I loved all the different colors they had to choose from. The kind that I wanted "Essie Gel" they didn't really have any colors that I liked, so I opted not to get any. My daughters and I frequently come to this location as it's near by. The stock they have on hand varies and sometimes there are a lot of empty slots on popular trendy items. Purchasing online is at times better. I was wanting to buy perfume for Valentine's Day. I was surprised that once they unlock the perfume they do not hand it to you but they walk it to the counter. I don't know if this is a normal process due to perfume thieves. The service at the store is consistent. The assistance I received at perfume was friendly and helpful. However the service at the register was robotic and appeared they were counting the minutes until their break or off time. read more

I walked in with hair uneven and choppy due to breakage & she helped me achieve a full even healthy hairstyle because she did an amazing job cutting it. Why would a big bald guy be in Ulta you ask? Well; I was trying to Christmas shop for my wife. She loves cosmetics and goes to Ulta all the time. It started out so well. One of the ladies spent at least half an hour walking with me around the store, helping me pick great items she went above and beyond. I had about $600 worth of stuff. I was in line for checkout and struck up a conversation with the woman standing behind me. To make a long story short she had a flyer that had a 20% off coupon . She told me that you get them when you're a member. My wife is a member, she shops here all the time. When I got up to the register I gave them my wife's phone number and of course she popped right up. I kindly explained to the cashier what I had just learned about the 20% off coupon, explained that I had no idea about such things as I don't buy cosmetics or shop there. I asked if they would be willing to give me the 20% off. They refused. They told me that not everyone gets them and you need to be a member. I explained that obviously I had no idea about any of that and that my wife is a member. They basically told me to pound sand. But we are talking about $120 at this point. So I canceled my transaction and left without anything. What a waste of time! they could have easily done the right thing. I felt taken advantage of and used. It wasn't the money as much as the principal. I don't do business with people who treat me this way. You shouldn't either, if they treated me this way they would absolutely do the same to you. I completely forgot that Ulta closed at 6pm on Sundays and walked in at 5:50pm, whoops! I was looking for a new foundation and concealer color, Brandon graciously offered to assist and helped color match me, for both! Despite being so close to closing time, he never made me feel rushed nor did he come across as anything other than genuinely helpful. I am always getting my eyebrows done here at the benefit bar in Ulta Durbin pavilion with Olivia. She is absolutely the best. She always does such a great job and slays my eyebrows. If you ever need to get your eyebrows done definitely make an appointment with her! She offers many services such as waxing, plucking, eyebrow tints, eyelash applications/removal and soothing eye masks. She also recommends the best products to use for them as well. I have been here a few times since it opened. I have had a bad experience both times. The last time was last Friday 5/7/21 around 1pm when I went to pick up my curbside order. I checked in on my break in the parking lot. After 20 minutes of waiting in my car with no confirmation and no sign of anyone I walked in. I went to the counter and two women at the counter were helping another customer for a moment. Then after she was done the one girl was getting ready to leave there (with me standing right there in the same place I had been for the past 5 minutes in clear view) and the other woman turned around and was clearly on her text messages now because I could see all of her texts from where I was standing. She clearly thought that was more important than speaking to me. At least the other girl acknowledged me with "hi, are you ready". Like really why else would I be standing there? I told her I was there for a pick up. She goes through the pick up order section, THEY HAD NOT EVEN PULLED MY BAG YET. I walked over to the pick up counter, and then they ask me for my ID. I'm like I have my order confirmation on my email... my wallet was in the car, now the woman who was on her phone says "I'll do this you go to the counter"... she's like no I'm sorry it's for your protection we need to see your ID ma'am. Okay so not only are you incompetent now I have to go to my car to get my ID even though I have texts and emails right here for you to see!!! Maybe I would've had my wallet if I hadn't been waiting with my wallet in my lap for your so called curb side pick up. Of course I forget my wallet after wondering if anyone was ever coming out with my order. I of course got my ID and showed her and got my mascara. I would've been better off just going in and buying it at the town center. I have never had this experience at an Ulta in my life. I will never be back to this location. I went in yesterday to get eyebrow stencils and saw they had a blowout bar. There were two stylist and no customers, so I decided to try . The blowout I received was ridiculous. One short wash and conditioner. Not much more than that. Went to her chair and started to get my hair dried. I felt like a rag-a-muffin with her pulling my hair in every direction The brush got caught in my hair and was tangled. I asked for my roots to be lifted and that did not happen. She curled my hair with a curling iron that was self- winding. Asked her where she got it, she said " I not supposed to say this, but I got it at my old job at ..." and she told me where. Yikes. As I was walking to pay I was feeling my hair and it was still damp on the top. Really. All at the prime price of $40.00. What a joke! I've always loved coming to this location rather than the Town Center. Yes, they have some employees there that do not meet the expectations of Ulta. That's everywhere. I just stay away from them, do my shopping & leave. It is what it is. U cannot please everyone & its 2021, ain't nobody gonna do anything about it. I love the fact that it's closer to home, I can do in store pick up & not have to pay shipping on certain things. Get my eyebrows done if need be & be on my way.
