Called what must have been a corporate line to find out if they had a screen in stock for my IPhone SE. Asked if I needed an appt. I was told to just go into the store. Repair would be $99. Two days later drove for 1 1/2 hours to the store. He said he didn't know if they had the screen I needed and if not the OEM Apple screen would be $250. I left the store angry and disappointed. December 22, 2021 The computer hadn't even been looked at. I called a couple of times for a status update. Nothing but excuses.... they asked me if the computer had been looked at somewhere else. No it's been at ubreakifix for 4 weeks, then proceeded to tell me there was a missing screw and a dent in the computer. I don't generally leave all negative reviews, I usually have something good to say about a company. And I will say the individual staff members themselves aren't the problem. They try. But corporate probably needs to retrain everyone from the ground up at this location. Sad but true. I broke the screen on my iPhone 8+. Never had a problem with it before, and other than the cracked glass, I didn't have a problem after the screen broke. To be quite honest, it's the best cell phone I have ever had. So I was pretty motivated to get it repaired and I thought a little over the $100 to get it fixed in a couple of hours was pretty good. Since I am pretty handy and good with delicate things, my husband wanted me to order the screen repair kit and do it myself, but I said I didn't want to run the risk of breaking anything and then having to pay for a more expensive repair. Well, it may have been worth the risk in the end. If you want to take a forced tech break, U Break I Fix Twin Falls might be the way to go. My broken screen went from a two hour repair to a three week ordeal. They broke some microsolder and had to send it out to a place with microsoldering capability. They said it would take two weeks. The only other option was to put the broken screen back on and let me find someone to fix it, which I would probably have to send it to the same place and pay for it. So I said go ahead and send it out. I explained though that I only had one phone and I live rurally and have a myriad of issues that I need to be in touch with my spouse, my kid's school and my medical care. Well, two weeks became three. And since I had no phone, I kept having to drive to Twin to see if they got it back. I finally got it returned to me and it works beautifully, but I got no compensation for my trouble other than a 15% discount that I had to beg for. It was the single worst business experience of my life. I might have been less upset except I got a lot of run around from the outset and it just continued. Also a lot of blame was thrown around and complaining that they weren't making any money off the repair. Their breaking my phone, their failure to make money, their having to eat the repair costs caused by their damage are all not my problem as the customer. Unfortunately I will NEVER go back. I'm not really satisfied with the solutions offered or the resolution. Yes, I got my phone back in working order, but it was not worth the headache. They say this only happens 1 in 1000 phones, but that was not the impression I have gotten from reviews or even the people waiting this morning. I suggest you send your devices out and maybe pay a bit more. Some things are not worth the cost. read more

I have an IPhone 8 Plus that I needed my screen and ear piece fixed. I was recommended to U Break I Fix! What a great store!! The people in there are terrific!! I ended up getting my phone fixed and accessories for my new IPhone 12 Pro Max! They are so nice and so efficient!! 2 hours and I had the phone back in my possession and off and running. No sending the phone off someplace and waiting days to get it fixed!! They also have a 25.00/month insurance program you can opt in for. It takes care of all your electronics in your home to be worked on!! While I was in there, a young boy and his dad were picking up his game switch. I love my system, but lately it was louder than my actual tv! I was worried especially once I started getting an over heating error on most games. After looking online I was ready to spend 200 on a new fan just to keep playing my games. I decided going in and talking about the repair though would be best and I'm glad I did! One star because I can't go lower than that. I turned in a nintendo switch for a power port replacement with an expectation of 2 weeks for repairs. It's been 6 weeks now and it still hasn't been touched. The tech is never there, excuses are always made as to why (sick or vacation) and never returns calls. Save your time and money and just go to the manufacturer for repairs. It'll be faster even if it gets shipped to China. read more

