drove an hour back to this location to pick up my phone and take it elsewhere. Employee A then stated that in his opinion, my phone is malfunctioning because "it hasn't been turned off in 24 hours". WHAT??? BTW: When we dropped off my phone this morning, Employee A said, "Um, what kind of phone is this?" (Samsung 22+, nothing unusual) Next question: "Um, how do you know it's a Samsung 22+?" STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!! THE INNEFICIENCY, APATHY, AND DOWNRIGHT STUPIDITY IS ALARMING. read more

This is probably the worse repair shop by far. I drop my phone off on Friday to repair the front cracked screen. Promise that it would be fixed by Saturday afternoon. Got a call around 3:40 for pickup. Get to the store, Shawn the technician told me he need to calibrate the phone. Once he finish, I notice the screen was not attached to the phone, realized that they shattered the back of the phone. Took the phone back. They tried to fixed there mistake, which they did. But once i got the phone back the third time, the technician cut one of the cable. Had to wait another 3 days until the cable come in.Called Asurion, to complain, they gave me a run around. Asurion could of just replace the phone. The most inconvenience ever. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE, DO NOT GO HERE! was sent to this location by asurion to repair my broken iphone, although the website says walk ins welcome i made an appointment and got there 2 hour before closing and was told they couldn't look at it because they were short staffed and i should come back the next day on, I dealt with this for a total of 3 days in addition to the manager and employee being extremely dismissive and rude! the last straw was when i took of work to following day to get there when they open after going back and forth with them about not seeing my claim he then told me "I have to order the part so we can do it today". Ultimately, i had to ask Asurion to send me to another location in Stamford, it took 1hr to do what thy could int 3 days. The absolute worst. My First attempt: I made an appointment online and was quoted a price for my Iphone screen replacement. I went to the store at the time of my appointment and the were closed. The hours on the door are different from the web site. When I called to let them know. The response is they don't keep up with the hours on line. But you take appointments ?????? (Really???) I felt like I was in a Seinfeld Episode (You know how to take the reservation, But the most important part of the reservation is to KEEP the reservation). Waste of my time. My Second Attempt: I Made the first Appointment for 11:00AM for the following day. I went to them with my phone the following Day at 11:00AM when they were suppose to be open. Three customers were waiting and no one was there and the doors were locked. At 11:10am a young lady comes and opens the door and lets the customers in. The first customer is there to pick up a laptop, which they can not find. So she disappears in the back on the hunt for it. She comes back out about 5-10 minutes later and tells the first customer they will have to wait for someone else to come to try and find it. Now there are several customers in the store and she announces that I'll take anyone who is there for a pick up over anyone else who was there first or has an appointment. At about 25 after 11:00Am the second person comes strolling in (the tech guy I'm assuming). I finally get up to the counter and I show her my iphone and she says Ok we can replace the screen it will take about 4-5 hours and tells me the price $399 for the replacement. ($150.00 more than the quoted price on the internet). I tell her online that I was quoted approximately 45 min to do the repair and it would be $249.00 minus a $10 coupon I had. for the screen replacement. She said that was for a non OEM LCD Screen and we don't do those. Huh???? Why would they quote me on then??? She says "I don't know". She then tells me she only has an Apple Screen and it will be $399.00. Before I have the chance to tell her I'm not interested. She goes in the back to get it and comes out and says the one she has doesn't look good and she would have to order it for me. I told her not interested and I would either fix it myself or get a new phone. She say's "you can its easy". I wasn't going to invest $399 on a 2 year old phone that cost $1000 new. To be honest, I wouldn't go to them fix a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, let alone a $1000.00 piece of equipment that they may not find when you come to pick it up. One of the worst retail experiences I've ever had and another complete waste of time. Third attempt with New Vendor: I went home looked at some yelp reviews looking for another option and found Roaming Repairs with good reviews, I called them and left a message. Edgar the owner (Nice young man) got back to me within 1/2 hour. He came out to my home an hour later and put a new OLED screen on my Iphone in about 1/2 hour (looks good as new). He was polite, knowledgeable and saved me money even from the original $239 uBreakIRobU quote. I would and will Stay away from uBreakiFix at least the Scarsdale location as I can't speak on other locations, However I can only Imagine. Be aware. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Let's start from the beginning. Upon walking into the store a few weeks ago, it took over an hour just to drop off my laptop. A few days, maybe a week later, I received an email saying they would need to wipe the laptop to its original settings in order to fix it. I replied telling them to go ahead and do what they have to to. No response. I tried calling several times to get an update. No one ever answered the phone and there was no way to leave a message. I had to drive over there twice (2 consecutive weekends) to find out what was going on. Asked why no one answers the phone and I was told the phone doesn't ring in the store, the calls get forwarded to corporate. Asked why no one at corporate ever answered the phone or why there was no way to leave a message - no answer. FYI - I also tried emailing to get a status - no response. Drove back AGAIN to find out what was going on with the laptop only to find out they never started any of the work. Unloaded a nice rant, took the laptop and left. This place is the epitome of incompetence. Will never go back. read more

