When I took them back to the store, the manager said "It's our policy" to make the customer return the defective item. She wasn't at all interested. Another friend said her husband wanted to buy a beard trimmer there but they wouldn't let him open the box to LOOK at the product. "That's our policy," he was told. "We won't be able to sell it if it's open." He doesn't shop there, now. So, we will never be spending a dime there again. It might be OK for cheap things like make up or hair dye, but DO NOT buy anything expensive....unless you want to get stuck by "our policy."

During the consultation, I clearly asked for very minimal, natural-looking highlights and specifically said I wanted to avoid excessive blonde because I had spent a long time growing out previously damaged hair. I explained that keeping my hair healthy was a priority. The final result was the opposite of what I requested. My hair ended up orange and red in areas, with multiple uneven tones and very brassy sections. The owner of the salon even assisted in styling my hair at the end of the appointment, which makes it even more surprising that I was allowed to leave with my hair looking the way it did. I contacted the salon owner afterward and sent photos showing what I had asked for compared to the result. Instead of offering to correct the service, I was told the toner must have washed out (I had not washed my hair yet) and that I would need to pay for additional toner to fix the color.
