They then asked if I wanted to submit the charge to Medicare, I agreed. Medicare did not cover this service, which Im sure they knew Medicare wouldn't, then they sent me a bill for $160. When I asked why they said because Medicare did not pay, I explained that I was quoted $114 and paid that amount. They then said that if they didn't submit the charge to Medicare I would only have had to pay the quoted price, but because they submitted it and Medicare refused, I was now responsible for an additional $160. It makes absolutely no sense, I refused to pay but they keep sending me a bill every month.

Dr Manning came out and introduced himself and our exams began. The exams were thorough, he explained everything to us in lay terms. Adam and Dr Manning now have 4 new customers. We just felt they went above and beyond and who doesn't love that?? ** UPDATE ** 5/23/20 I called Adam and explained that the nose piece was bothering me alot and making those little red dots on my nose. He explained why it could be happening in detail as this is my first pair of glasses with them. He told me to stop in which I did. He took a look at how they were fitted and tweaked them a few different times and even heated up one arm to get that right where it should be. They now fit amazingly and no more irritated nose. We ended up chatting about LBI and mutual friends we both know for awhile. Definitely personal service and he/they treat you like a lifelong friend, not just a means to $. I was there for a diabetic eye exam and to check on a YAG laser procedure I was told I might need. It was the way it was done that I objected to. The technician did not identify her role and did not say that if she did an exam, she would be charging me. They had me do a whole bunch of stuff and frankly I don't know what was supposedly the refraction. The ophthalmologist did many of the same things. Through yelp, I found this place and read some positive reviews of Dr. Lee. I made an appointment for myself and two kids and we all had our eyes examined by Dr. Lee. He's friendly and I never felt rushed through our appointments. He made sure to answer all questions and concerns. When our exam is done, we have the choice to get our prescriptions written and head out to another place to shop and shop here directly. Honestly, I knew I needed the Asians fit so I browsed around to see what they have on stocked. It didn't take too long for me to fit 'the one' pair of frame. It was light weight, cute and fits my face perfectly. The best part is the frames are reasonably priced compared to my other Asian fit frame I purchased in north jersey. 20% discounts are given to customers who doesn't have insurance for frames and yes, unfortunately that applies to us. I'm happy with my glasses and so is my son. For my daughter, there were no change in her eyesight exam which is great as she can still wear her existing pair.
