[[HIGHLIGHT]]Angela a LM Laura Mercier Rep. at Ulta Prosper was very kind, steadfast and knowledgeable about LM's products.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She made me feel welcomed and she easily knew what I wanted/needed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She also was delightful, caring and personable in our banter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This experience was one of the best makeup recommendations/ mini consults that I have ever had! Thank you, I ended up leaving with LM primer, LM Concealer, LM powders, eye liner, lip gloss and lip liner and more that I needed.

Best service I've ever received at Ulta. Jenny hooked me up with all the right shades, making this elder millennial feel 21 again. I found this sample of discontinued Tarte Shape Tape & I needed to have it. Whoever that angel at the cashier was.... THANK YOU! You're set with good karma for 2024. Come see the girls, they are wonderful!

This is how my hair looked after the service

This is the worst place for salon services. I have been a ULTA salon customer for last 10 years (thankfully different locations) and referred numerous friends and colleagues. this happened first time. I had an event to attend next day and then I am flying for work. I went for a highlight, let the stylist know that i am looking for red highlights, showed her couple of pictures from internet, she suggested one of them against others as my hair is black/brown and I agreed She kept on pushing other items ( olapex for 25 bucks, it will be good for the toner, root touch for 66 bucks - otherwise highlights will not look good) I agreed all of it just mentioned only thing I am looking for is RED highlights on my black/brown hair i also told her I had a hard stop at 3 hours (she insisted that everything will be done by then). 3.5 hours after, I am left with light copper highlights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When asked she said "not a big deal- you can come back and we will put toner again". Didnt i say that I have an event next day and travel after? isnt that the reason for my 225 bucks hair treatment?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well she said she cant do anything now and told its not a big deal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I wanted to escalate she said she will call her manager and then disappeared[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to go and request multiple person and then after 20 mins manager talked to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She again offered me that they will fix the hair another day, which I declined. Then she offered me a discount which I accepted. Now I am left with light copper highlights on my black hair that looks like a botched henna job on grey hair. Probably I will go to a different salon to fix this. Thanks ULTA for doing this to loyal customers.

I'm new in town, recently retired RN from OC Ca, and knowing no one here . I was desperately looking for a compatible long term hairdresser, with whom I could negotiate. I needed root coverage on white hair with a Schwarzkopf color. Was told ,"The more upscale salons were farther away." A couple of business owners recommended Jaimee , but not the salon. It was so close that I tried it anyway. The atmosphere in The Fringe Salon was how it had been described, all business and unfriendly. The woman attending the desk was too absorbed in her paperwork to even look up at someone coming in, and when she did, it was without a smile or greeting. When I took a seat , no one asked me for whom I was waiting, nor offered me a bottle of water. Jaimee was worth it. She was a good listener and worked with me on the color and a brand she was not familiar with. I was delighted to find she was not one of those, "We only use these brands here." She was polite and kind , willing to learn what it took to help and please a client. She studied , showed me the product , did not substitute. And, she offered me water. I now have happy hair.

I was open to a solid full color if matching my current color wasn't possible and perhaps a trim. When I called for an Anthony mentioned in reviews, I was told he's no longer here but the other ladies are experienced. I booked an appointment and came in over the weekend. I'll admit letting someone new do anything to my hair is nerve wrecking. I ended up spending 3 hours here and paid for a laundry list of services (color, partial highlight, low lights, toner, cut, blow dry). I was shocked when it was time to pay, $350 + tip totaling nearly $400. I haven't had highlights or low lights since high school! Maybe it's a thing here, I'm just not personally into it. I really like to keep things as natural as possible and don't like putting bleach or anything along those lines in my hair. I got home and cried to my best friend trying to explain I had stripes in my hair now and they look orange. My hair is naturally curly and not a lot of people know how to blow dry or flat iron my hair properly. I felt horrible that I was charged for a blow dry because as soon as I got home I immediately got in the shower to wash all of the product out of my hair, that was put in, in an effort to blow dry it. It wasn't sectioned and blow dried or flat ironed and it felt like a mess. It was also trimmed after this, so now that I've blow dried it and flat ironed it out there is a questionable section that appears to need to be trimmed. I typically get a dry cut after a Brazilian blow out so my hair is completely straight for it. I really wanted a Brazilian blow out until I found out that would be $350! I could have flown home to my girl in LA for my roots, and a Brazilian for less than this. Call me crazy but no hair appointment should be over $800. The girl who does my color, cut and Brazilian would loose her marbles if I told her this. All in all this just isn't a style or look I like or would want to pay to keep up. I feel like as soon as I need my roots done, it would be so obvious that I needed more stripes or whatever all of this is called vs just a solid root color. I'd hate to immediately go pay for a solid color to be put over the $400 service I just paid for but at the same time it doesn't feel like me at all. Although subtle enough (which again, why did this cost so much?!?) that most may not notice, I know that I never have this done to my hair. I saw a bunch of clients coming in which is great for them but this salon isn't going to be the one for me as often as my hair grows the price for services is just outrageous compared to what I'm used to paying. I like the solid dark brown sections and I'm completely confused as to how I had all of this excess going on when I specifically booked a root touch up or solid color and trim. Sometimes you feel a bit taken advantage of when things like this happen.
