On the weekends, once the sun goes down, it gets PACKED and the crowd is a mix of all ages and backgrounds. Super cool that people in different stages of life are enjoying the same place, but it's sort of chaotic, crowded and not very relaxing on a Friday and Saturday evening. Sometimes it is really good other times not so. One of the things is portion control. A few weeks ago, we ordered shrimp platters. There were 8 pieces of shrimp. Past orders there were 12 pieces. When asked we were told the portion is 8. week, my husband ordered the shrimp and got 12 pieces. They tout their fresh cut fries. Sometimes they are fantastic. Other times they are a soggy greasy mess. Prices have gone through the roof for most restaurants. I understand that. What were used to get for under $25 in now closer to $35. The Cab used to be a more reasonable option when going out to eat. There are times when a nearby chain is cheaper. I am sad to say we may still go to The Cab on occasion, we will no longer be "regulars".

Inside it's a nicely done up dive kind of bar. It has a mixed crowd and everyone knew everyone. I think I got hugged by half the crowd (which isn't out of my norm..) and most of them I just met! Friday night is karaoke and everyone singing was petty damn good! One girl had her MJ song and dance down to a T. She had the hat and "the glitter glove" for props! People were loving it!
