I came here before the Beyonce concert hoping for a nice hairstyle before the concert. I originally booked with Becca M. because she was the only one available at the time I needed..... & now I see why. I showed her my inspo and she seemed to understand my vision and agree that she could do it, I didn't care what process she took as long as my hair look good and similar to the inspiration. As she was doing my hair I could tell it wasn't gunna come out good but I was trying to trust the process. When it was done, I HATED IT. & asked her to fix a few pieces and she reply's with " well aren't you wearing a hat anyways?". I was stunned, actually speechless. And asked her well can you at least curl these pieces and I pulled out a piece of hair that was straight. She "fixes" some pieces and was like okay done. Mind you it took her about 15 minutes to do my hair and me and my sister arrived together and her artist hadn't even finished 1/2 her hair yet. It felt rushed and like she did not care if it was done well or not but just that it was finished, and she left shortly after. I was wildly disappointed, I actually didn't even want to pay for the service because it was so bad. Luckily, the artist who was doing my sister's hair was the sweetest person ever and a bomb stylist. her name was Destiny C and she was nice enough to fix my hair!!! She deserves 5 stars and I appreciate her patience and understanding. My hair came out so great and looked amazing for the night and even lasted till the next 2 days. You can tell she knows what she's doing and cares about her clients. read more

Was a bit early for my pickup! But Trinity was really kind and helpful. She helped with my order immediately.

I usually love this ulta and have great experiences with the employees. When I went in the other day there was a nice lady who helped me find the concealer I was looking for but when I went to pay the cashier Sharlene sounded very aggressive while greeting me and scanning my items. It felt like she was yelling at me. I know these employees go through a lot and maybe she was having a bad day but I just hope it wasn't something I did to make her upset. On the bright side she didn't ask me to sign up for the store card which is always my least favorite part of shopping at Ulta. Not a bad experience I just think the customer service needs to be worked on. read more

There was an employee speaking very nicely to a customer before me and all I did was ask had the Born This Way makeup section been moved (I go to a different Ulta more than this location so I wasn't sure if I was thinking of the other store!) and she immediately gave me attitude and when I asked where it was, again attitude!!! If I wasn't working on myself & having a good day I would've been a you know what back, but again working on myself!! I came today for 3 pm blow out appointment with Missy and told her I'm celebrating my birthday tonight and I showed a picture of a blowout I got at ulta 3 days ago. I am incredibly upset that my hair took an hour and 45 minutes for a blow out just for it to come out straight. Missy told me after an hour and a half of blow drying it and adding product that she couldn't do it so she called her mentor who told me "this is a blow dry, not a curling appointment." I said I didn't want it curled, I want a blow out for more volume and showed her the same picture I showed Missy. I left with my hair straight. They both couldn't do anything for my hair and I was surprised that they handed me a receipt to pay at the front. I left crying and now it's too late to do anything to my hair before my dinner tonight. I highly suggest you book your hair appointments elsewhere especially for a special event, like mine tonight, which is now ruined. I paid $50 and drove 30 minutes to get here. read more

BE WARNED; I made 2 appointments at the salon, for 12 pm today. 1 for strip lashes and 1 for a blow out for my 94 year old mother. We got there 20 minutes early, in the hopes of starting early as it is my son's wedding at 3:30. The lash appointment was fulfilled at 12 but we were bumped from the blow out. The text saying the appointment had changed ( was cancelled) came at 12:04, 24 minutes after we had checked in. No phone call, no stylist coming over to where we were sitting right at the check in desk to apologize or explain why the appointment had been canceled. I asked to speak to the store manager who at was able to confirm I did indeed have the appointment, because the other stylists were adamant I hadn't booked an appointment. This is absolutely beyond terrible. There is a reason to go to a traditional salon to get your hair done. Thank goodness Fantastic Sam's had a 1pm availability where is where I am writing this review from. Shame on you Ulta. I know the loss of one customer won't be affecting your bottom line but I sure will be telling everyone about this awful experience. I wish I could give a zero star rating but unfortunately that option is not available. read more

It's unfortunate that I wasted my time coming here to return some powder brushes that were useless and poorly made. However, Manager Henry was rude and wouldn't even offer me store credit. I didn't have a receipt, but I would have accepted store credit. Instead, he offered me $1.63 for a brush that I originally spent 9.00$ dollars on. I am visiting from out of town and headed on vacation. I needed a blowout and I was unfamiliar with the local options. I made an appointment with Ulta, and had the pleasure of getting one of the best blowouts ever from Luann. Despite never having worked on my hair, Luanne was able to give me a beautiful blowout, a deep condition and wonderful result. I highly recommend her for any of her needs. I walked up to this girl asked this girl if they carry any cream foundation palettes and she literally just said "NO" with the most judgmental look on her face. This review is for the salon. I went in Saturday afternoon to inquire about getting my wedding hair done. When I arrive to the salon area there is 1 client having her hair done, stylist is at back wall preparing the color, she doesn't acknowledge me so I figure she's busy, no big deal. So the sweet young lady who's getting her hair done is talking to me & stylist walks up and starts doing her hair, makes zero eye contact and asks me what I need, I told her I was interested in having my hair done for wedding, she states "I don't do up-do's, so I'll let *insert another stylist name here* take care of you." I never stated I wanted an updo, so I told her I didn't plan on getting an updo, she then said " well the other stylist will be better for you" ok...I get the point, you don't want to work with me, ouch but ok...no need to be rude & dismissive.
