Ultimate Dynamics was a needle in a haystack to me. As a trichotillomania patient, it is nearly impossible to find a hair loss salon that has the experience and knowledge to provide the perfect attachment methods. Ultimate Dynamics was the result of months of dealing with salons that feigned understanding for my situation or had no idea on how to help me but wanted my money non-the-less. I started off my venture in hair pieces by purchasing a cheap full wig online that I paid a ridiculous amount to make work until I came to Randy and ordered a custom piece. I was able to get a piece molded to my head, a base created to my person attachment likings, and hair that matched my own in color and texture. One issue I fought with as a student, was salons trying to get me to sell my soul for hair. Randy educated me and found a more reasonable solution to keep the price down and the quality high. The biggest issue I face is that I live hours from San Diego. So of his own free time, Randy has been reaching out to salons across California to find someone with experience. It says a lot about a salon that is willing to refer you out. I am very lucky to have found Ultimate hair Dynamics. When my health insurance and resolve were failing me they were there to help. I feel completely educated now in the methods of attachment, levels of hair quality, base materials and sizes, and hair-care. I can't say enough about the kindness and professionalism at Ultimate Hair Dynamics. My wife is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and they went above and beyond to help her feel confident again. We came in last-minute needing a wig styled for a wedding, and not only did they make time for us on the spot, but they also only charged us $50 for the cut-in--far below their normal rate. I honestly don't know what happened to this company or the owner Randy. I have been going to Ultimate Hair for years. In the last year, something has really changed. I am still owed a system (that I have to assume I will never get). The hair quality is so bad. I could not get the frizz to lay down (so embarrassing: see picture below). They kept telling me they ordered another system for months and months only for me to find out that they never ordered it. We went through this several times. It's been well over a year and they won't even pick up the phone now. I don't even know it they are still in business. But, just in case, I hope this helps someone else! read more

I have trich and was purchasing toppers online. About 2 years ago, I decided to go to UHD after reviewing Yelp feedback. I cannot say enough great things about this company. I was extremely nervous about letting anyone see me without my topper, and was concerned about how I would be perceived due to my trich. However, from the beginning of the experience to the end, Randy and his team were gracious and kind. Randy was helpful in explaining the process to me, and looked at my current topper to explain how his products differed but in a much better way. I received the topper about 3 mos later, and was so happy about how it turned out. The care and service that they provide is top notch! Top quality hair!! Even if you are satisfied but they don't think it's the best they can do, they will fix it, replace it, or do whatever they have to do to make sure its perfect. Their customer service is top notch! Everyone is very welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable. All clients have a private room with cable TV to watch while they get their hair done, and the rooms provide total privacy. They really put forth their very best month after month for a long time. M, V and now A have taken care of me for a long time and I find them remarkably talented and they care. I have a deep sense of gratitude toward every one of them, because at one time or another everyone has taken care of me, and that's when I noticed the remarkably great training they all receive. My story is this, I always had an awesome head of hair until I was around 19, then things changed. I was really self conscious and people who knew me started to notice too.so the very first TV add came on late one night way back and without saying any names the host wasn't just a host he was a client!! That should say enough! I made the appointment and I pulled the trigger. Very scary I must add but it was done. The first couple years were good and I must say my stylist made it a great experience every visit, but then things changed and my stylist had to leave and new ownership took over, I was miserable, my appointments were not honored, my bank account was double debited for my monthly service fees, so I had enough after my service one morning nearly in tears of frustration my hair was horrible among many other bad experiences I had. Ultimate Hair Dynamics... By far the worse company I've come across! Prices are sky high. And come to find out they quadruple their prices. I ordered a hair piece or system as they like to call it, it was suppose to be 100% human hair as I paid for that well I got 50% human 50% synthetic. Not to mention I was suppose to get it in 8 weeks and got it 6 weeks late. The hair slowly fell out throughout the first month and I was no longer able to wear it. I asked for a refund as I deserved my $1,800 back but never got it. They make you feel like a queen until they get your money, from there it's all downhill. The owner / consultant Randy will sell you a dream but don't believe him, he likes to talk down on other companies but that's only to make himself look better (which does the opposite) I'm much happier now that I switched to another company as I won't mention the name because I'm not here promoting that company. I've been going to UHD for about 2 years now. My hair loss journey started a little over 4 years. It started out with loss of eye brows and eye lashes then continued to my head. Found out that I had Alopecia that turned into Alopecia universalis (loss of all body hair). Tried several medications with the dermatologist and nothing worked. I had first gone to a local wig shop where a very sweet lady helped me out. The wigs were a one size fits all and very itchy for me. After a few months I realized that this wasn't the way for me but didn't know that there was a better solution. After talking to a few people about my condition I found out there were wigs out there that can be fitted to your head and made from real hair that you can style yourself and wear 24 hours a day. I was so excited! I found a place that I went to about a year it was better but still wasn't fully satisfied especially with their customer service. I was paying a lot of money to them and I found that they didn't treat me very well and at times made me feel stupid when I would go to them with a complaint. I then found out about UHD from a man that has been going to them for over 20 years. Since day 1 of going to UHD I have been treated so well. My system fits me so good. Rosa does such a great job cleaning and styling it. And if by some chance I can't get an appointment with Rosa there are others in the office that do just as good of a job.
