I feel she was able to grasp my complex issues fairly quickly- she followed up With labs drawn after the first visit with the results and her recommendations even though they are visible in the Duke my chart- this was my 4th visit to this location- years ago my family gifted a visit when there was a bookstore - lunch and other amenities- even though some of the amenities have changed I feel this practice is well worth the investment- options for a la cart services like yoga & other a la cart amenities available. This location is situated off I 85 & other major routes- near the corner of Moreene & Erwin road a mile or so from the main Duke North Hospital Systems on Erwin Road & nearby Medicine Circle. It's now obscured from a lot of greenery and shrubbery but once you turn into the winding paved path way - the location is a beautifully crafted building remindful of the older Duke bricks and newer bricks building.Uniquely designed - there is a drop off entrance for accessibility with automatic door openers. The reception team members & Nurse equally friendly and knowledgeable. Nice comfortable seating available. In house lab. I shall look forward to utilizing more of these facilities in the near future

In the past, I've…read morehad some good, and I've had some absolutely awful doctors, but Dr. Caulfield and the staff at Carrboro Peds and Internal Med actually made me happy to be there. The front office staff was very sweet and helpful. I only waited maybe 10 minutes to be taken in the back by a very kind nurse. And, only waited about another 5-10 minutes before Dr. Caulfield actually came into examine me. She was very thorough, asked lots of questions, talked about my options, and explained why she was choosing to take a certain course of action. She has a very friendly personality and is extremely knowledgeable. I felt like I was in great hands and really couldn't have been more pleased with a doctor's visit. I don't have any kids, but if I did, I would absolutely be taking them to Dr. Caulfield and staff. They are a great practice and I am grateful to have found them!

I left because of the rudeness and lack of consideration after one particular day when I had a bad respiratory infection. My doctor's office was right across from the exam room, tight quarters, only a few feet across the hall. An intern came with him when he saw me. After my exam he went right across the hall with them and I heard him ridiculing me. When I left, the nurses at the nurses station all turned, looked at me and laughed. I did not choose him. My own, wonderful doctor, left Duke and there were few available at the time. I made sure I made my own choice, not a default, after that.

With me, he's always been very frank and straightforward, which suits me well. The nurses have been impressive, too, for the most part. The lab works well, and the phlebotomists do a great job. I have also been referred by this physician to the Radiology Department when needed. The X-Ray Technicians have always been great as well. The office administration has always been top-notch. The entire facility has worked very efficiently for and with me over the years. I can recommend this facility and all the individuals who have contributed to my health now for many years. This location has a lot of additional clinics/offices with different specializations as well. I'm pretty sure they have Pedriatics and an Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic as well as others. I can't address their quality or efficiency. I would be surprised if it were vastly different, but I have no experience with them. You might want to look for other reviews regarding them. As a final note, it's always been very helpful to me to coordinate all my healthcare through various doctors and providers under the vast Duke umbrella. All results of tests, X-Rays themselves, and doctor's comments are always quickly added to the My Duke Health app witch is available on Android phones, I don't know about Apple devices as I've never had reason to look, and Windows based PCs. I have no idea about Linux. However, it's internet browser based, and I think it should work fine on computers using common browser interfaces. However, I've never tested it.
