Rami is a true professional. Our first time contracting with UCS for a Napa area-SFO transfer. Prompt arrival with a welcoming greeting. Loaded our gear, was very respectful assisting my wife into the higher-than-usual SUV passenger compartment. Sparkling clean interior, chilled Fiji water offered with a tray of mints available. Passenger area climate controls are very responsive. Rami was a smooth, professional road operator. Arrival was a few minutes earlier than we anticipated which we appreciate to extend our Virgin Clubhouse Lounge time prior to departure. The service in the Bay Area, even at 4:00 Am was excellent. The opposite occurred at JFK and in New York and CT. While it was a long drive (3 hrs) to CT, these 2 drivers chose it. And they were reimbursed a lot of $. The first driver seemed ill-constantly coughing, complained re: the drive & amongst other things, demanded a larger tip. The co. Did apologize and sent a different driver for the return to JFK. While he was more apropriate, when he arrived he sat in his car and did not come to get the bags. My son had to bring (the 2 small bags) to the car. At the airport, he said he had 2 hrs until his next pick up and wanted lunch, so he just dropped my bags by the curb and l said but l should get a wheelchair (l am 75 and had a cane with me) he just gestured oh go inside they will help you.. l ended up at the wrong counter. I specifically requested a sedan. Half the reason for renting a car in the first place is because sometimes my back acts up horribly and it is extremely helpful for me to know there is a safe place to go to and recline if necessary.All my various confirmation emails had SEDAN on them. So I was deeply disappointed when the driver puller up in an SUV. As inconvenient and disappointing as that was... I was dumbfounded when I later called the company to request a small repayment because they did not provide what I thought I paid for. They told me that I did not in fact have a sedan reserved. This response denied what I had in front of me in black and white. There was absolutely no way the guy was going to concede anything. I was told that I ought not complain because the SUV was an upgrade. I told him that it was not am upgrade to me and that I was confirmed for a sedan. I even told him fifty dollars which was 1/8th of the price I paid would make me happy. His attitude towards me is that he could not have cared less.. read more

We have used this service numerous times from our home in Pacifica to the SF airport and back. We have two young children, so having a car pick us up, load the luggage, unload at the airport is a HUGE help. Great service. They send emails the day before to let you know who your limo driver is going to be. When the driver is dispatched, you receive text messages to let you know that they are on their way, that the have picked up the passenger and when they are dropped off at their location. Fantastic service! Anyone looking for courteous, empathic, professional service, especially after minor medical routines will be VERY well served by United Car Service. I recommend them without hesitation. My wife had eye surgery on Monday. We used their services and my wife couldn't stop talking about how satisfied she was. But that's the ending, you have to hear how we got to have such a good experience. We planned for a friend's son to drive her to the outpatient surgery center and back. Thinking things may change with the ride, I called a couple of car services on Friday. I told Michelle at United Car Service about the reason for the ride. She pleasantly assured me that she'll be able to arrange for the driver to go inside and escort my wife out to the car and make her comfortable through the ride. She gave me a fixed price and said the fee is all inclusive. I didn't book the transport because I was reasonably sure the prearranged ride will be available and I was not certain when the operation would end. Come Monday, the day of operation, the friend's son didn't show-up. My wife drove to the surgicenter and i called United Car Service. Another very pleasant person answered the call, in 2 minutes the pickup was scheduled for 2:30 pm, I knew the name of driver, Lucenda, and had paid the expected fee on credit card. I was advised surgicenters are apprehensive about releasing patients to car services and to please let them know Lucenda is authorized to pickup. At 1 pm, 1.5 hours ahead of schedule, surgicenter called to say surgery went very well and my wife is ready for pick any time. I called the service for earlier pickup. The friendly voice assured me there wont be a problem; after a brief hold, told me driver is at SF airport and will be there in 30 minutes. Lucenda appeared earlier than 1:30, went inside to escort my wife. She is a very private person and isn't easy to satisfy her. She was so impressed with the attentiveness and professionalism she asked me to write this review. These are nearly her words. The driver came inside spoke slowly and in a low voice. He was so careful in approaching me and making sure I feel safe and comfortable. He helped me to the car he had prearranged with the front seat pulled to well forward to give me plenty of leg room; lifted my feet and situated me in the car. all the while speaking encouraging and caring words. Once in the car, he kept very quiet giving me time to rest and drove gently. At home, he escorted me to the door, used my keys to open it; watched me go in and started to leave. I offered him a tip which he refused and said it's all included. Can you imagine! He refused the tip I gladly wanted to give him because of his personal attention, and in addition to what's included in the fee. Fellow Yelpers. My wife wouldn't be happy unless I wrote this long review. She is happy I wrote it. That mean I am happy. United Car Service provided exemplary service, conveniently, at a competitive price when my wife and I needed it. We are familiar with apps like uber, etc. to get quick car service from one place to another in the city. However, when a service is needed from Mountain View to home in San Mateo, it's best for us to have United Car Service stored in contact list of mobile phone. read more

We have used UCS for years to get us to and from the airport, having gotten to them through a referral from a friend, and have never been disappointed. They offer excellent customer service, and always arrive early (which as someone who doesn't like to be rushed can be stressful, but they're always gracious in waiting). We usually have them bring car seats for our kids, which is exceptionally convenient. One time we arrived at the airport with an extra bag that was not intended for our trip and they kept it and brought it back with them when they picked us up. No taxi would have done that! read more

I had a reservation with them last week. 1st off this place is falsely advertised it's actually located in San Mateo. Beware this company doesn't take care of the vehicles there's body damage & maintenance problems as a customer I was riding in a SUV that had a check engine light & was making sounds & half the bumper was hanging off & held together by a piece of rope Long story short don't book with this company I'd hate to see a group of people end of like those women a few years back who died because there limo blew up. read more

Best Limo service ever! We take limos whenever we travel. We are used to good limo drivers and limo companies all over the world. UCS in SF made our top 3 list of all time. The pre-planning was simple and complete. Their notifications of the driver being on the way and then when he arrived was special. The driver, Ben, was amazing. He was not only an excellent experienced driver in metro SF but he was also a good conversationalist. We have tapped UCS Limousine and Car Service for our company's biggest events that happened in Los Angeles and New York. Our biggest events involve transporting hundreds of people to and from various locations, handling top executives on-ground travel needs, etc. There are schedule changes that could happen anytime. But Lohan and UCS Limousine and Car Services and his network of drivers are always on time, always calm, polite, steady, reassuring and cool even if there are many times that they have to navigate through hellish traffic. Their vehicles are very clean and in mint condition, lending excellent representation. They also accommodate extended hours.
