I went in through AT&T insurance coverage to fix my broken screen on my iPhone 13. Check-in was smooth. They said to come back in 2 to 3 hours. I gave the benefit of the doubt of max time and called back three hours later. No one answered so I left a voicemail. Called back 20 minutes later, still no answer. Left another voicemail. I got nothing. Called back three more times after I waited 20 more minutes and still nothing. Their communication sucks. So I went into the store and this was four hours later since I dropped the phone off. I confronted the staff about the lack of communication with returning phone calls and answering phones. The guy at the front desk was rude when I asked for a manager, and he proceeded to tell me to tell the manager to hire another technician if I wanted someone to answer back in a timely manner. This is not the way to do business at all. Communication and returning customers phone calls is the bare minimum of business and human decency. This business was recommended to me and that's the reason why I drove 45 miles just to get my phone repaired here. That's not happening ever again. read more

Came here to fix my z fold . The OEM inner screen protector started to bubble so I peeled it off. After about a month little mini cracks started to develop along the crease. I was within warranty so I decided to make an appointment , I was surprised there was availability but was glad they did. I was helped out by Kenia she went over my phone and inspected it and said yes it would be covered under warranty and the repair would take overnight. I got a call from them within a few hours and said the device was ready. Very impressive. When I went to pick it up I was greeted by a nice lady named Rhea if I butchered your name I'm sorry. When I received it I was very surprised they replaced the front screen , front and back of the device on top of the inner screen repair basically got a new phone now. Had the worst experience with this location I would rate this a negative. I noticed a shaking sound inside my phone like a screw is loose and called up Samsung. Samsung took down all the details, created an incident ticket and sent me the nearest location for a free inspection and fix because it's under warranty. The location was this Asurion location. I get to Asurion and there was a lady at the counter, I explained the issue and she said she can take the phone in but since the back is all cracked it will be physical damage and I'll be charged for it. I told her but Samsung said it was free. I had clearly told Samsung 2 times that the back was cracked and confirmed a third time that it'll be free. Samsung said as long as the front is not cracked it is free. The lady refused that it is free and that if she opens it the back will come apart and I'll have to get a replacement for it and that''ll be a charge as well. The manager walks in during this discussion and I ask him what can be done. He clearly says he can open it without breaking the back, he'll take a look inside and let me know if it can be fixed. He goes ahead and opens it without any issues, he sees that the camera stabilizer is shaking more than normal and it needs to be replaced. He asks for the incident ticket number and says he will send out a claim with Samsung and order the part. After that he'll create a ticket in his system and get the job in a week or two. Since they had just been acquired his systems were still not ready as well. I tell him I have to literally fly out in a week and by the time I'm back my warranty will be gone. He gives assurance that it will all work out in a week and to call in two days before coming back. I call in two days and a new guy answers I explain to him the whole thing and to my horror he is clueless. He looks in his system and says there has been nothing ordered or delivered. He tells me to check back in two days. I ask to speak to the manager and he says the manager is out. I leave my contact details with him since he said he'll let the manager call me back. No call came. I waited two days and called again, a lady answers and I tell her my story (believe me it was the same lady I met on the first day. Same voice) I tell her the story and she has no idea what I'm talking about. I'm beyond shocked at this point. She puts me on the line with another man and that man says if I come in he will replace the camera. However, I was outside and because of the background noise I told him I'll call back in 5 mins to finalize this. I call back in 5 mins and this time the man answers and is completely clueless about what I'm saying. He claims he is the only one in the store and I didn't call. So there is no lady, and he doesn't know what I'm saying and he is the manager. He claims he is the only one with access to order parts and there were no parts ordered. I am furious at this point because he is point blank saying I'm lying about everything. In order to calm be down he says he can order the part in 1 day and it'll be there with over night shipping, in worst case he can do it on the last day before I fly out. I obviously didn't believe his nonsense. However, I did go with his plan. He was to order the part and give me a call, I would go in and he'd replace it in 2-3 hours. It's been more than a week and no call till date. I did go to a different location the next day and got it fixed. This place is absolute trash. Don't bother going. The manager is convincing but doesn't get your job done. He only talks and takes zero action. The others working there are absolutely useless. Note to the location: If you can't fix it say you can't do it. Don't play dirty with your customer and drag it out. Take responsibility and don't be lazy. Don't lie to your customer. Negotiate, NEGOTIATE, NEGOTIATE! This location is super sketchy. I made an appointment to drop off my baby girl's Switch Lite, which had a broken Joycon stick. I go there, and the guy takes her switch, goes in the back, and returns, saying, it will cost you almost as