This is not NY pizza however the pizza wasn't bad. It was pretty greasy and I hate giving reviews that aren't celebrating a small business' work but I couldn't get behind this. The woman that helped us was very pleasant and she made our experience pleasant. However the place was dirty. Super crowded in terms of things being everywhere, handprints and dirt on the doors and floors, I couldn't get the courage to go to the bathroom because if your restaurant looks like that I didn't dare to try the restroom. Literally a few wet wipes would make the place look cleaner but unfortunately it seems like they did not care. I didn't feel comfortable eating there so we took the food to go. The pizza wasn't bad however not thin ny pizza and I had to pat it dry. The wings were rubbery and we tried to broil them to give them a little crisp when we brought them home but ended up throwing them out. Again it's unfortunate that I have to leave this review but it's honest. The woman was lovely and pleasant however the cleanliness was not acceptable inside and good customer service is not enough reason to pay for the food and experience here. Got the food quickly and tastes good. The antipasta salad is excellent with Italian dressing. Asked for olives on the side but they didn't do that. When you pick up a slice all of the toppings including the cheeses come off. And we got the New Yorker pizza. It was missing two toppings. The ham and mushrooms. Boo. read more

This was my first time ordering New York pizzeria pizza from DoorDash. I ordered a 14 inch pepperoni pizza with black olives on it. What I received was a cheese pizza black olive 14 inch. I went back and looked at my receipt. Apparently it showed that I had put in a cheese pizza with black olives, but the picture above the cheese pizza with black olives that I ordered showed a pepperoni pizza so they fooled me with the picture that didn't match the pizza on the DoorDash App. I also ordered their potato wedges, even though they have seasoning on them they were tasteless. They were stale! tried adding some salt that still didn't make them taste. Good thing I ordered extra ranch dressing because I thought this pizza place probably has the good ranch. Nope taste just like hidden Valley Ranch, which I don't like. Hidden Valley Ranch to me is to vinegary. The pizza was OK, but it should've come with pepperoni as pictured. Never ordering those potato wedges again. May order the cheese pizza again because at least it's better than Domino's or Pizza Hut! read more

We had this delivered for dinner. Large pepperoni pizza with an order of potato wedges and an order of wings. They gave us a ton of ranch which was the best because some places are stingy. The food was delicious! I am sometimes picky on pizza but this was so good. I only wish the slices were bigger so that you could fold the pizza when dipping and eating it. New York Pizzaria is predominately a takeout place, but still has quick service. Since they are located on the street side of the building, parking on the street is the most efficient, but there is parking in the rear. You can see inside pics, but keep in mind it's a place. You can see my pic of the menu and see the limited selection, yet it has a diverse representation of Italian food. Also note that cash is welcomed here - there is a 3.75% surcharge for non-cash payments. We were offered water, and you can see what we received. Nowhere else in town does one get their own pitcher of water - great for us! We started with the antipasto salad - it was straight-forward. It had all the main ingredients, see pic. The Italian salad dressing was okay. The greens were fresh. The processed meats and artichoke heart were somewhat bland. We split a 4 slice (individual) pepperoni and sausage pizza. It has a thin crust, which holds up quite well. The exposed crust around the edge was quite flavorful and crunchy without being over cooked. The sauce was tangy and rich. I could've bought a frozen pizza!!! I order 3 toppings and barely got the 3rd one I counted two. Very dead inside. Don't get me wrong the flavor wasn't bad but it was just equivalent of School pizza. The guy behind the counter was nice. I don't like eating off a Styrofoam because the heat singes the plate. But that's what they serve you on Styrofoam plates. I think if you were broke and you need some thing this is the place but this is not the place you would go to for New York pizzeria or for any gourmet pizza. This is just not it. I'm from the OC and originally from Chicago and know what an authentic deep dish pizza should taste like! The deep dish pizza was like eating some semi ok toppings (tasteless) on very very dry bread for $45!! We literally threw it away This owner should go to Tony's Little Italy in Placentia and taste a real deep dish pizza and then do all he can to duplicate it. I'll never order from here again unless he does. Most of the restaurants in Banning/Beaumont area are not worth going to. That's why everyone that lives here goes to PS or Redlands to dine out. It's a cute small place like most places but the smell sets the tone. Delicious and you gotta try it. The cheese ravioli, lasagna and spaghetti are amazing. Another amazing and delicious meal at NY Pizzaria! Had large pepperoni pizza, large Tuscan pizza, jalapeno poppers, and spaghetti with meatballs. The highlights I must say were the classic pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. Omg the spaghetti sauce made me feel as if I was in an authentic Italian household getting spoiled with the marinara sauce... mMmMMm!! Highly recommended spot! Place smells like insect repellent, bathroom is out of order, my small pizza was 16.99 even though advertised as 13.99. There's a fee to use debit cards and credit cards. Owner and cook seem checked out. What a depressing experience. The Tuscan pizza itself is advertised as a "creamy Alfredo sauce topped with chicken, artichoke hearts, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes." But the cheese sauce is over my minimal toppings. Presentation was that of a cheese pizza. Pizza was a tasty rip off. Needs to highlight the toppings on the advert. Tried to start a friendly conversation but owner didn't seem interested in having any kind of hospitality for his only patron, and gave his attention to his movie. My husband and I are on a mission to find our favorite pizza place in Redlands and decided to try this place since we always see it when we get a sandwich from Saverinos. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza which was around $18 and a calzone to go. Not worth the price and the pizza reminded me of a lunchable pizza flavor. My husband said he felt like he can taste what their fridge smells like and it ruined it for him. The calzone was okay. Definitely not like NY pizza and neither of us liked it so we won't be going back but at least we got to try it. The food, in my opinion, is very delicious and at a good price. New York Pizzaria has been around for many years. I would bring my sons here back on the 90's. Pizza, drinks, tv and a few arcade games was the scene then. You can get other foods like some sandwiches or spaghetti and meatballs too. I'm not an expert, but to me New York should be large slices, cheese galore, bubbly melty chewy cheesy goodness that covers your hand easily. These pizzas looked good - but the taste can only be described as basic. A specialty XL pizza was $25 for a meat lovers - and my take? Not enough meat. The pepperoni? Super basic - no distinguishing characteristics at all. More flavor from major chains and way less cost. Long story short - 2 XL pizza and one Medium for just under $75 (+ their charge for using a card.....) - not worth it at all. Load the toppings - generosity always wins the day. read more

They communicate so warmly and saved our dinner family night. We agreed on a arrival time and parked literally right in front of the shop. Let me begin by saying that we have only had take out from New York Pizzeria so I can't review ambiance or atmosphere. For more than a year now we have gotten our pizza from NYP for one distinct reason and that is abundant, flavorful pizza. They don't skimp on the ingredients. We get the "New Yorker" which is a supreme pizza full of fresh meat and veggies topped with extra cheese. It takes time to prepare so call ahead, it is worth the wait. I ordered a meat lovers pizza yesterday. If you look at my pizza I don't know if it had any meat in it. There is supposed to be like 3-4 different meats. It's cheap and way overpriced for basically a frozen pizza. If you read the menu it states you charge by the topping. Why was I charged for 4-5 toppings when you didn't put them on my pizza? Go to Strongman Pizza for delivery or fast pick up pizza. All the reviews on here are very old and if you don't have the toppings you still don't get to charge people the same price.
