The price was reasonable and he also recommended cleaning the inside as it accumulated dust (see photo), which explained the overheating issues I had to deal with frequently with the laptop. The cost of repair was reasonable and he also offered several pieces of advice to prevent similar issues in the future. I am very happy with the service and would recommend working with them for any Mac laptop repair.

Of course, everyone cracks the outer casing on their phones on occasion, and that includes me. I've had mine fixed a couple times before, and have been satisfied. The difference with Ojen is that he comes to you. In this case, we met at Tech Conference. But, typically, he'll come to you - wherever you are. His prices are competitive, and he does good work. My phone is back to looking 100% good. Glad I ran into him, and would definitely recommend Ojen. Oh, and his business card is really cool - it's a fun take on his business.

So basically, my ALREADY totaled phone fell on the floor, screen display completely destroyed... Weird thing is that it was still perfectly functioning. Couldn't live with myself having that kind of phone, and I wanted to fix my display as soon as possible... I noticed this place and with no expectations that my display could ever be fixed (since it was REALLY totaled), I went in with no hope whatsoever. The worker greeted me and kindly asked if I needed any help, and I asked were there any chances of survival for my screen, he named the price and I gladly handed over the phone. TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES later, my display was just as NEW. I didn't even know that THAT cracked, destroyed screen could ever be fixed... They deserve an even bigger attention than they get, honestly, bearing in mind that there are so many clumsy people (including me) cracking their phones. :) 5 ! read more

When my phone got damaged with water, it began progressively getting more difficult to use as the week went on until the screen turned entirely black. As a college student, my funds are limited and I considered looking into a third party repair after trying the rice trick to no avail. Having never consulted one before, I was skeptical and had my doubts, by after looking at Ubrokeit's reviews and Gregory's responses to the negative ones, I felt a bit more confident in my decision. He had a quick messaging response time and when I took my phone in, he was straight to the point and had my phone looked at in no time. It turns out only my front display was the problem and I ended up getting an OLED screen replacement. I had my phone back in working order in two days and I'm extremely happy to have it back. Brought in my daughters iPad 6 for a screen replacement. Gregory worked to replace the glass but there was an issue with the glue on the replacement so we had to go with a different color glass given he did not have another white glass in stock. He attached the new black glass replacement with no problems and I left. The screen worked fine for an hour or two and became slow to touch response before becoming completely unresponsive. i called and left a VM with him that we needed to have him look at the iPad issue and he called me the next morning to come in. He determined that the replacement glass was defective and replaced it with a white one that works flawlessly. Cannot say enough about this guy's customer service skills. Thanks Gregory your awesome, my daughter loves the new iPad glass we can't thank you enough. read more

I've now had to use Greg twice and both times I've been amazed. My first visit my screen was shattered. I dropped my phone off and 10 minutes later he returned and the screen was changed and working perfectly. My second visit I called him on a Thursday night because my LCD screen was completely shot. I couldn't use the screen or receive calls. The entire screen was pulling up and completely inoperable. I thought for sure I needed a new phone. He promptly returned my call and told me to bring him my phone. It was late and he still took my call to make sure I had use of my phone. Again, fixed and $109 dollars for the repair. I urge anyone who has an iPhone that needs repair to call him. read more

UPDATE: Ok, so my screen started coming off (4 months later). Two things you should know: 1) The screen shouldn't be coming off. Period. After talking to several technicians, I've come to the conclusion is that Ubrokeit should guarantee their work and repair it for free. (He refused to do this---offered to repair it at cost for $63). The parts--or the adhesive--are most likely in some way faulty. 2) I did not know this: If you take your phone to a 3rd party repair shop, Apple will not touch it. If you have a warranty, you're screwed. Ouch. Take my advice, and have it done at an Apple Store. read more

I cracked the screen on my 4S one morning a few weeks ago, and decided to yelp places close by that I could fix it through. Greg's work with UBrokeIt came up right away. His reviews were wonderful and he was close by. I called him and gave him the information he needed, made an appointment for that same morning, and had a very positive experience. He met me outside and said it would be about 15-20 minutes. As I sat outside reading, he was back 10 or 12 minutes later and the phone looked perfect! I cracked my new iphone 5s screen and couldn't find anyone who wouldn't charge me the same cost as a brand new phone. Until I found Greg. Greg was reasonably priced and very professional. After meeting with him, I was on my way with a fixed screen in 30 minutes. Over the next week I noticed the screen no longer had the same sensitivity to the touch. I picked up my kids the other day and as soon as my daughter is climbing into the car her iphone drops and the screen breaks. luckily a friend had told me about this place and so i came. I dropped of the phone without an appointment and went to go buy some things. thankfully they had the screen it needed and it was fixed. Be sure to call and make an appointment, and be aware it's at a house in a quiet residential area (I wasn't sure I was in the right place, but I called and Greg came outside to meet me). Highly recommended! Tried calling a few places around Monterey Park and Rosemead and not only were they more expensive, they also said it would take 40-45 min. Greg was only $100 to fix a shattered iPhone 5 screen AND it only took about 5 min to fix. I was surprised though to see that he runs his business out of his house and not a store front. Sure, I'll save 10 bucks going there but the parts they used to repair my phone are extra cheap/bad quality. The colors look funky and the touch is not Apples quality, it looks and feels cheap and weird to the touch. I would've rather used some other more reputable service instead of this sub par. It's kind of a shady operation also, you have to drop your phone on a half open door in this dude's home, not even feel welcomed or legit. Not recommended, keep looking! read more

Ubrokeit was fantastic! My iPhone screen was completely busted and the LED was gone. My earpiece wasn't working either and Gregory professionally fixed in under 15 minutes. I dropped my 5S and smashed it up pretty bad. To the point that I was slicing my fingers open just to touch and swipe the screen (my fault for being dumb, noone else's). I took it to Apple and was told they had messed up the hardware and there was no way to fix it, so I ended up having to order a brand new phone. Do not go here unless you can afford a new phone. On top of it, I tried to update my original review after I found out they broke some hardware in my phone, but they tried to bury my updated review. I have since deleted my original review so that they don't highlight it and mislead others. Their service was so bad that I've taken the time to write a new review to warn others because it cost me hundreds of dollars to get a new iPhone!

Went to Express and they diagnosed and replaced the internal charging port in about 45 minutes. Worked like a charm and we were able to transfer the photos/videos. Good service and reasonable price.

Not even close to the apple oem screen quality. Would never take my phone to this place again. Now I have to pay double to have Apple actually give me the right screen.