much to fix this as the unit is worth. I said, for a joycon repair?? He said yes, nearly $200 to fix the joycon stick. I said but wait, I had my son's joycon stick on a Switch Lite a few months back, which only cost $80. He goes, it must have been a different location. I go, NO, it was this exact location! I show him the receipt, and he goes to the back again and returns, saying the tech will do it for $120. Again, why is $40 more than the last time?? Also, how could the price go down $80 from $200 in seconds?? Keep in mind I'm there with my 6-year-old, and she's saying, Daddy, I want my Switch fixed. So I agree to pay the $120, but this location is super questionable with business practices. And who's this tech in the back, randomly making up prices out of thin air but unwilling to face the customers and explain the price variances? I'll update the review with receipts from my old repair versus the new repair once I pick up her switch. Yes, I'll have RECEIPTS. I'm also filing a complaint with Asurion Corporate. I will post receipts to my social media as well so that customers know they can and SHOULD negotiate the prices! TL;DR -- I Break, They Destroy. Needed to get my S20+ in for a front screen repair. It was the only available location available with my insurance - a 2-hour roundtrip that I did 3 times. Went a few days ago - arrived and was told that they were full for the day and there was no option to schedule as it was first come first served. OK, the pandemic messes shit up, so figured I'd go early on Sunday (today) and wait. Arrived 20 mins before opening, with one guy ahead of me. We get in and his IMEI number doesn't match the service record - he's refused service. He valiantly tries to get them to resolve the issue but to no avail. Perhaps he keyed it in wrong when making the service request, but it's crazy that they couldn't help him resolve it on site. After 20 mins or so, he leaves, exasperated. If only he knew what was in store for me, perhaps he'd feel better :) I'm up next. All information matches, but their computer system refused to process the request. They get on the phone with their internal tech support. Another 20 mins or so later, and the issue is magically resolved. Next, a discussion about privacy - you have to give them your phone's passcode - they assured me that all keystrokes during their work would be tracked by a Samsung server. Of course, that only happens if it's connected to the server. Nothing at all stopping them from simply accessing my phone. Nonetheless, I figure they are not in the business of stealing data or committing other illegal acts, so, despite their illogical explanation, I handed over my phone. I get a phone call a couple of hours later, explaining that when removing the front screen, they cracked the rear screen (see attached pic) - it's a common problem they said. They would replace it with a grey one (they didn't have the original blue). OK, I said. I call an hour before they close to check up on progress. They tell me that they tried 2 new screens but none of them registered with the motherboard, i.e. they f'd something up. The good news, they said, is that the old (cracked) screen still works, so they were going to put that back on, and that I should contact my insurance company to ask them for a replacement phone. Not much I could do other than to go and pick up my phone. I pick up the phone and they've put the previously cracked front screen back on and the newly cracked (by them) back screen back on as well. Nice. Oh well, I thought, no big deal, it's already f'd up, just a little more now. But, the screen would not respond. They took it back to the "lab" to resolve the issue. Another 20 mins or so later, they return with the phone and start to give me a long-winded explanation about the sensitivity of motherboards and the octa-core processor and that because of this it basically wasn't their fault and so on and so on ... I don't know if an apology was coming or not but I cut him off and said, "so it doesn't work, right?". "No" came the reply! Grabbed the phone and walked out. Think I may have punched the exit door to open it. Have since called the insurance company - they were great - they will be sending me a replacement phone - but I'll hold off on claiming a satisfactory resolution until it's in my hands and working. read more

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon and I came here with an appointment because my samsung plan directed me to this location as it is the closest to me. I came when they opened. One bridge and one hour later I finally arrive to this dump. Everything was fine at check-in. The first guy said it usually takes 2-3 hours despite my receipt time saying 4 hours. Not wanting to go home because it's so far, I hang around the area waiting for them to tell me it's ready. 4 hours passed and I visit the store to check on my phone. Another guy is there and he tells me they're just finishing up and it should be another 20 minutes. I've already waited 4hrs so what is 20 mins? 20 min later still no call and I come back to the store and the guy says they found a problem doing whatever fake test he made up and that it would take another 1hr. I've already waited 5.5hours so I have no choice but to wait more. Over an hour goes by and still no call so I go in again and the guy tells me the part they had to fix it was defective. No communication whatsoever. Why did they force me to wait another hour on top of the 5.5 hours I've already wasted waiting? If I didn't go in after an hour I wonder if they would ever have called me. I came in because the big screen on my phone had a black line and the screen was unresponsive and they returned my phone to me with the screen completely black now. Worse than when I brought it in. Bottom line is I didn't get my phone fixed, it's worse than when I brought it in and I wasted 6.5 hours on a Sunday for them to tell me nothing would be done. These people gave me the run around all day today. Dishonest