Ive eaten there before there pizza was ok dont get me wrong. I was recently there on friday 4-17-2015 for lunch me my girlfriend and her brother we ordered 5 slices of pizza a 6" sub and 8 hot wings and 2 drinks before i get to the staggering price for all this . first and foremost i know what pizza taste like fresh out the oven especially dinning in the pizza was not freshly made at all it looked like they heated up a pizza that did not make it out the door for delivery the cheese was hard like to be honest it tasted like day old pizza lets not forget were DININIG IN PEOPLE IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN WILL I SET FOOT IN THAT ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN ! since then ive told my friends and family to stay away from there at all costs oh and the price paid a whopping $33.98 and on top all that we got ROBBED. customer service god awful as well on a scale 1-10 a fat 0 read more

This place is BOMB the food is amazing the people working there are awsome and professional. They have TV'S to watch your games that are going on and will change the tv to what game you would like to watch you just gotta know what channel it's on which is easy just Google for example fox sports 1 channel for time warner. read more

Great family place. Pizza is very good and made when you order. Beer is cold, with a good selection. Always have lots of sports on. Feels like a small town place with all of the sports sponsors plaques. Service is always great. Only reason for the 4 Stars and not 5 was the fact some of the games were down for the kids and the prize selection was quite thin. But I will definitely be going back. I have been eating Uncle Howie's since I was born and will never stop. Hands down best pizza in town and the double dipped wings are a thing you must try. Staff is always helping customers with anything they need. Love this place and it is truly a landmark in the city of Redlands. read more

NEVER coming back. There was minimal seating as more than half the tables were dirty. We found one table that wasn't completely covered in trash. No one cleaned the tables while were there. We waited over 30 minutes for our pizza. When we finally asked about our food they said 10 more minutes. No apologies or explanations. I asked for a refund and was told to wait 5 minutes for the manager. A lady approached the register and did not even acknowledge us. She hands us back our money with no questions or apologies. I had to ask her name. Aida you are a HORRIBLE excuse for a manger. You should be ashamed. This used to be one of the best pizza places in town. It has seriously gone downhill. We wasted over 45 minutes at your pathetic establishment, just to have to go somewhere else to eat. With all of the choices in Redlands, you need to step up your game. 1 star is too much. Your reputation and food won't keep you a float, when you have absolutely NO customer service. I'm sad to say I won't be back, because this used to be my favorite pizza place. read more

Poor quality food. We ordered a medium pizza, wings and fried zucchini . Nothing was fresh, seemed to all be frozen. Don't think they use real cheese, wings were overly greasy , zucchini over breaded, no signs of vegetable . Service wasn't great either, not worth the money, won't be back. read more

I have always been pleased with the service & quality of pizza at uncle Howies. Although, this past month, they have lost our business. My husband ordered a pizza, wings and salad on a Thursday night... They told him that delivery would take anywhere from 45-60 min before it arrived- on a Thursday? Ok fine. After an hour and 10 min, I called to see what the status of our order was (since it was already pushing 9:15 pm) The girl who answered the phone was helpful and explained to me that they were backed up and that the pizza was leaving the shop right then and there- before I even mentioned getting reimbursed or anything- she tells me that our account will be credited for the amount of our order (about $35) for our next purchase. I was pleased that they had went above and beyond to try and fix the problem and make sure we were happy. Now here's the real problem- I called this last Friday night to put in an order. I explain to the girl that our account should have a credit to cover the amount of our order, and she tells me "oh ya, I remember talking to you! But I don't see anything noted so I need to talk to me manager to get it approved". Well she gets back on the line and says that he manager will not approve the credit. Really?? Don't promise a customer something, with no intentions of following through! I told her that she needed to figure this out because we were told that we would be credited for the order. She explains to me that she would need to call the owner to get an approval. She calls me back about 10 minutes later and tells me she spoke to the owner and all they will do is give us ONE large pizza. How is this fair? I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and follow through of the management of this restaurant. We order from here, no less than 3 times a month & I feel that we deserved better service than this! I refuse to give them anymore of our business or money & will order from jerseys now- where we have never had an issue! read more

Update. So in that 1st review I was specifically replying to someone (which I figured out how to directly comment on their review) so anyways back to Howie's. Pizza is pretty good. Cheese is the best part. It's really good quality cheese and melts really nice. They put a good amount of it on the pizza too! They put a good amount of toppings on their pizza. It's good quality pizza and very tasty overall but not worth the price. Waaayyy to pricy in my opinion. Place is neat and clean. They support a lot of local sports teams which I know a lot of people like. There's a small game room to the right when you walk in. There's 10 games and sometimes they don't work properly but they're not always broken like I've seen people comment on here before. There's also like 2 or 3 TV's in the back which people always go there to watch sporting events. They serve beer on tap. As for other food: they're sub sandwiches are awesome and super yummy! The wings are fantastic and I've heard people rave about them. The chicken strips are meh and I've had better. The salad is nothing to right home about just your average garden salad. The fries are really good! Spaghetti is really good. Garlic bread and garlic cheese bread are to die for!!!! That's all I've tried on their menu so far. I would recommend this place for sports team parties and birthday parties. read more

Hey people give me a break. This is a Pizza Place. Not the Ritz. the food is great. I hear a bunch of winning hear like Mr. G from Highland who goes a little further (1/2) mile for Gourmet. Well there two differ-ant worlds. If you want traditional pizza you go to Uncle Howie's, If you want a bunch of stuff (that I'm not sure belongs on a pizza you go to the other place. As for greasy, it's suppose to be Greasy, it's a pizza, that's the oil form the cheese. This is the oldest pizza place in Redlands and owned by the same owner, need I say anything else? read more

We've been going to Uncle Howie's Pizza for years. Really good food, pizza is always made to order and fresh tasting. Salads and subs also good. Prices are a bit on the higher side which goes along with the food quality. Love to meet friends here for a beer and a pizza. The interior could use an update and the games are dated, but over all a really good family place. read more

Pizza was absolutely awful; worst ever. There was no flavor, dough was stale, toppings, including cheese, used sparingly. It was my granddaughter's birthday on December 4th and I ordered 3 large pizzas: veggie, meat lovers, and cheese. The cost for all 3 was $61. I picked the pizzas up at about 5pm. The dough was stale and there was no sauce on the pizza. Although there were 5 adults and 4 children, more than an entire pizza was left over and despite my best efforts, no one wanted to take the extra home; it was that bad. I'm sorry, but I must give this pizza parlor a bad review. I was told by a friend who swore by this place that is was great, but I disagree. First reason is the pizza. I was appalled at the prices. I mean, $20 for a 16 inch pizza?? I could understand if the pizza was good quality, but the pizza that I was given tasted like cardboard with plastic on top. Second reason is the atmosphere. When I eat pizza somewhere, I don't like seeing cigarette butts on the floor. And the second time I went in, I saw "Uncle Howie" smoking behind the counter of the game room. I like. We get it at Market Night, and they're pretty good slices. Recently we started using them for delivery-so much better than Papa Johns and other chains, and the people are SO nice-for me that's the deal breaker. Pizza has good crust (a little thick for my taste,) and the sauce is good. I really like their marinara as well-their lasagne is quite good. read more
