Take what I say with a grain of salt, since I primarily use pickup, so I really appreciate that pickup is located right at the front of the store. Thank you! I can't stand when pickup is all the way in the back because the store wants you to walk through everything and hopefully browse and shop. I understand the marketing strategy behind it, but I really appreciate how convenient pickup is at this location. They have almost everything under the sun, and if they don't have something, the staff is usually willing to help you get it. The staff is friendly and helpful, but I also appreciate that they know how to give you space when you want to be left alone. They're really good at reading the room, which I value. They also have a great perfume collection. The only issue is that many of the testers are often empty. Maybe it's just the days or times I visit, but Chanel and Tom Ford testers, in particular, are usually empty by the time I get to them. Of course, they're great perfumes, so I understand why the testers get a lot of use. It would be great if they could restock the testers more frequently. It would also be nice if they offered small perfume samples in vials, similar to what some other retail chains provide. Overall, though, I really enjoy this location and the convenience it offers. read more

Lines are ridiculous with only one cashier. Kennedy completely just walked away from the registers seeing that there were 10 people in line waiting to pay, and left the other cashier by herself. The cashier had to ask for backup on her mic and Kennedy came back on the registers. What was the point of her leaving in the first place? Today was one of those days that I left with products I'm so confident about AND it was due to every single employee in this store. She found the exact match for foundation for my skin type and color and I left this store with literal glam that I almost cried about it looked that amazing. Took my daughter to get her ears pierced and had a horrible experience. Even though they carefully marked where the piercing would be, she decided to make the piercing on a different area extremely close to another piercing that she already had. She was about to put the earring in and we quickly asked her to stop. We left and waited for her piercing to close before going elsewhere for her piercing to be done correctly. read more

Just saw the corporate response from Ulta. Well Ulta your local manager called me to apologize for the inappropriate actions of the security guard and Jessica. Maybe you should have done the same. In Florida the mask mandates were lifted a long time ago. The day of my visit there was a notice on the door recommending mask not requiring masks. No reason for the security guard and Jessica to act the way they did. I make a huge effort to not shop online and shop in-person so help our local economy. It took you a while to respond to this review when your local manger did a very nice job responding quickly and according to the circumstances. Your response is inappropriate and does not reflect the non mask mandates in Florida. Maybe you should reconsider your response and apologize verse the garbage you wrote. An employee offered assistance while I was there but 1-didn't have an idea what Age Perfect Radiant was, 2-looked it upon her phone and then simply stated "online only". Normally Niger, helps me at the MAC counter when I visit this store and always does an excellent job. Never had an issue with her, and she does exceptional work. Very poor customer service. In particular the associate named "Breanna" does not know how to assist customers. She failed to disclose important service and product information before arriving to the register. Also, followed me around the store after a 17 minute application of only eyeshadow and eyeliner at the MAC counter. I guess she thought I was not going to make a purchase after the service, and followed me around only to see if I was ready to pay and not to see if I needed assistance with anything else. Honestly, I did not feel to purchase anything with her after such an unprofessional experience. Nevertheless, I made a purchase and she explains to me that my purchase must total a minimum of $30 (I was only going to buy one MAC item which totaled less than that) because the service lasted for 30 minutes, which it did not. I ended up picking up another item to fulfill the service charge but remain very dissatisfied with the service I received from this particular individual. Not to mention the application was subpar for that of a professional. Will not return to this location at all. ULTA can definitely hire better associates that this one, as great customer service is a pillar of an industry like this one. read more

Nicole (I believe she works in the salon but was helping on the floor that day) helped find me the perfect Urban Decay glide-on eye pencil and Nygir (I believe that she is MAC sales associate) found a matte MAC lipstick that was subtle and actually complimented my complexion. I Love coming to The Salon here. The staff is super friendly and are great. The downside to this is you having to pay in the front of the store with all the other shoppers especially when you're in hurry and there's 2 people at the register a day before a holiday. I literally stood in line for 20 min and Gabrielle the girl who rang me up said " It's a day before Christmas Eve everyone just came up to pay all at once we have everyone on the floor thank you for your patience!". Really? Why don't you hire more staff or have more staff at the register. What good is it to have staff on the floor selling, when paying is a total nightmare. Very poor staffing management on the managers part. I'm more shocked on a employee blaming a holiday for not having enough staff. So I called on Sunday early afternoon for any potential openings that same day for a blowout and flat iron not expecting to get anyone with such short notice. Best salon ever!!! I went in for a platinum bleach streak and it turned out flawless! The hairstylist Nicko did an amazing job. She was patient with me and listened to my needs. The process was super smooth. She informed me about all the products I need to upkeep my hairstyle and make it last even longer. Horrible management. This store needs a new team. No personal experience or knowledge. They are very rude. The bad energy in this store is felt upon walking in. My coupon was canceled after needing to cancel and repurchase my transaction. The manager told me that she could not apply my coupon anymore and that I needed to call customer service. I did so but had to wait for them to send resend the coupon. Came to this Ulta Beauty today because it is the closest one to my house. Never again. All the ladies were very attentive and willing to help but only one out of the four that I asked something to was really able to assist me and get me one of the things I was looking for. Not sure what her name was since she never told me and by then I was already irritated enough about them not having any of the products in stock that I was looking for or just plainly had no clue about what I was talking about until I had to search it online at the Ulta website to show them. I believe it's extremely unacceptable for these ladies to work at a place like this and have no knowledge of the products they carry or where things are located at the store. At the end of it all, I spent $200 on several other things. I had previously seen the lady at the cashier register give a small gift to the person in front of me so I asked they were giving out any samples. She said no samples just a small gift for making purchases. She then proceeded to hand me my bag and said thank you. No gift whatsoever was offered and I had just spent $200! Crazy experience. But not on product.
