Here are the problematic issues, service staff is friendly but unreliable. Had pizzas just go missing after ordering them before. Drinks not show up for 15 min. My wife and I tried to bring a friend of ours in to try the pizza last night. We arrived before 9:30 and sat at the bar. The bartender who served us was busy but when they go to us it was maybe 9:34pm, not a long wait. They then told us that because it was after 9:30 we could only order pizza by the slice which was disappointing because we really wanted to show our friend our favorite pizzas. Music is way too loud and it seemed like one of the Dj's was wasted.

My girlfriend and I came in just to grab a beer walk in the streets of Redlands. Come to find out the owners of the shop are all best friends and mostly DJs. The inside is super cool decorated and vinyl records. The vibe is amazing. We got the chef special pizza which is a meatball pizza that was to die for everything is made from scratch even the ranch is amazing. Highly highly recommend will be back for sure. I can't wait to try the other Pizzas.

I'm not sure if they rotate their pizza flavors. Anyway, we ended up not getting any pizza from here. I would love to return and play skeeball the next time we're at RPM. Listen, I get it, he might have not wanted to entertain someone's story. But customer service means to acknowledge the customer and treat them with respect. I packed my things, went over to the woman and told her feelings were valid because he had been dismissive towards others ever since he came in. I know you're not going to care about my review, I know you're not going to lose much money if I never come back. But people need to aware what kind of employees are here. As for the food and coffee - The ingredients no longer taste fresh on the breakfast pizza. It tastes cheap and rushed. The iced vanilla latte I had was mid at best, I forced myself to finish it. Which is disappointing because I have loved both for years. I think the young boys need some better training on how to make coffee, but at least they were personable. The young guy with long curly hair - keep up that positive energy. You're gonna go somewhere. By far the worst pizza place around Redlands. Expensive prices for the poorest quality food. Uncle howie's is ran by very lazy and ignorant people. The workers, restaurant, and food are so poor I don't know which one's worse. The ingredients taste old, wasted my money on warm soggy salads, chicken is just filled with oil which taste so bad, and for the pizza, way overpriced. I saw them pull my pizza dough and sauce from the freezer!! yuck!!! Also when I watched them build by pizza I did not see anyone washing their hands after handling raw meat. They handle raw meat then made my vegetarian pizza. I just watched them jump around from pizza, to oven, to register contaminating everything. So very very bad. Entire building looks and smells old. You get home and you smell just as bad. Guys I would not recommend taking your date here or else you probably won't get another date. I will never go here ever again not even for drinks. There are many other places not too far away that blow this place away, especially for the amount of money you spend. read more

First time here and pizza and wings were actually pretty good but we came to watch the Lakers game because when I was researching where to eat ( we were driving from Menifee to do some shopping at the Redlands Nike ) they had posted on their Instagram to come on down to watch the Laker game a few weeks ago so I thought perfect food looks good and I can watch the game! But I was wrong. When I asked if they could put one tv on the laker game (there was three on and three off) the guy said "I'll see if I can" the answer was no because he never did and they even turned on another tv just to show the same football game that was already on all the other tvs. read more

Tried Uncle Howie's for the first time this weekend after hearing great things, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. The pizza was severely burnt on the bottom. Not the kind of char you'd expect or appreciate from a wood-fired oven. The dough was dense and heavy, and the toppings lacked flavor. I genuinely wanted to enjoy it, but it missed the mark. I don't say this lightly, but even a chain like Domino's offered a better overall experience in terms of taste and quality. That said, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. The pizza and food is terrible, cheap bar food basically. I can say this with complete certainty because I lived in apartments across the street from Uncle Howies, every time I went there it was always an over-priced disappointment. Not to mention the place just appears dirty and had a "B" health code rating. Also, the owner likes to commit hit and runs on pedestrians in the same town as his businesses. I have been eating at Uncle Howies for years and I have to say it is the best pizza anywhere. When you get pizza as great as this I have to say that price doesn't matter......not only is the food great the restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have taken my grandkids and they have a very safe room for play that the kids all seem to enjoy. So if a very fun evening with friends is and great pizza is what you are looking for, go see Uncle Howie. You can usually find him there and he is a joy to be around. read more

we have eaten pizza at howies semi-weekly since they opened. tonight, 3/11/18, like the last 3 times, we have seen many things that were disturbing. there were three hispanic males smoking marijuana for about 30 minutes 15 feet away from me, just outside the north door. the smell was obvious every time the door opened. no staff tried to stop the smoking and we were not happy. after all these years, we are done with uncle howies. we do not understand why the redlands pd does not stop this practice. kerry hennon read more

I have been going to this place for years with my family. I have lived in Chicago for 3 years and have tried all sorts of pizza out there and I have to compare them all to Uncle Howies and for me none compare. Granted they are different types of pizza but like Gino's East they sauce tastes like canned tomatoes and the crust was like a hard cracker, comparing the two I would choose Howies in a heart beat. The prices are a little high but you get good quality food and good service. read more

My daughter suggested this place back in the 90's as she and her RHS friends would drive all the way on their lunch break to have pizza here. Idk if this is just people in the area prefer but in NY we are used to crisp wings. The sauce on the wings was very good but I wish they came crispy! Next time I will ask. The crust didn't really have any taste however the crunch was nice on the thin crust and I was very impressed by the amount of toppings on the supreme. It was the perfect amount of vegetables and cheese and worth going back for! I liked their branding and would be interested to see the inside and the customer service experience next try there!

Also when I ordered online on the website it said 1-topping medium pizzas for $8.99. Wow great deal! When I went to order it and chose the location, deal disappears.....bait and switch. Today I received a commercial on my Facebook feed for a $10.99 deal. When I put in the code, it said the deal had expired. Then why are you paying Facebook to advertise an expired promotion? I tried to go on their website and give feedback but the feedback form won't load and just keeps clocking. I hope you go out of business along with Southwest Airlines!!
