I came here for my vaccine and, if I could separate out the pharmacy alone, I'd give them 5 stars…read more They were super kind when checking in, the pharmacists giving the shots were gentle and efficient, and everything was clean and I felt 100% safe. As for the store itself? It's a nice facility, to be sure. It's huge, great selection, etc. Seems newer in general, which is nice. After my first shot I took a few moments to pick up a few grocery items and I found everything with ease. The part where they lose the stars is that outside of the pharmacy area I felt pretty unsafe. I saw guests shopping without masks, groups of shoppers standing around talking with each other with their masks on their chins (taking your mask off to talk to someone defeats the purpose, FYI). I know it's hard for employees to enforce this, so I wouldn't hold it against them if it weren't for the fact that I saw a few employees doing the same thing. Masks under their noses, poorly fitting, etc. I was so turned off by the experience that when I went in for my second shot I left immediately and did my 15 minute wait in my car. It's a shame a few folks spoiled my experience because for the most part people were complying, but with cases spiking in MI and me being high risk, I just didn't feel comfortable. All it takes is one slip and I wasn't willing to risk it. Post-pandemic, I'd definitely consider shopping there again. But for now, I'm grateful for my vaccines and that's as far as I'll go.

It feels like you're going to an old family reunion where everybody knows you and kindness is normal. The store has an excellent selection of items. At first, when I worked in, I was feeling a little overwhelmed because it felt cluttered, but there's honestly just a really good selection. I'm not able to eat their donuts anymore due to allergies, but when I was, they freshly fry their donuts and they were excellent! Not many places do this anymore. This feels like a blast from the past from your 1990s grocer , but in all the good ways and none of the bad. Thank you, Pollys for being such a reasonable family grocery store in the area .

I like the Kowalski and Dearborn products. I am glad they have a fair amount of gluten-free products. I dont care for the way they have let Aunt Millies bread dominate the shelves. I miss the Olive bar. I like the way they will order items in for you. Beats those Chinese Dollar Stores. If they clean and paint the ceiling I will give em 5 stars.

After reading the recent reviews of this store, I came with apprehension. Fortunately, I had an OK…read moreexperience here. The store has a visually-attractive layout and is clean and well-organized. There are ample islands of produce, a large deli counter with lots of salad choices (including Middle Eastern items such as mjadra from Beirut Bakery), and appealing interior aisle displays. The store temperature is suitably cold to preserve your refrigerated and frozen foods as you wander. Why three stars? Prices are higher and selection less than at Kroger or Meijer. Still, it's a fine choice in the area.

Usually I like this place, so three stars remain, but full-disclosure, my experience this evening…read morewas zero stars. I had a two minute shopping trip, in-and-out. I get to the register and I'm attempting to buy a white claw... The woman sees me, sees I need help and walks away to help someone else at customer service, which would be fine, BUT, she volunteers to grab a woman a cart... VOLUNTEERS. Great customer service for THAT person, but wildly bad service for anyone waiting at you scan. She saw me, and like four minutes into me waiting, she makes eye contact and mouths something to the effect of "just another minute" It took like four minutes to acknowledge I existed, but she clearly knew I'd been waiting a while.... MANY other employees walked by.... at least three, but apparently none were available or trained to jump in. She FINALLY came over.... A woman with salt-and-pepper curly hair. apparently I brought an expired license.... I'm past the age where you legally need to check. I'm in my mid-forties and look like I'm in my late forties. I rarely get carded, and this woman wouldn't sell me white claw. I will go back, but at whatever phase of my shopping I'm in, if I see this woman again, I will leave put perishables back and leave the remainder my cart or basket where it lies. The price point at Busch's is not cheap, but customer service can make it worth while. Without that customer service, there is no reason whatsoever to be there.

I like the sign that indicates the carts have been sanitized. I especially liked the aisle guides chart on the actual carts. It showed where most of the items you might be looking for would be located in the store, that's a great idea, all stores should have such a guide on the cart to minimize down time wasted trying to figure out what aisle to find what you want, only to find after reading the generic genre of food items on the aisle signs in the hopes your item is down that chosen aisle. It rarely ever is down the aisle I hope or think it ought to be. It was nice and quiet, it's after 9 PM on a week day. I should try to make it a point to always shop at night, all of the time like tonight, it's so quiet, peaceful and almost tranquil. I was able to find all of the produce and non-perishable items too. There were 3 self-checkout registers and one manned register open. Went to the manned register. David greeted me warmly, asked how my weekend was, I replied over. He said he worked the weekend and has a few days off during the week. He wished me a good week and I wished him a good weekday weekend. It was a quick in and out trip in less than 15, not bad.
