On-demand medicine is too complicated. I found that UCMH provided me with excellent full knee replacement surgery. The latest procedures including robotic surgery were used causing faster healing. My surgeon and support staff were excellent, including the pre-conference allowing any questions to be answered and the actual procedure and post procedures were excellent. Likewise, the UHS UCMH is excellent. But one must understand that to understand the patient a full blood panel is essential and accurate history. Our medical needs necessitate looking at any results from our computer portal. If anything seems confusing it is necessary to ask questions to understand any possible issues at the onset.

They do the bare minimum to help get patients better. If they truly cared, they would provide more thorough care. I do understand people have the right to appeal a discharge but why would they stay any longer when the care is shitty as hell to begin with. They overwork the aides and pile so much on them. More than than what they should be doing. Twice now you have caused my mom to be in critical condition for the lack of proper care. DO BETTER CMH. YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO HEALTHCARE AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. FROM WHAT I SEE, THIS COULD BE CONSIDERED MEDICAL MALPRACTICE.

Linda Davis Spent a week here for pneumonia and Sepsis. Was…read moreextremely sick. Everything was great except 2 employees. Noone in bathroom, toilet low, bending over to put foot in attends and rolled off on L side. Was a clear bandage with blood under it, came off so there was blood on floor. She scresmed at me and put alarm on my bed. That was not the only time she yelled at me. Writing this because keep thinking why did I not stivk up for myself. This person and one other night before I came home may stop me from ever going there again.

'Desiree' checked us in but was quick to tell us it would "be a while because they were doing reports." We sat in the empty waiting room....for over 30 min with no one updating us on when he might be seen...in the EMERGENCY ROOM. His pain getting worse I stepped up and asked Desiree if she knew how much longer we'd be waiting as we'd been there for over 30 min. and his pain was increasing. (Waiting rm still empty except us). Desiree immediately snapped at me "You don't need to come up here with all that attitude!" (The only 'attitude' I had was concern for my husband and at no time during that interaction did I so much as raise my voice. I simply asked the question). Desiree then informed me that there was a shift change going on and we'd have to wait! In the empty EMERGENCY ROOM. I went back and updated my husband who by this time was doubled over. I stood up and asked Desiree if she knew how much longer they'd be before he'd be seen. "How am I suppose to know?" She snapped at me. My husband had enough and stood up to leave telling Desiree that it was crazy to show up in the ER and be forced to wait over 30 minutes in his condition because of 'reports' being done and shift changes. Bottom line: Fox Hospital EMERGENCY ROOM is the WORST! If you're having an emergency please avoid it at all costs, especially at 7:00am when apparently 'reports' & 'shift changes' outweigh the health and safety of patients having true emergencies. Side bar, Desiree literally covered her name tag up with her hand when I asked for her name. She finally uncovered her first name when the security guard walked over. We will be calling Bassett later today to report her and the poor excuse for an EMERGENCY ROOM.
