I do not often go the BBQ places out in town because most the time it's not real BBQ. This place thou...ridiculous!!! Smoke chicken to die for! Ribs that make you wanna slap somebody. Huge sides! Customer service was on point and was proud to support this minority and veteran owned business. Whenever I'm in town I will always stop back here! Gotta end this review and take a nap!

Fish Dinner

Fish Dinner Not a fan, not close. The fish is dry and overcooked. Tastes like it was cooked in old grease. I tried to make it palatable by adding hot sauce. I guess it's my fault for going to a BBQ place and ordering fish. Lesson learned.

Here's a great find of you are the kind of foodie who is on the lookout for your local diners and dives that know their niche and do their food type well. Uncle D's is a true southern style BBQ with tender juicy bbq seasoned with perfect spice and crusted with the perfect crisp. Homemade bbq sauces -- the smoky one is my favorite -- and the classic southern coleslaw. Perfectly cooked fries to top it off. Nice proprietor in this truly small guy operation. Dine in is a bit of dive... but not dirty or uncomfortable. I hung out for an hour enjoying the food, the AC, and the rhythm and blues music.

Found this place through Facebook! Everything we had was excellent!!! The ribs were my favorite, just how I like them! Tender and flavorful but not falling off the bone. The rub was great and I love that the sauce is served on the side. I'm a dry rib fan but do like a bit of sauce here and there. Almost every menu item comes with two sides. We tried them all! Coleslaw was good not to sweet and just the right texture. Potato salad was sweet but had a vinegar zip. Baked beans were good, but man those fries omg! Loved that they topped them with the ribs or rib tips. The flavor just seeped into the fries, they were super good! Will definitely be back!

Got the 301 combo with 3 bones, 2 wings, and 2 sausage link and a Diet Coke. Comes with fries, cole slaw, and a l poop on my couple slices of bread. Enjoy!

Very helpful staff and good food. Hot link was juicy, wings were good (cooked twice, smoked first then fried), and ribs have a good rib. Aunt Rose bbq sauce had a great flavor. All meals come with two sides. Beans were decent, cole slaw needs a little seasoning. Would go back for more wings and to try the pulled pork sandwich.

Stopped in on a Tuesday night; it's our first visit. The place was relatively quiet and there were…read morenot many visitors. It's a very clean establishment and the staff that greeted us were professional and very friendly. We perused the menu and decided on Thai chili mussels and cheesesteak egg rolls for apps, water and a fig martini for our drinks. The egg rolls came with marinara dipping sauce which was different. Both appetizers were good but lacked in flavor. They were both missing an umami flavor that would have elevated them. The eggs rolls specifically could have benefited from more cheese, a better quality of steak (the menu described it as having rib eye but it was very chewy..I know good ribeye has a nice fat cap but this wasn't that), and salt. The mussels had the spice from the red curry paste but again was missing salt. Sea salt or even soy sauce being added would have elevated that dish. It could have also benefited from some fresh garlic and a fresh herb like Thai basil. To note my martini was very sweet. It was comprised of fig vodka which intrigued me but it just wasn't for me. Our mains were the double crab cake dinner and I ordered a Caesar salad with cajun salmon. My salad was executed okay but with one exception: the dressing. I don't know what it was but it was definitely not a classic Caesar dressing. If you love a good Caesar salad you know the dressing is a crucial element to that salad and as much as I was looking forward to this dish, it failed. The salmon was cooked perfectly, there were shards of parm and not shreds which was a welcome addition and the romaine lettuce fell a bit short as well as it wasn't crisp. Overall I finished the salmon but not all of the remainder of the salad. It was just ok but the salmon definitely saved it. My husband had the crab cake dinner and he enjoyed it very much. There was not much filler in them and they were made with lump crab meat..I venture to say maybe even jumbo lump. I tasted them; they were seasoned very well. The dinner came with fingerling potatoes and coleslaw. I didn't get to taste the potatoes because my husband devoured those..so I guess they were good. I had a bit of the coleslaw and it was dressed well and flavorful; the celery seed in it was pronounced and it wasn't overly dressed in sauce which was good; the cabbage and other vegetables were able to retain a nice crunch. All in all we agreed although some things about our meal could be improved, we would certainly come back. There was a nice vibe in there, that allowed for a great laid back early week date night.

Good food and service. Kind of spread out, but that's OK. If these guys were in a better location…read moreor had slightly better visibility, I feel like they'd be a lot busier. Chill vibe inside. Regardless, it's a solid place for a meal or to get friends from work together. Thumbs up!

This was my first time visiting Bubbles Bzzz, and honestly the experience left me really…read moredisappointed. I had never been there before and didn't know how ordering worked. The first employee I interacted with was an Asian/Pacific Islander girl who was nice and let me sample a few things, but she didn't really explain the ordering process or how the menu worked. The menu setup itself is confusing because there are multiple flavors listed on the same line next to one price. For example, it listed something like mango, apple kiwi, passion fruit all together, so naturally I thought that was the drink combination I was ordering. I even pointed directly at it while ordering. At no point did anyone explain that you could only choose two flavors. After waiting, another employee -- a light-skinned white American girl with black hair who was on the heavier side and spoke fully English -- called out an apple kiwi slushy multiple times. I didn't grab it because I thought it belonged to someone else since that wasn't what I believed I ordered. Eventually she looked at me and said it was mine. I explained nicely that I had ordered something different and pointed to the menu item I selected. That's when she told me they only allow two flavors. I said I understood, but that nobody had explained that to me. I politely asked if it could be remade with mango and passion fruit instead. You could immediately tell she was annoyed, even though the store was not busy at all. While remaking the drink, she loudly told the other employee, "I don't have the patience for this," loud enough for both me and my mom to clearly hear. That was honestly the part that upset me the most. I was being respectful the entire time, simply trying to understand the menu and correct an honest misunderstanding as a first-time customer. The remake took maybe 4 minutes, and instead of handling it professionally, I was made to feel like a burden. I still said thank you when she handed me the drink, even after the comment, because I wanted her to know I heard what she said. After leaving, I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one there and they didn't know when one would be in. I understand mistakes happen, especially with confusing menus, but customer service and professionalism matter. First-time customers should feel welcomed, not embarrassed for asking questions or misunderstanding an unclear menu.

Getting to the restaurant is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The place is pretty clean and there is lots of seating. The people are very nice and polite. They greet you as you enter and are very clear with how the menu works. And now for the food. Their dishes let you pick a protein with white or brown rice and 4 side dishes. The first time I went I had the beef bulgogi. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture but it was delicious. It was juicy and flavorful. The next time I went I ordered the spicy pork. I have a decent spice tolerance so I didn't find it too spicy. They were also incredibly nice and gave me the bottom of the batch that is drenched in sauce after I asked. It was incredibly tender and delicious. The best part is the meals are filling at a fair price. I'm glad I tried this recommendation and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

I appreciated that they had a small or large option as I wanted a light meal, and my tofu plus two sides was just about right. Options included watercress, a favorite and underused vegetable from my point of view. Their tofu was extremely crispy. I don't eat a ton of Korean because it tends not to be vegetarian-friendly, but this place, in a limited Southern Maryland food scene, delivered some distinctive and worthwhile flavors.
