I knew what I wanted and had done enough research and been to enough Honda dealers to move quickly assuming we could get to a reasonable price on the new car and on my trade. Mine was an unconventional deal in that I was mostly dealing with the sales manager rather than a regular salesperson because they were all busy. But honestly that worked better for me because I was already past that and just looking to complete the deal. After some haggling and negotiation we got to a reasonable deal and I walked out with my new car. So I got the car I wanted at a reasonable price. I like the car so overall I would consider myself a reasonably happy customer. The reviews on Sullivan Honda seem to be generally favorable so I guess I'm not the only one. So I guess it f you need a Honda you could do a lot worse than Sullivan!

The interaction left me feeling positive about this dealership, so I requested an appointment to see that specific car. They confirmed my appointment via text multiple times. The morning of the appointment (that's today!) I decided to text that same number to confirm that the vehicle was still there, as the drive to this dealership is almost 2 hours from my home. They responded & told me that the vehicle was sold, but I should take a look at their other options & let them know which I was interested in so they could have them ready for my appointment. I never showed any interest in their other vehicles. I was very clear that there was one single car I wanted to see, & so that's the car I made an appointment to see. They sold the car & were never going to tell me. They were going to let me drive 2 hours one way to find out the car was gone. That's a really dodgy business practice. Not only will I not be buying a vehicle from a dealership willing to waste my time like this, I'll definitely be advising other people to stay away as well.