I brought in my MacBook on 7/14 and was told that it would be fixed the following day. When I called the next afternoon, I was told that it needed to be shipped to their warehouse and would be ready in a week. I called on 7/24 and was told that my computer was at their warehouse and waiting for parts to be fixed, that it would be ready the following week. I called on 8/3 and was told that it was repaired and that they would call me back with a tracking number in a few minutes, I never got a call. I followed up on 8/4 and was told that I would be called back with a tracking number, I never got a call. I called today 8/5 and was told that my computer was sent to the warehouse on 7/31 and that he's not sure why I was told differently. It's been three weeks, my computer is still not repaired, and I'm not entirely sure where it is. If I could give them less than one star, I would. read more

It may not be location specific, due to the fact that I had several re-repairs over the course of the last month to fix subsequent problems caused by an initial elective repair, BUT I wouldn't recommend the services of this company to anyone who values their time. Spending a total of several days without a phone is a huge debilitating factor in the modern world and situation. And any help from their customer service was all about run-arounds and avoiding elevating the situation. I made an appointment yesterday, for 4pm today, giving all the details of my phones make and model. After making the appointment no Information about the cost of the service was given. I reached out to customer service and was told based on my model and zip code the cost of the service would be $261.00 plus tax. However when the the gentlemen at the shop told me that the price was over $290.00 I was surprised. Then after consulting with his "boss" said they didn't even have the part of one of the most popular phones in America. I'm happy this store is open during the COVID. So, I had customer service call the morning of Thursday to make a reservation cause the New Rochelle store wasn't responding. I went to this store around 5PM and left my phone overnight and was told it was going to be ready Friday at 1PM. I was told the service is only 4 hours. They said they were backed up so I still thankful. The tech, Devante made the transaction very smoothly. My Note 9 front and back screen were cracked. I knew with the healthcare promotion, we can only get ONE service so I chose the front to be repaired. I was told I would get my phone Friday around 1PM, however after calling twice, it still wasn't ready. They called me around 6:48PM and they close at 7PM. I told them I am too far away and would come today, Saturday. This morning, my brother picked it up hassle-free, and guess what, THE FRONT AND BACK were crack free!! Worst service!!! They promised to repair my Samsung Galaxy cell phone screen in 24 hours. I overheard another customer complaining to the staff that he waited a week for his phone to be fixed and it wasn't fixed yet. I was hoping it won't happen to me. They told me to come and pick it up the next day which I did. They said not fixed yet. They said it takes time to fix. Next day, to avoid making another 1 hour trip, I tried calling to understand status. They won't pick up. Next day, they still won't pick up. 4th day, they picked up and said phone still unrepaired. Not enough staff. Again and again for 8 days this grueling, painful 'not yet fixed' status. On the 8th day, they picked up the phone and confirmed they are unable to fix it. I was getting concerned they would steal all the valuable info stored in my phone. It took them 8 painful days to tell me that the phone is broken and can't be fixed. I use my phone for business. Lost a lot of business due to no phone. Never go to this store!!! read more