I was referred to this business by Verizon to have my cracked screen repaired. The gentleman behind the desk was beyond rude. He asked if I had filed a claim. No, I was told you would. Then his phone rang and he carried on a conversation for over 15 minutes while I stood there. He advised he couldn't fix the screen. Phone rang and after 10 minutes I gave up ND walked out. Walked in after I went through asurion for phone insurance, greeted at the counter he had no problem finding my claim number. Since it was insurance they say a 2 hour max/min but they had it done when I walked back in after an hour and a half no complaints here. As the years go by, I have collected a large box of old cell phones. Having six daughters, I also have a nice collection of iPhones from their upgrades. On a whim, I took five iPhones (5c, 5s) to see what could be done with them. They all were deemed "broken" by the girls and all had screens smashed beyond belief. John, with a great voice for radio, accepted the challenge and within two days had 4 out of 5 working and with new screens. The price was steep at $75 per phone, at least in my opinion, but for $300 total I now had four fully operational iPhones that my younger daughters can use until they are old enough (house rules = 14 years) to get their own phone. With wifi, which exists just about everywhere now, these phones can do everything that a phone with a data package can do (call, text, music, videos, etc). John was very courteous and kept in constant contact with phone calls. I have since returned with my defective Droid Moto Z to see if they can fix my non-functioning power and volume buttons. If they can fix it, the bill will be $40-80 total. If they can't...they won't charge me a dime. Since new phones run $400-$999, I'll take my chance with uBreakiFix. Thank you for a great service (which I didn't get from the store inside our local Walmart. Stay AWAY from those guys.) AND for being open on the weekends! read more

I drove 40 miles to the Twin Falls store and they didn't have a battery for my phone. No problem, so I made a appointment for the next week. I left my phone number and email address. Went there the next week for my appointment only to find out that they hadn't got it. They should have let me know before my appointment. He said that they should get it in a few days and when they got it they would hold it for me. It was a couple of weeks before I made it back in there and the guy in front of me got the only battery they had for our phone. He said he could order me another one which would be in a week. I don't know if I want to start this all over again. As for me I think it's bad customer service! read more

So I brought my iphone to these folks to get the screen repaired and when it was done there was a mesh in the background of the display. Brought it back and they replaced it, all good so far. Then I'm in the Netherlands for work for five weeks and the display goes blank! Took it to a local shop and replaced the display and kept the failed one for when I got back to the states which was sunday 2 october. Called them monday 3 October and the service person said manager would be in today wednesday 5 october. I call today and explain what happened and he says "no warranty due to a third party working on the phone". I say you don't have a store in the Netherlands so how do I get it fixed? I then call their corporate office, same explanation and the person I speak to says the same thing "no warranty due to a third party working on the phone" So the moral of the story is DON'T EVER GET YOUR PHONE OR TABLET REPAIRED BY UBREAKIFIX if you ever plan on traveling. read more

Minus 5. I called three weeks ago on a Sunday at 5:05 pm and was told to bring in my ipads and they would get new battery installed within 2 days. So we drove to Twin Falls - live in Jerome. They closed at 5 pm but Yelp shows they are up until 7 pm. I called again and she again stated they would be around 2 days once we had the devices to them. We drove back on Monday and dropped off the devices. I called that Saturday and was told that the batteries had not been delivered yet and it would take 3 to 4 days after they were received. So we waited another week with no word. We went in last Sunday. They told my husband that the batteries had been delivered on 2/15 and then the tech was on his weekend but would be back Monday. Said he would get them done and then we had to wait 24 hrs for the glue to cure before we could pick them up. So I called Tuesday afternoon. Nothing has been done and he actually told me that they would not have told us any of the time frames as they are out 3 to 4 weeks. They can't get to ours because "there is a huge line ahead of you". So 2.5 weeks and we are told that we are lying about what they said and when we went to get the devices we were told that "Due to the way this all happened we will no longer be able to do business with you again." Funny considering they were not honest, ethical or professional in any contact we had with them. I would stay FAR AWAY from them. read more
