Everyone at the front desk without fail welcomes the customers with a warm smile. Regulars are treated as special guests, chatted up about classes, asked about their day. High spirits prevail. It's more like we're walking into a birthday party. I'm amazed each time with something as simple as a check-in process. Keeping up this level of customer service awareness takes more than just training. It take courage from the managers. The trainers take time to get to know the students, and not just our names either. Throughout class, they encourage, they motivate, they get the best out of us, which isn't always easy forty-five minutes into a one-hour intense boot camp. We're lucky to have such a welcoming place here in Seattle, where customer service and warmth are occasionally hard to find.

As documented in email communication, one daughter tried to cancel the account on the Trufusion by calling and the website, but it did not work. So finally your staff acknowledged that the system was not working, and agreed to cancel her membership in December, but would not refund the $160 charged since she left in August. As your documentation shows, our other daughter called two times to change her membership. Our daughter asked to cancel, but your staff put her membership on hold without informing her of the monthly charge and automatic reinstatement of a large monthly charge. Both girls left the state in August and would not have agreed to continue to pay $11 monthly fees and a $130 automatic renewal fee since they do not live here. We now have paid approximately $500 since August when both daughters left the state and neither has used their membership since then. So .. no.,, they are not happy withTrufusion. And my warning to others continues, get every effort to cancel your membership in writing and document your conversations.

If you've ever done a workout in the rain, you realize it's still way more invigorating than being indoors. I'm excited to have found this spot, and am hopeful it will whip me back into shape.

Plus, I've been getting my muscles back. So exciting! This is such a great fitness program, and the instructors and participants make it easy to be there at 6 a.m., in the cold, dark Seattle fall. Across the board, everyone is incredibly friendly and inclusive. It's not a bunch of brides trying to look good for their big day (which is great! this would be your ticket!); it's mostly fit moms who are committed to long-term health and fitness. I feel closer to my community, which is a hugely unexpected and positive consequence. I've been going 3 days a week at 6 a.m. at the Phinney Neighborhood Center parking lot, and some Saturdays at 8 a.m. at Golden Gardens. And, really, this is good for any fitness level. I could barely keep up the first week, and I've come a long way in the past month. Each workout is different and challenging, and the hour flies by.

The fitness instructors, Chris and John were really nice and enthusiastic to help us lose weight and get fit. They asked us what our fitness goals were and we shared what we hoped to gain from the classes. In the 28 days, I went about 60% of the time. I wish they had a gym in North Seattle because the Queen Anne location is a bit of a drive for me, especially during high traffic time (6:15 p.m. class). There is plenty of parking at this facility. I really enjoyed the week day classes inside the gym. It doesn't get so crowded that you stand around. Both John and Chris were really great in helping us have the right posture while doing each work out routine so that we wouldn't insure ourselves. You end up doing a lot of squats and stomach exercises. During the first few classes, I was sore beyond belief. It really helped strengthen my muscles. On the weekends, you meet at a park in Queen Anne. While we worked out, we also played games. This was both entertaining and a great opportunity to become more in shape. The only minor critique I have is that their pricing structure is a bit steep. For those who don't have a great amount of disposable income, $100+ per month (can't remember the exact amount) is really expensive. I understand that gym memberships are expensive but this is on the pricier side. If you do the math, it is more than $1,000 a year for exercise classes. There is class pass offered in the Seattle area for $79, which gives you access to many different gyms around the city. I am aware that they have promotions but it only lasts for a limited amount of time. Aside from their pricing, I'd say that their instructors and facilities are top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed taking work out classes here. Oh yah, I forgot to mention that the recipes that the gym sends out are great. They email healthy recipes to those on their email chain. My friend who attends Ian, tried out a couple of dishes and really liked it.

What it has is a picture of Ian when he was 10. Why would anyone not looking for a middle school yearbook give a $*it about that? You'll have to ask him. It also has a bunch of before-after pictures of people who supposedly got results. Speaking of which... I called 3 times in the past week and each time got a voicemail that tried too hard to appear jovial. No one returned my calls. I don't know whether the people that train there are telepaths, or they actually stopped by in person just to get a brochure, but the cheesy website, fake voicemail greeting and non-existing customer service killed it for me.

I love the team model they use, and really feel supported in getting the most effective treatment because of it. In this sequence, I've only worked with Gabby so far. There are no guarantees in healthcare and I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I've been dealing with chronic pain for a few years and had kind of given up. At least that's what my time there has been like, and I've met many others through the years who share the same sentiment. I've been taking classes for 5 years here. The reason that I come back every day isn't just for the workout, but for the community that they've built. Nothing is better than lifelong friendships that were forged in the iron paradise while squat cleaning. Anthony and Pat are not only some of the most knowledgeable coaches that I've ever had, but they make every class fun and approachable.
