A few months ago we purchased a Chrysler Town & Country through Uftring in North Pekin. Negotiations were done primarily through email with the sales manager and it was extremely easy to come to an agreed upon price (which was a couple thousand less than I was expecting to pay). Determining a price for my trade was just as easy. I reccomend them every chance I get and would definitely buy from them again if I'm in the market for Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicle. Only part that wasn't great was the hard sell from the finance manager on the extended warranties and fabric and paint protection. A few of his tactics were questionable. Ultimately they got us a rate of 1.59% vs. the 1.99% we were going to pay through our credit union so even that worked out well in the end. Ah... I'm also not thrilled about the fact I can't schedule an oil change. I've been able to do that everywhere else I go. I prefer to have my maintenance done at the dealership where I buy the vehicle. The one time I've gone so far they got me right in. But it's out of the way and I'd hate to drive all that way to find out they're too busy to get to it or that I have to wait an extended period of time. First time that happens I guess they'll lose my business to the Walmart that's 5 minutes from my house. read more

I would recommend that they take responsibility for their actions and mistakes while servicing customers vehicles. While having some work done on my Promaster Van, somehow many things that needed to be moved and removed for the service needs of my particular repair, were not reset properly. Hose clamps loose. Coolant all over the engine compartment after it was refilled. Related: Coolant not topped off after the engine was run up to temperature. The hood was out of alignment, which I was assured was not their fault, although I'm sure it WAS in perfect alignment before they worked on my van. The cowling between the windscreen and the hood was broken and out of alignment. There are greasy fingerprints on the body and my van outside the engine compartment and hood. The drain line for the cowling was not properly secured, and this is all that I've found so far. They seemed to be much friendlier and more eager to please while I was getting my vehicle worked on, but after the fact they had no problem insinuating that I didn't have any knowledge about the condition of my vehicle when I brought it to them for service. I will NEVER again own another jeep in my life. This was the first jeep my husband and I purchased we normally go through Lexus (which we still have our RX350) the jeep was suppose to be our "fun" vehicle. Lexus will schedule you for an appointment and will come out and speak to you regarding issues they find etc. ask you if you'd like to take care of it today. Keep however my service lights came on at one point, I drove it over and they said it was a sensor light, but schedule an appointment and they'd be happy to turn it off (really it takes 5min) I had to schedule a time, leave my job to take it over for a 5 minute job. I then had my oil changed free one, mind you my jeep has under 13,000 miles we don't drive it very often because it's a gas machine. The gentleman came out told me I had a minor oil leak in my engine and I can bring it back. at the end of the week. I dropped it off the day before a big snowstorm to ensure it was there. I have a loaner and let me tell you I don't care what I get as long as it gets me to where I need to go, this loaner has every light on the dash on, broken piece on the driver seat, stains all over that are stuck with pieces of things and the best part is I got this loaner with the gas light on. I got a call a couple days later they were unable to find the leak, and they'd keep the jeep because it was a mess under neath from the oil leak (had they fixed it that day they wouldn't be wondering where it is) . I got a call recently regarding my jeep stating they found the leaks (funny there was no "s" in the original finding so I have to leaks, they need to order the parts, that was over a week now and I haven't heard a word. I wouldn't recommend this service department to my worse enem. I already heard horror stories on jeeps that have had engine or anytime of repair done that it's been incorrectly preformed and now their jeeps don't run the same. read more

I just purchased a new Jeep from them and it broken down on the highway while I was driving it home. When I called to tell them about this 5 minutes after I left the dealership they told me the service department is currently closed. They are telling me it's my problem, when I've literally owned the car for 5 minutes. HORRIBLE service and the general manager is awful. He even hung up on me. read more

I can't say enough nice things about the staff here at Uftring CDJR. I live in Southern California. It is impossible to find a manual transmission Jeep Wrangler here, and I was told by multiple dealerships that I would be waiting 10-16 weeks if I ordered one from the factory. I found the exact jeep that I wanted. The only issue was that it was in Illinois at Uftring. Tyler, the sales manger, worked with me every step of the process. He was attentive and answered all my questions without any pressure to buy, upgrade, etc. He provided all the information, paperwork, updates, and assurances I needed to buy the car. And although he said that it would be possible to ship the car to me, I chose to fly out and roadtrip back. He, and the rest of the staff, are just as nice in person as they are via email and over the phone. And while it means a lot to have a nice staff, it meant more that I got a great deal from Uftring. The pricing was incredibly fair, and there were no hidden charges or aftermarket add-ons that upped the purchase price. I hope to have this Jeep for a long, long time. But when it comes time to shop for another, I will definitely look to Uftring first no matter where I happen to be living. read more

