Nothing broken, damaged or missing. All aspects of their work was top notch and made what can be a stressful event into just another couple of busy days for us. All member of the move day teams were respectful and detail oriented in their work. all items that were taken apart for the move-out were properly reassembled at the move-in location. Large items were properly and securely protected and wrapped for the move. The team did not damage walls, floors or any other part of the move-out or move-in homes. Walk throughs were performed on both ends of the move before and after the loading/unloading. The teams were on time on both ends of the move and super accommodating for any questions or request we had. Initial estimate walk through was thorough, and pricing quote was honest and fair. Signed contract pricing was honored and no surprise gottchas at the end of the move. The company is fully licensed and insured for the work they contract to perform, and they complete that work without any drama or surprises in a professional manner. From the office employees to the onsite movers, this company and its team are excellent at what they do. Shout out to Corey, Emmet and Nick for your hard work and support on our move. I highly recommend Positive Moves without hesitation if you are in need of services they provide.

My elderly mom lives in coastal SC, and when my husband and I needed to move her to a smaller home,…read morewe utilized Two Men and a Truck. We are all too old for a "pizza and beer" style move. Troy, the representative who helped me through the pre-move estimate and paperwork, was wonderful to work with. We weren't 100% sure on the date of our move at first, and they were willing to wait and work with us to make sure we got the earliest date possible but best date for us. Troy's estimate also recommended three men, which we were fine with and booked. We received a call about 30 minutes before they arrived, and once they arrived, they got to work. When you book Two Men and a Truck, you're charged a travel fee and an hourly rate. I was worried that in a rural area, we would be charged a higher travel fee, but we were not. The company has a large service area. The three gentlemen who moved my mom's two-story home to the smaller one-story ranch did an excellent job. The price was incredibly fair for the service and professionalism we received. Nothing was broken, and the crew took good care of my mom's belongings as if it were their family member's move. they provided recommendations on where to place furniture in my mom's new-to-her home. Everyone was super professional and worked FAST. In fact, they finished the move a bit earlier than we expected. Paying with credit card or cash after our service was very easy, and we gave a well-earned cash tip. I recommend Two Men and a Truck for anyone in the Grand Strand for a move. I'm sure my mom will be recommending them as well by word of mouth Yelping.

I was at the nail salon with both of our usual technicians and my husband next to me. He was Yes, and yes, they can help us do anything. They all heard this. The next morning, he was an entirely different person. He was aggressive over the phone when he called to say he was on his way, and said he never agreed to bring a flatbed trailer. He showed up in a TAHOE to move an entire household. I found him on Thumbtack and thought he had been screened. He was arrogant and rude, and made entirely incorrect statements. We rented a truck and an ENCLOSED U-Haul that we specifically stated would be used for OUR things that we would be taking back to Ohio, NOT for his use. One would think a mover has more than just one truck. We confirmed that it would be much easier to load our things we were taking in the covered trailer, to load the things from one storage to another on his flatbed. First, he claimed they don't use flatbed trailers, then he said they don't have one. He argued with me when I reminded him that part of the quote that was on Thumbtack was moving one household, then moving a small storage into a large storage, we rented to put everything in one place. He said, "I don't haul junk". Someone gave him access to the guest room floors, and he knocked on our door. Not knowing who he was, and him wearing baggy shorts, gold chains halfway down his chest, ballcap and sunglasses, accompanied by an extremely thin man who looked like he could not lift anything. He looked like he was about to fall asleep standing up. I asked my husband to come to the door since the two men at my door did not make me feel safe. He came and we opened the door, and they were pushing to load OUR trailer. Anthony was furious when my husband, not wanting to leave me alone - wise choice - with 2 men before he at least met them

I was quoted $350 to $400 for the job…read more The price was padded by adding "Two hour labor charge" for them having used their truck[?!], dragging out the packing.. 7 hours to pack up a one bedroom condo, I don't know what else they padded onto the price. Point is, I ended up paying.... $1,100. Not everything was moved. It took us a couple hours to finish packing - that is adding insult to injury. If you are genuinely looking for ways for them to improve, fire them and hire a whole new crew [at least the lead guy]. You can't correct people who don't care and have a poor work ethic. He came in and told me I should have pre-packed bedding ... how was I supposed to know that? I had the feeling that all communication was for their attempt to justify bad service and overcharging. I asked them for $700 yesterday - the different between the estimate and what they charged. Why did I initially pay? Good question. Could be that at the end of that long day, I am elderly, disabled and had been quite sick. I was not thinking clearly.

The trip to the new house took forever because they took 45 minutes to eat but never the less they were finished by 3:30.. Matt did not want this 18 wheeler loaded in one day that clearly would have completed the job! Now I have to hire a second mover to finish the job..
