These guys are based out of India and I know it was them because they are the only ones I gave my CC details to and I don't save CC info on my phone. They send a link to prepay for the tow, but the link was not letting me process my payment after multiple attempts. She kept pushing to just give her the CC details, so I reluctantly gave her that info and it goes through first try without an issue. Two days later and all these charges are racking up on my CC. Fishy. Be careful. Edit: It's been 3 days since writing this review and they are now spam calling/texting my phone from different numbers and no caller ID's. I know this because they left voicemails/texts saying it's High Noon Hauling. They've used 5 different numbers now. Very unprofessional.

I followed up directly with the tech, and he confirmed the same ETA. Based on that timeframe, we agreed to move forward and paid the $145 service fee upfront. After waiting over 2 hours, we checked in again and were told the technician was still another hour away. At that point, it was clear the original ETA was nowhere close to accurate. Had we known it would take more than 3 hours for a simple roadside tire change, we would have called another service provider. What makes this even more frustrating is that Hawkeye Diesel had already collected payment before providing any service. When I called to cancel and move on, I was told the fee was non-refundable despite no work being performed. Meanwhile, the technician was still claiming to be an hour away. This isn't really about the $145--it's about honesty and professionalism. Hardworking truck drivers depend on accurate information when they're stranded on the side of the road. If the ETA had been communicated honestly from the beginning, we could have made an informed decision. Instead, it felt like they said whatever was necessary to secure payment upfront. Taking someone's money, failing to meet the promised timeline, and refusing a refund when no service has been rendered is not good business. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for roadside assistance.

They didn't explain that was $149 for ever hour it took them to get there (15 minutes away). Finally they show up at 7:40 pm. Found the issue, but couldn't fix it. Charged me another $550 for something they couldn't fix. Gave the a $100 in cash and they charged my card $103 for no repairs, just driving time. Beware of them they charge by the hour even if you are only 15 minutes away from their shop.