They will NOT CALL clients back after "taking messages" and I've been going back and forth since the end of January with this very nightmare. These guys had the only new Durango R/T package and color combo I wanted east of the Mississippi ....instead of using my normal dealer I gave them a chance. The negotiating was fairly easy because I wanted a quick deal, but when it came to delivery this place was terrible. Since I was out of state they would not take a check from Navy Federal Credit Union and forced me to finance with Fifth Third (terrible). The paperwork took more than 3 hours, and the vehicle needed repair and detailing. They knew I was leaving the state after scheduled pick up...the paint repair was finished, but the tire balance and detail was not. I had to ask my local dealer to finish their work. I bought in late Aug, paid the loan off Sep 11th, now 11/7 and Fifth Third still hasn't released my title! No attention to detail from either the dealer or their mandatory bank. read more

I purchased a car here back in March of 2020 and the experience overall was smooth and enjoyable as it was my first time buying a vehicle. I purchased a Chrysler 300 and about two weeks later I notice that the dash is starting to peel back where the leather meets the windshield. Upon further inspection and research I come to find out that this is a very common issue in 2011-2018 Chrysler 300's and Jeep Grand Cherokees. I then reach out to the salesman who sold me the car and he states its no problem they will take care of it just make an appointment with the service dept. However by the time I come in for my appointment the salesman is no longer with the company. So now it becomes "did the salesman give you this in an 'I owe you' (which they give you if they need to take care of something still after you leave with the vehicle) and if not then he will have to speak to his manager and see what he can do"...they take pictures and tell me how unlucky I am because that is an expensive job and send me on my way saying they will let me know. Never hear from them. Fast forward to about a month ago I finally make another appointment to see what is going on and get a tune up amongst other things including sensor issues that are covered by the warranty I pay for every month. Once again I am told how unlucky I am because its a tough job and they cant seem to find the parts they need to fix it anywhere then they stick me with my $600 service bill and send me on my way. Long story short I do not recommend this dealership. read more

Today, this dealership lost a costumer. If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a new van here in 2016. Our first clue should have been that we finally had to contact the sales manager to get an appointment. (It was probably worked in our favor as all the paperwork was basically done when we got there.) Fast forward and we've had this now 2 year old van in for warranty work twice in the last few months. Fine. But today the service department showed their lack of communication and honesty. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. Fortunately for us, there are other places to take this vehicle for warranty work, and to buy future vehicles. Save yourself the lesson, go elsewhere. read more

I wish zero stars was an option. My biggest issue was i had my car there to get some recalls fixed. They called me and told me my starter needed replaced for $1,000. I told them not to do that i'll have my mechanic tow it and do that work. My mechanic told me the starter was fine, somebody yanked a wire out of it. I asked if it could have fallen out and he said no somebody would have pulled it out. So they tried ripping me off of $1,000 for a part i didnt need. The recall was for an alternator, they never hooked the ground wire up to the new one. When i got my car back and went to leave there was a dirty rag just laying on the front seat still. When i got home the center console area where the gear shifter is never got snapped back into place. So they tried ripping me off for $1,000 and did pretty terrible work on top of that. I will be posting this review everywhere i can find and i will be reccomending to everyone i know to NOT ever go to any uftring location. My mechanic told me he buys parts through them and he will not be doing that any longer. The next day I found the pocket underneath the passenger seat was left open and the cover just thrown in the back and found a plate with screws that i hvent found where it goes yet. I'll start out by saying that I would give zero stars if I could. Shopping for a new rim, naturally I inquired at the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. The first person I spoke to on the phone was short and did not want to work with me on price. The second person I spoke with on the phone, after shopping around, clearly wanted to make a sale and offered me considerably less. I should realized at that point that something wasn't right. The second representative was able to give me the rim for 200 less; for the EXACT same brand/model than the first employee I spoke with. Keep in mind that was without ANY haggling or trying to negotiate with them. After the rim was replaced and the service was "complete" I had, what I assumed was, the shop "manager" and the representative come to me. They proceeded to tell me that my tire air pressure sensor was bad on that tire and it needed to be replaced. Prior to coming into the dealership; I had that exact tire AND a brand new sensor put on at Firestone in Pekin less than a week before. I told the gentlemen this and I requested the sensor be PUT BACK ON the tire and stated I would take it back to Firestone because I had a warranty. I get into my car to leave the dealership; the sensor was sitting in my cup holder... Needless to say; I went back to Firestone. They tested the sensor and put it back on for me. There was ZERO issue with the air pressure sensor. Uftring in North Pekin tried to HUSTLE me and failed to put the sensor back on so that I would not notice until I went to Firestone. I will never return to ANY Uftring dealership with any of my vehicle needs. read more
