I had my third appointment at the Salon at Ulta Beauty Seminole yesterday and I love the results. Evelina takes the time to discuss with me what I'm liking and not loving so much about my hair on each visit, and we go from there. Her skills are top notch, and I always walk out feeling beautiful. The salon staff are friendly and cooperative with each other, not just nice to the client in the chair at the moment. It is a comfortable atmosphere, which adds to the salon experience for me. As for the store itself, my first time in it was a little overwhelming, but I have never been in the store longer than 45 seconds without someone asking if I need help or if I'm looking for something in particular. I have been going to Ulta Beauty Salon for over a year every 6 weeks. I asked about hair extensions and they scheduled a consultation with Randi (assistant manager). When my stylist told her I was her consultation appointment. She looked at me with a blank look! During she was very disconnected and clearly wanted nothing to do with it! She couldn't give me a price or the cost for maintenance. She said she would call me maybe even later that day. The next day I called and she told the girl that answered the phone she would call me tomorrow. Been over 2 weeks and no call! This is poor customer service and unappreciated as a loyal customer to the salon and the retail store. I loved my stylist Mida but will not return because of this very poor rude customer service. I went in for a wash and blow out because I was having severe knee pain and waiting on a knee replacement surgery. Washing and blow drying my hair is nearly impossible these days. I for the life of me can't remember the sweet lady's name who did the blow out. I think Kristin? But she was the sweetest most compassionate hair dresser I've met. Did the best blow out I've ever had and will continue to come back because of her talents and the way she treated me. read more

2 stars to this SNOBBY location. I stopped by after my beach day was cut short by afternoon showers. So, I obviously was dressed down and not wearing make up. I'm young, so I guess that means I wouldn't be buying expensive make up...at least, that's the way the make up artist treated me. She was complaining about her job to friends and didn't even acknowledge me. She acknowledged a lady that was older than me right away that was looking at the same make up as me. Wow. So rude. That lady didn't even buy anything.The guy at the Benefit counter was alright and helped me find a lip tint. I was just reading other reviews of this location and there seems to be an on-going theme that the customer service is very poor and most of the customers leave feeling disrespected by rude employees. Not sure how long this location will stay open for if they don't start training their employees properly. I hardly ever give less than 3 stars, so my rating is saying a lot! read more

Always great prices, great sales, and great coupons at Ulta. I prefer to buy my hair care products at Ulta instead of at my hair salon because I can get the same products and the prices are better at Ulta. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me find a new dry shampoo to try. She suggested the trial/travel size so I could make sure I like it before switching brands. Good idea! She also helped me locate other items I was looking for, such as the hand soap that I used in the restroom. I had a coupon that I received in my email, but I forgot to use it when I checked out. Fortunately, I was still in the parking lot when I remembered. I went back inside, the cashier returned everything and rang up everything again. The cashier was very nice and friendly during this transaction and I was very apologetic for forgetting in the first place. I will say that I wish they would ask if you have any coupons or rewards to use because it would save us both some time! In the end, my 20% coupon saved me almost $16 so it was well worth my effort to go back inside the store. I highly recommend Ulta to my family and friends. read more

I have been shopping at this store since it opened. I am a diamond rewards member. I was originally warned by several business associates to not trust the company. Although I have no issues with this particular store, I do have issues with the company at large. In an attempt to solve an online order, I have found that the consumer service representatives are dishonest. After repeated phone calls, the dispute has not been resolved after being told on multiple phone calls that it will be resolved. This company cannot be trusted! read more

I'm rating it 1 star for the lack of customer service. I love Ulta and was really excited when one opened up near my house so I decided to check it out. Every ulta store is set up differently so it can be quite hard to navigate. I had a list of things I needed and couldn't find any of them because it was either out of stock or I just couldn't find it. I walked past probably 8 employees and didn't even get a smile. Finally I asked someone for help and she told me she wasn't sure and gestured to the isle where she thought it was. So I left and do not plan on returning to this location. read more

I was greeted by the cashier as I walked into the store, but after that I was never spoken to again. I wandered around the store for about 15-20 minutes, trying to find what I was looking for, hoping an associate would even walk by so I could ask for help, but there were absolutely no sales associates on the floor -- none. [Even the cashier disappeared after she finished checking out the customer she was helping when I walked in.] I would have thought that on a quiet Thursday evening, associates would be jumping at the chance to do something [i.e., help someone]. I could hear a group of them talking to each other in a back room somewhere, but apparently none of them thought I was important enough to come help. I am very disappointed with my first experience at Ulta and am reluctant to ever go back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Brittany the "store manager" is a total b*tch. She doesn't listen or care what customer say. She didn't like what I had to say and didn't even pretend to care, so in the middle of speaking she says good and have a great day. I said I'm still talking and she says good bye louder and turns away. I said I'll be back to return what I bought sense your useless and don't care and she say great and walks away. How is she a manager after talking to people like that! Well I think I can find help at Macy's for 250.00 in stuff I'll buy from them. I called ulta rewards and the lady claims a district manager will call me but she doesn't know if he can help me or not when I said should I hold off on returning everything. The staff are friendly usually but not knowledgeable in my skin tone so the make up is way too dark and yellow. I think they only care about the sale and moving to the next customer. I need someone that wants to help me and sell me good quality make up that looks good on my skin tone. I will stick with Macy's because this place is as useful as cvs or Walgreens at Dillard's or Macy's prices. So now I have make up I can't wear and she wants to charge me more to replace it with same product different color because I used reward points. She would not listen that it should be the same price as it's an exchange not 32 more for a different color. Buyer beware! read more