WORST COSTOMER SERVICE EVER.......The worst place to try and have something fixed. Left an iPad on 3/13 for a battery replacement. I was told it would be done in a few days. Called Monday 3/20 was told battery was not in. Called 3/23 was told that it was not in. Called 3/27 was told it was not ordered as they did not have a large enough order to place with the company they use for parts. They said it would be ordered that day for Friday repair. Called Friday 3/31 was told it was not in. Saturday 4/1 not in. I picked up my iPad 4/3 unrepaired and they really could not care. read more

MacBook Pro wouldn't boot, and thought these folks could assist. At the end of the saga, i was not charged, because they couldn't repair it, but gladly would have paid a service fee to have this addressed professional and efficiently. First problem: Drop it off on a Saturday or Sunday, and they tell me because of Covid, will take a few days for someone to look at it - no problem, these are trying times. I'm told sometime that first week, it's a hard drive problem, we'll replace it and back up what you have. Hard drives on order, so will let you know when they are in. 2 weeks after i bring it in, they tell me it is not the hard drive, and they can't fix it. Second problem: I had to make several calls each week to get a status, even into the weekend. and each call, it was as if i was trying to reach Central Command, with long holds, a transfer which mostly went to the right person, but not always. I mean, their location is not a GM factory, so i wouldn't think communications would be so difficult. After one of my fonal calls, even got the "yea, i'm working on your machine right now" line. Maybe they were, but Third problem: So finally, i go to pick up the machine and this time take it to a professional. i flip it over to get the cereal number, and the foot pads are gone from the machine. Can understand they were likely pulled during the repair, put also expect to receive the machine back in the same condition in which it was submitted to them. Fourth problem (and this may be on me): so try booting up the machine, and the operating system looks to have been wiped. in the past, the familiar apple logo would tease me, before going blue screen. Now, i get a folder with a question mark, which means there is no operating system. So maybe this is a result of their "attempted" repair, so they get some grace, but still doesn't make sense to me. So even if my 4th gripe is not validated, these folks took way too long, were not professional in their communication or handling of my machine, and will not be getting any further business from me. read more

A very frustrating experience. The plug in port on our iPad was broken (it became too loose to support a charge). Staff indicated they could fix it. I brought it in to the Scarsdale store on day 1 and they said that I needed to come back Saturday as that is when the person who does that type of work is in. I brought it back on day 2 - Saturday the day they said it could be fixed - they checked and said they had the part and would fix by Sunday. I went in on Day 3 - Sunday - to retrieve it - they said "we don't have the part", forgot to call me to tell me, and they now said they would have to "order the part" despite saying they had the part the day before. 3 trips to the store. 3 different stories. No one seemed to coordinate with each other, mixed messages, and had no calls from them. The experience was very frustrating. I took the iPad back. I will go to Apple. read more

Usually go to store in Mt Kisco but Scarsdale was more convenient for this repair, cracked phone screen. I got there around 7-7:15 ish, they close at 8 pm and said my repair would be not be ready until next day. Ok, not a problem. At 7:50 I get a text that my phone repair was ready to be picked up. If I knew it would have been so quick I would have waited and saved myself a trip of having to go back the next day. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. On my laptop the left shift key practically stopped working. I called 9147689010 and asked if they think they can fix this while I wait. The man responding said that laptop keyboards can not be fixed, I must leave the computer there and they have to install a new keyboard. Web search provided more optimistic information. Pop off the key with a screwdriver, wipe underneath with the cleaning fluid they sell and function is restored. Fortunately, although I used far more force than would have been needed if the key had been meant to pop off, I did no damage. Next I put on my vacuum a nozzle almost narrow enough to fit between the keys and vacuumed around the key for several minutes. This made the shift key work again. The man who talked to me either did not know that vacuuming might be all that is needed, or he wanted to charge a large sum even if, after I left, he could repair the computer very easily. read more
