Alright so, owner contacted us and apologized for the behavior of the previous experience. I highly respect that, owning it and trying to make it right. 10/10. We went back, figured try again. Everything was honestly much cleaner this time. The tables weren't gross. The guy who was taking our order was very nice, gave generous portions of everything, wasn't a skimp on anything. Everything tasted fresh. I'd say only negative is every Just Poke we've been to prior, we get two scoops of spicy crab rather than one spicy and one regular, and no one has had an issue with this. Never been charged extra. But this location does charge extra. It'll just be something we keep in mind for this specific location I guess but all in all I'm happy and appreciative of how it was all handled. read more

Just Poke is one of my top 5 places to grab lunch in Snohomish -- I absolutely love it! I came here during the week, just after normal lunch-rush time (maybe 1 or 1:30. Parking is street parking - there is a lot of it, but the parking right in front is kind-of limited (maybe 10 spots for 5-6 businesses right there). In any case, I got lucky and scored a spot right in front. I walked in and was the only person there. The person working greeted me in a friendly way and let me know they'd help me when I was ready. They serve poke bowls (poke being... raw fish marinated in soy sauce and other flavors... bowl being... that it's served in a bowl on top of rice and other accoutrements). I scoped out the menu and just went with one of the pre-made bowls -- "Heat Wave" - which is spicy (raw) ahi tuna, spicy aioli, pickled fresno peppers, jalapeno crunchies, spicy crab salad and some veg (scallion, corn, edamame). Lots of spicy stuff - super fun. This is served on your choice of rice (brown, sushi). I didn't have any changes, just took it as it is, and I was not disappointed! The combo worked super well, it was spicy. I was super happy and full -- all the ingredients seemed good quality, fresh, and bright. One thing I want to go back and get next time is the spam musubi (fried/marinated spam, wrapped like sushi with rice). I think getting that in addition to a bowl would be a bit much, but maybe I'll get it as a snack for later. Overall, this is a great, kind-of healthy lunch option in the area and I'm super stoked that it exists. They have a ton of pre-made bowls that make it easy to order, and if you're picky or adventurous, they also have plenty of ingredients to meet just about anyone's needs. !! read more

Wanna start with a note: I love to eat poke and have tried almost every location in the Seattle area and love their reusable container. And this location , unfortunately, was a bad experience. The staff was friendly, but the food... the white rice was overcooked- it was porridge, not rice anymore. The shrimp didn't taste fresh. And oh boy, I'm not sure why, but the sweet onion was cut into pieces the size of french fries. I honestly haven't seen it cut like that since my childhood, when I tried to make a salad myself lol I was hungry, so I ate it, but I didn't enjoy it the way I usually do with poke. read more

While at this new location for a Yelp experience, I brought my son along and we bought a Make Your Own bowl for him and we shared a Spam Musubi. I've been to Just Poke at their Kirkland & Mill Creek locations so I knew what to expect. This awesome poke place in scenic historic downtown Snohomish is in a great location and a wonderful compliment to Just Poke's ever-growing stores. We each loved our food as it was prepared fresh and you can see all the ingredients behind the glass. I was also provided an extra side of the spicy aloil for my bowl and it made it just right on the sauciness. Overall, this place is very new and clean and has super high ceilings and long sunny windows. This makes this location very inviting. Lots of street parking around. The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I went by around 11 AM but the poke bowl was for dinner. I asked separate bowls of rice and the poke so the rice won't be soggy. This is highly recommended as you can refrigerate the poke but not rice. When you refrigerate rice, they will be harden and unpleasant to have. The signature poke I had was all kinds of textures, crunchy masago, smooth avocado. Soft ahi and salmon, chewy seaweed salad, etc.. together with rice, so good! Good portion I couldn't finish. Just poke offers wide variety of fish, sauce and toppings. I personally like the original sauce. Combo of tuna/salmon, crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame and cucs. Will definitely come back. less than $20 for delicious lunch nowadays can't go wrong. read more

Did an online order for just one poke bowl. Came in to pick up 20 min later and it still wasn't ready. Totally understand, but what I don't understand is why only one person was working during lunch hour? (11:45) It looked like she was maybe training someone who was just standing next to her. The big thing for me, was I didn't get acknowledged at all for what I was there, for a good 5+ min, even though they were helping just one person. Definitely could work on their customer service. A "hi, we will be right with you" would go a long way. They acted confused why I was standing at the cash register to ask about my pick up order. After this odd experience, I will re-think my takeout orders from here. read more

Service is fast. I was the only one. Food options are good. I got the poke bowl and the spam Musubi. The dressing and chilli threads are Yumm!! I got the surf & surf! Seared Ahi, Shrimp Tempura, Scallion, Togarashi, Masago, Yuzu Kosho, Crab Salad Scallion , Pickled Ginger and Chili Threads. Shrimp tempura took about 4 plus minutes. It was a ok. But I liked the rest. It was delicious. Added some tofu. Chilli threads are my favorite plus the yuzu kosho. I'll come back when I'm In the area next. The regular build your own was MUCH smaller than the large- I was told once that they're the same- "the only difference is that the regular only has 2 proteins instead of 3" but the amount of rice in the regular was very minimal as well.... I went into this place and it was really good. The problem that I had with it is the restaurant smelled a little and the employees were not that friendly but the food was great. That's my dilemma. Listen the food out at all. You can put up with a little smell when you're having great food right they have great parking. Their prices are good. I wish this one was as good as the one in Mill Creek (or Kirkland) but they're just not same. It's a pretty noticeable difference the way they prepare their food. Especially the spam musubi! We've been to this location 3 times now and it just doesn't have consistency you'd hope for from a Just Poke, like the others have. Just Poke is a yummy, new spot that opened up about 6 months ago between 1st and 2nd Ave in the heart of downtown Snohomish. The staff working there was very friendly and made helpful recommendations for lunch based on my preferences. They have a menu with raw items and cooked items. I ordered the Spicy Ahi Tuna signature bowl, also known as the Heat Bowl. It was delicious and definitely lived up to its name in the spice department. There were four options for the base (including organic greens - yay!), lots of options proteins including raw and cooked seafood, meat, and tofu, and they offered tons of toppings and sauces. Everything tasted very fresh. I will be back again to try a "build your own bowl", as recommended to me. As is the case throughout Snohomish, street parking is limited, but I had luck finding a spot on 2nd Ave. This is a great spot for a quick, fresh meal.