and a terrible way to run a business. They don't even deserve the 1 star I'm forced to select on here. Don't go here. Made my appointment online, then an hour before the appointment I get an email saying "Sorry we missed you, do you need to reschedule your appointment". I called to confirm my appointment before driving out. My exact words were "Hi I'm calling to confirm my appointment at 6pm". Without even asking my name or anything to confirm the appointment date/time, or asking what the problem with the phone was they reply "Are you trying to do a same day repair?" I replied yes. "Well we close at 7, how are we going to repair it in an hour". I said "your online scheduler didn't say anything about that". Then she tells me "Well if you do a google search you would see that we close at 7. How are we supposed to repair it in an hour?" 1) How do you know how long the repair is going to take if you don't even ask what the problem is? What would be the harm in taking a look? 2) Did you even ask what I had tried repair wise? Nope 3) Why would your appointment scheduler allow appointments to be made at 6pm? 4) The appointment canceled before knowledge of what is wrong with the phone or timeline of when I would need it was even established? Be careful of deliberate attempts by this location to get you to pay them money. If you attempt to get a under-warranty phone repair via google's warranty here, Asurion will tell Google that your clean, undamaged phone has cracks and damage all over it. This will cause the claim to be rejected, and then, Asurion will upsell you their own repair service for $175 to try to pocket that money. Google needs better repair partners. I've had nothing but bad experiences with multiple Asurion locations on multiple instances. read more

Samsung referred me here for a supposedly "same day" repair to my phone under their accident coverage plan. My experience with this store has been mostly a headache due to their disorganization and terrible communication. The technicians fixed the initial problem, only to have somehow broken a different part of the phone, which resulted in week-long delays while waiting for parts that didn't end up fixing anything. The supposedly simple repair turned into a 23-day wait that ended in the phone being deemed "unrepairable." Throughout the process, I had to wait for sometimes a week at a time before receiving updates on my phone's status, since the employees rarely picked up the phone. (Asurion's internet tracking of the repair never worked and my attempts to escalate/expedite the process through their corporate customer care were fruitless.) I'm awarding two stars rather than one because two of the employees had great customer service skills and finally helped me get the phone back, albeit in a condition worse than when I left it with them. (My technician tried to be helpful and communicative, but was clearly overworked and wasn't receiving organized communications about when certain parts for my phone were received or where they were.) Management needs to seriously rethink their organization system. This location was clearly understaffed and employees were overwhelmed by repairs and dissatisfied customers. It's hard for employees to be successful when there is no streamlined system in place for tracking orders, parts, etc. Next time I will be sending my device straight to Samsung read more

Honestly it was a horrific experience, I ended up locking myself out of my ICloud due to the tech telling me i need to log into find my iPhone just to get my screen fixed. I was locked out my phone for two weeks and when I returned to the store I was treated poorly by some lady who wouldn't provide her name and a guy name Anthony attempted to help but wasn't much help. I was told I couldn't get my phone fixed till June 19 which is an additional month. I had to ask for someone else to come help me because the first guy had no clue what he was talking about ! The woman attempted to down talked my 5 year old child that was with me, told me the money didn't matter and proceeded to call the police. Show up and they say "we don't have the parts, we can order the parts - but it'll take 3 days to get here" What is the point of having an appointment if they can't actually do what the appointment is for? An hour later someone comes out to tell me they couldn't fix my screen. There is more damage than just the screen inside. Once I got to my car I saw bright neon pink and green lines across my screen. These were never there before as I would've known it wasn't just a screen issue and the store Would've known as well when dropping it off. Extremely unprofessional to have me sitting in the lobby with my newborn when my screen isn't actually even being fixed. Why make me wait the extra hour?? Why not mention the damage THEY did? I used Asurion/AT&T cell phone insurance for years without ever putting in a claim and went into this shop on Aug. 9, 2022 to have an iPhone cracked screen repaired. Normally it's a 2 hr service but they advised me it would be done at the end of the day. I was okay with that. They did a great job repairing the cracked screen for $30.00 from my Asurion plan. The problem starts here: I received an email this morning from Asurion AT&T saying I signed up for the HomeTech Protection Plan. They used the wrong name in the introduction and provide me the information in small print. I did inquire about the plans because there's a large display and wanted to know about it. I did NOT express any interest in the plans and was happy with my current cell phone plan. I see this as a bait and switch. The insurance coverage was $30 and worth every cent for the repair, but not at the expense of getting a more comprehensive plan for my home for additional fee of $25 per month. I called Asurion who redirected me to AT&T to remove the HomeTech Protection Plan I never signed up for and then canceled my cell phone service I have for years with no claims except the cracked screen.
