Never been here before, looked up the menu to see vegetarian choices. Ok cool, saw a couple of options, and I liked the 3 course meal option as well. Our waitress Maria was amazing! She was full of energy, and extremely informative. So ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip mushroom. This was really good! I would go back for this alone. The portion size is sharable for 2 people. The bread and butter.....Oh lawd! That butter is so soft and fluffy! This is where you need to be careful! Or you will be full before your meal comes out! The beginning of the disappointment! Then the sad salad came out! This was some Iceberg lettuce, and a few croutons, and the salad dressing was just creamy, and flavorless! They could have thrown some tomatoes and onions on that salad! it is an Italian restaurant, right? Just saying Mushroom Sauce We read this dish wrong, we were expecting white sauce with mushrooms, it was a marinara sauce. I wouldn't have ordered this 1 of 2 options for the vegetarians. But this sounds like the mushrooms are sauteed in the sauce. No! It looks like they opened a can of stewed cut tomatoes and laid a few mushrooms on top! No effort at all with seasoning it. It was just bland. Didn't even want to take it home and doctor it up. I literally just took about 4 bites, and I couldn't eat anymore! I should have ordered Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter instead of the mushroom sauce pasta! Maria was super nice and asked how we liked it! We told her we didn't. This is the worst spaghetti factory I have ever visited. As a frequent business traveler I sometimes look for established restaurants where you know what to expect. Spaghetti factory is one of those. This location in Clovis is the exception - not a good experience Last time I was in town i went into the restaurant and was seated in an area where after 20 minutes of not receiving any service I went up to the desk and asked for another section. This wasn't much better - i was seated at a table for 2 - i finally had to flag down the waiter and asked to order and was told that she was waiting for the second person to arrive Today I am in Fresno again and decided to try it again but do takeout due to the poor service. Update 5/9 Followed-up with the email suggested. Had not received any replies. Decided to get comfort food for late lunch. Told we had a 10 minute wait and no one was there. We get seated and our server was on it. Asked about Boyd's coffee and she said she didn't know the brand so I asked her to check. She came back immediately and said it was Boyd's. When I ordered it she said she'll have to heat it up... coffee was hot but not fresh. Asked her for fresh coffee. She did come back with a new cup, but honestly it tasted the same. Food was good. This place is gorgeous inside! The hostess was very welcoming, and the busboy was so kind when i accidentally dropped my water glass. The waitress was not very attentive, and we waited a long time for our food. The Sicilian meatballs were very dry and hard to cut through. However, the meat lovers treat dish was delicious! I've been here many times before and it's always a smile and great choice. The food is good and the staff is kind. It's a great place for gatherings of any size, whether you're coming with a big group or just a few people. They have a few rooms available if you need to host a party and have different catering options. You can't go wrong with any of your choices. I usually opt for your good olde spaghetti and meat balls or the fettuccine alfredo with a side or Cesar salad. Server was pretty friendly but did take a while to bring additional items upon request. Food was pretty good and came out in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken breast fettuccine Alfredo. The broccoli was a bit dry, I think if they incorporated the vegetables with the sauce they would taste a bit less dry. Overall service was ok, food was pretty good. So, I am not an Italian girly who loves pasta and it's actually the cuisine I crave least but if it's done right, I don't mind eating it. I have relatives who like to host their parties here so I have been here a couple of times now. Each time I experienced exceptional service and the food is pretty darn good. I think my favorite thing is the salad and the bread -I can just eat that on its own, the only thing is I don't like that we have to slice the bread ourselves. I wish they would do that prior to serving it. The bread is extremely soft and warm. My go to dish is their lasagna. It's a perfect balance of cheeses and sauce and meat. I like that they don't overdo it with the ricotta and the sauce has a lot of chunky tomatoes on it, which I enjoy. The spumoni ice cream at the end is the perfect treat and has a wonderful pistachio flavor profile. The interior is vintage and dark - kind of quirky, and I like that train in the middle of the restaurant, adds a lot of charming character. This place used to be my go to but ever since new ownership it went down hill. The customer service is really bad and the food was bad. I used to love coming here as a kid I had every birthday here growing up, spaghetti was my favorite. Today just reminded me why I don't come here anymore. My fettuccine had no flavor broccoli was steamed and looked like they just threw 5 pieces on the side my salad was bland and the pesto was not the same. The chicken Marsala was dry. The restaurant is beautiful impeccably decorated and atmosphere is awesome the staff is amazing and so friendly and inviting especially Jace this waiter was amazing and took very good care of us, this place was packed with people and lovely but the food I give a 2 the chicken fettuccine was not good the chicken was so dry it was hard to swallow there was not enough mushroom sauce to rehydrate it. My friend had the same experience as I asked her without telling her my thoughts so I can get a different perspective. We came here for dinner on a friday night. They were pretty busy and said we had to wait about 20-0 min but our table was ready in 15. They placed us at an awkward spot which was next to the hallway that went up a level, which is kind of gross because you are at face level with people who are walking up to the next level. Walking in, we were welcomed, and asked to take a seat while they readied our table. There were 10 of us. We were seated within 15-20 minutes. We had a lovely table by big windows looking out on the patio. Beautiful! Service was wonderful, cheesy bread, oh my gosh, soup or salad oh so good! We walked in around 1 p.m.--prime lunch hour--and the place felt like a ghost town. Dim lighting, a lobby full of people waiting, and not a single hostess in sight. Waiters walked past us, not one offered help. We tried asking someone--anyone--to seat us. Nothing.
