Some they can do (and do much cheaper than other places) and some they can't. But they're always helpful and honest and kind. As a woman, I especially appreciate that they don't inflate thier prices (because so many places have and it's frustrating and expensive). I've gotten my oil changes there for over 10 years. I've had my back and front brakes done there for an extremely good price (thank you Charlie). It's a great place to go. They're trustworthy. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. They tell me what my car needs done, but never pressure me into doing it (cause for me money is sometimes an issue). I truly appreciate that.

Couldn't get it towed until Monday morning (had to buy triple A, and it cost me double to do it because apparently you have to wait a period of time between when you get and and use the towing). Also cost me 3x as much to tow because it was over 5 miles. Fun stuff. This place was recommended to me by someone who did $20,000 of business with them every month, at a dealership. This place said it was a 'hard fix' because my car is a 2011 fusion. So, there were just no parts available. Then suddenly 2 days later, I was told I could pick it up. Okay. Went there, got it, drove 3 whole miles and the exhaust system fell out again. When I called, they sent someone who said - they didn't attach this right. So, I waited again for over an hour for them to fix it. Again. The waiting room is really close to the mechanics ship. And I heard a lot of laughter when I was waiting. Also, the person at the desk told me - you won't have to pay for this, though you should have to, just because we're being nice. At the time I had a warranty in my car stating that if anything went wrong with the exhaust, it was covered for a year. It had been 20 minutes. I will Never go to midas (any midas) again. They also quoted me a price and it was several hundred dollars over that when I paid (before the exhaust they fixed fell out after I drove 3 miles). New owner, same workers. Go elsewhere.

Took a used vehicle I recently purchased from a big local dealer chain in for a simple exhaust downpipe repair. The employee who did the work did not properly ground the vehicle, so when he did the arc welding, which involves electricity, he fried my entire electric system. Tony, the owner or manager shown on the website, refused to accept any responsibility to me, my father, or my uncle who was a mechanic. Even better, they tried to bill me for the exhaust repair. They say they are an honest, trustworthy business but my experience says otherwise. I ended up taking them to court in Livonia and unfortunately had to speak first, which allowed Tony to hear my statement and then lie to the magistrate. After I explained what happened, Tony said that my car "sounded like crap" and that's why it wouldn't run now. I was not allowed to rebut with "it sounded bad because it needed a downpipe. It ran when I drove it to your shop and it does not run now. The electrical system worked fine but suddenly now is fried." I tried, but the magistrate shut me down and would not allow me to say another word for the remainder of the hearing. The magistrate either wasn't paying attention or was simply ignorant of basic auto repair and systems, because he agreed with Tony. The car I had just bought to replace one totaled by a drunk driver was ruined and he got to walk out without any consequence. The thousands I had to spend to get another car cost me the tuition I had saved to go back to grad school. His lies cost him nothing but messed me up big time. We walked out together and the entire time he stuck to his story and made me out to be a nuisance he was forced to deal with. Stay far away from these guys. Go somewhere else. When they screw up they won't take responsibility and you'll be out of luck.
